Ever since Chat GPT’s launch in November of 2022, AI has been on the tip of everyone’s tongue on a widespread, public scale. New AI tools are emerging every day, with some technologies now capable of generating illustrations, photos, poems, and entirely produced songs from nothing but a short prompt. Knowing that these technologies are evolving at rocket-speed can leave artists feeling replaceable and purposeless. That’s why in this video, I want to offer 3 reasons why I believe AI will never truly be able to replace the value of human art, despite how super-intelligent it is set to become in the decade ahead. I will also present my arguments as to why I believe AI-generated art will also have tremendous value, for different reasons. And finally, I will share a short review of Mo Gawdat’s incredible book “Scary Smart” about AI’s development, a must-read for anyone interested in the subject.
