No offense, but did an AI write this script? It feels like you repeated and rephrased key points about 3 times in the video. As well as repeating key questions 3 times. I mean, this was an amazing video, but it feels like you stretched it to 10 minutes for the algo's sake. i can't fault you given how horrible youtube is, but...
For military use, fly-by-wire was used a good deal years before it was introduced in the Airbus A-320. The F-16 had fly-by-wire from the outset simply because the F-16 is an unstable platform without the fly-by-wire technology. It should probably be mentioned that Airbus A-320 airplanes did suffer a couple of accidents due to the advanced technology with flight computers the first 10 years. This was partly due to pilots not fully understanding the limitations in the systems but also due to the always ongoing process of improving the technology.
@@TheChiefEng thanks, I was will aware of the F-16’s fly by wire system. I followed F-16 through its developing until its acceptance in the Air Force. My self I started flying in the mid 70’s. I followed the F-8 Crusader test aircraft. Do you remember when airbus showing the 320 for the first or soon after. I Still have the mental image of the A320 flying into the woods.
Nope, Boeing does not have more models on offer. Boeing’s offering is left with the 737 family, 777 family and 787 family. 747, 767 and 757 are not being manufactured anymore. Airbus has the A220, A320/321, A330 and A350 families on offer.
