Intersectionality should make people aware of the different life experiences we have, but it has turned into a way to pit people against each other by pairing a privileged group (men or whites) with a marginalized group (women or blacks) and then guilt trip everyone of the privileged group in a very vindictive way. It does the opposite of bringing people together. We are individuals first - not just the result of our identity groups. Why can't we acknowledge systemic problems without implicating everyone of a particular identity group?
@@ChollieD My only objection is guilt tripping people because they belong to a privileged group, holding them personally responsible for someone else's oppression. Robin DiAngelo, who holds seminars on race, tells her all white audience that they are all racist.
