Absolutely! As a mother I get anxiety thinking what if there were an emergency and I needed to drive or be completely sober for something... i would rather not deal with drinking.
I quit a few months back, same reason, I'm not good at drinking and so many times don't remember the previous night. Embarrassing and not responsible. Good for her for recognizing that isn't a good thing for her child or her life.
I'm 27, i don't drink, just because i don't want to, i don't like the smell or taste, and i grew up around people who do drink and it's not always just a glass of wine. So made the decision very young I was not going to be that person. Know what i mean lol
It's great tho! I really don't see any benefits of drinking alcohol tbh, and watching people have the after effects, I'm like yehhhhh my body is happy not consuming those things lmaoo
there are no benefits to drinking alcohol at all! it just takes away your ability to think clearly and makes you make dumb choices. not worth it at all
Radost Dinkova same! It’s been about 3 years. I bought some wine coolers about a year ago to try and I took one sip and just didn’t want it, it wasn’t good, it wasn’t appealing. I’m glad I made the decision to not drink.

aundrea hodges I had a great 21st birthday. My husband was deployed so my friends and my parents took me to dinner and a casino and then back to my place to hang out after. I haven’t partied like that since and I’m now 27. I’m glad I don’t drink any more. I never abused alcohol or depended on it but I’m still happy that I don’t drink
aundrea hodges I’m 25, I don’t drink, and I don’t ever plan to start. My 21st birthday was wonderful, and I didn’t have a drop of alcohol! The plus side to a sober 21st birthday, is you get to have an amazing time doing something you love with the people you love, and unlike most people, you actually get to REMEMBER it all! Plus, no hangover the next day! I can’t tell you how many friends and people I know who have very little recollection of their 21st, and to me, that just doesn’t seem like any fun. I don’t regret my decision one bit, nor have I ever felt like I was missing out. I actually think by drinking alcohol you are missing out more than if you are sober. Being sober means being in control of yourself, having fun and remembering it, and fully enjoying each moment to its fullest extent! Drinking limits all of those things. I don’t need alcohol to have fun or enjoy myself, I’m perfectly capable of doing that on my own, and I prefer it that way! My decision not to drink is due to so many reasons, but mainly it just isn’t worth it to me. The threat of alcoholism after watching my “father” destroy his life with it, along with the taste of it being horrid (my mother allowed me to take a small sip of her drink when I was young, and that was enough to turn me off for life), I just don’t see any positives about it, and I don’t see anything good that it could add to my life that I don’t already have! So please, don’t feel like you have to drink because society tells you it’s normal and what you should be doing, and please don’t think that you will be missing out on anything by not drinking, because I promise that both of those things are so far from the truth! If you don’t want to drink, or don’t feel ready to, that’s YOUR choice! Just focus on having an amazing 21st birthday, alcohol has nothing to do with it! Whatever you decide, I hope you have a wonderful birthday! 😊🎉
Not completely true lol! Hundreds and hundreds of some of the most famous and amazing songs were created while the artist was intoxicated. Novels, scripts, as well, I am sure.
I’ve been to Mauritius and its truly a beautiful place it has the second highest zip line the world I did that along side other amazing things and absolutely gorgeous waterfalls!!! It was the best family trip I’ve ever went to!!!

I never get how ppl don’t hit a certain point in their life where they no longer want to drink. I rarely drink and if so it’s some wine but I can definitely live without alcohol
I quit drinking 2 years ago, and not a drop since then. I'm 28 now and haven't been any happier and nor felt as stable at any point earlier in my life.
I met her and her boyfriend (husband?) at my job in 2017, they came to my check out aisle and were super polite. I tried really hard not to freak out with excitement.
