Don’t forget, palestine was never a self governing state. It is a name given to the region by the Romans to spite the Jews after the Bar Kokhba revolt. Given further credence by the British despite objections from Arab leaders. They didn’t like the name and preferred “Southern Syria” instead. There is no ‘p’ in the Arabic alphabet even. Ask a “palestinian” what the name means, how it came about, who were the historic leaders/kings/rulers. They will have no answer. The most accepted answer would be rooted in the Hebrew word for invader…”plishtim”, which is also the root word for the name philistine. A group of people that through archaeological findings were determined to come from Greece, Southern Europe and who might have inhabited parts of modern day Turkey. The name was only adopted in the 1960s, after the “palestinian” people realised it gave them more claim to the land in the eyes of the international community. It obtained pseudo statehood only in 1988. 40 years after the reestablishment of Israel.

Also you don't mention that Palestinians in other countries could not get permanent visas so they became a poor underclass. Those countries were already poor countries and didn't want to take on even more poor people, the people also wanted to return to Palestine, not stay in other countries. And Palestinians are FIFTEEN PERCENT CHRISTIAN.
