I'm glad you didn't put Gonta to this list. Gonta was underestimated throughout the game due to a deficiency in common knowledge and deduction. All the same, in chapter 4, i was wondering why Kokichi had approached Gonta but not others. And I realised, unlike the others pretended to be heroic and "not sacrifice my friends" and let the killing go on, Gonta decided to "save" everyone without a second thought.

Hm, I don't think Byakuya was that useful. I mean, what good is an Ultimate Progeny? He's literally just a rich kid who doesn't know anything except how to identify serial killers, and even when he got to do that, it ended up being a red herring. I still feel bad for the Mahiru & Hiyoko Man’s Nut scene tbh. Sure Mahiru was a feminist yapper but she was the most realistic female character in the series, not to mention she’s 17 and Hiyoko is also 17 but looks 12 which makes that scene (and the uncensored version of Mahiru in the DR2’s files, wtf Spike Chunsoft) much more messed up. DR2 was plagued with annoying fanservice but for some reason they chose Mahiru rather than Mikan for a scene like that, because at least with her it would make sense. Best girl deserves better 😔
