Thank you Professor, you have confirmed what I have found by experience. Ulcers on my husbands leg were not responding to the usual treatment, so as soon as he came off anti-biotics, I asked that they use Manuka honey on them, they have healed well, and new ones are now being treated immediately with Manuka honey and so we have no use for oral antibiotics(always a plus!!).

I used manuka honey on a large mrsa wound after being cared for by distrist nurses daily and lots of different antibodics after using manuka honey on a daily basis cleared the mrsa. I highly recommend this honey I used factor 15 umf. I used the honey from a jar but their r now dressings for wounds.

We have been using Manuka Honey in our household after family discovering it in Canada, even for dressings , we ordered e dressings but they are so,costly!

I have an ulcerated leg wound after a horsefly bite that became infected. Over 2 months of having my wound dressed by the district nurses at my surgery has left me with a bigger area of surface wound than I began sith slthough it is not as deep now. I want to know where I can get these manuka honey dressings as each time my wound gets treated they cause so much pain removing whatever dressings used and I cannot stand this pain for much longer. Please advise...thank you
