Professor Molan has pioneered the research on Manuka Honey and woundcare. You are entitled to your opinion, but in mine, he deserves a lot more respect than you've expressed.
Honey as a wound care goes back to ancient Egyptian papyrus medical records. I have been using honey mixed with herbs for over thirty years and can attest to its efficacy. Local organic unpasteurized honey is enough but add propolis and myrrh and it will stop MRSA. Thank you for the research and telling us what we already know about honey. Manuka does have interesting essential oils as well.
LOL okay to each his own...I kept using the dear old manuka honey...that stuff kept my toe INFECTION FREE FOR 2 1/2 yrs ..so bless the bees and bless the professorl but the funny bit is...I dropped a heavy bottle of "honey conditioner on the top of my foot, the foot swelled up bad and closed up the wound so im telln a fb friend with burns and mrsa to use it, I just got a new jar too! lol I guess i'll try it on toast!! LOL I guess I got me one "honey" of a toe don't I? I thank God and Manuka! :)
Thank you so much for this information. I have a dear friend that has knee replacement and it is infected. She has gone months getting iv antibiotics and she still has this infection. They took out her knee cap at this time and want her to come several times a week to retake iv antibiotics. I'm searching for something to help her. I hope this is it. Thank you again.
aww...look how caring you are about the doggie!! I'm science minded, but I thank god for doctors who promote natural stuff too. I had a split callous from swollen feet very akin to diabetic...SO I PRAY RIGHT NOW, THAT XENOS WILL HAVE THE SAME INFECTION FREE RESULTS I HAD AND A TOTAL CLOSING AND HEALING OF HIS FOOT so he can be a fun daddy again!! Bless him and amen...( if its on the bottom try to take the pressure off when ever you can after the bottle thing I got off it a lot lol ) my best:):)
he's right it's helping me a lot! tastes like doo doo on toast anyway so you may as well use it on wounds! LOL it's good stuff and I don't have a dog in this fight but it's helping with a bad toe! GB
