Sex deprivation, lack of direction, depression without anyone really caring, loneliness, and the constant pressure from society to live up to a certain standard and the internal and external shame that goes along with not doing so are all huge issues with young men these days, yet so many people simply don’t care and even ridicule men for having them.

I've had the same experience for the last 15 years of my adult life and I'm a female. We live in a society that is not conducive towards community or even human interaction. Everything about the suburbs is built around never having to socialize. You don't even have to socialize to order food, go grocery shopping or go to work. It's a huge disaster for everyone; men and women alike. Women are just better at handling it than men. Men are wired differently. I will say that the only thing I've ever found off putting about men is resentment and hatred. Looks were never an issue for men, weight wasn't really that big of a deal. Income was only an issue if you were in your mom's house. I don't think most women are entirely picky in that regard, I think most women are willing to give men a chance. It's just that opportunities for dating are limited to these silly dating apps. if you're a guy who isn't having luck, I definitely recommend some meet up groups.

One factor I felt that wasn't discussed, and is honestly not discussed enough when this subject comes up, is the lack of friendships many people have today. If you don't have friends, there's really no other realistic outlet for you to meet someone than by a dating app. If you have friends though, you could meet people through their social networks, friends of friends, or just while out one night.

Absolutely! The whole “I don’t need anyone” or being proud to be strong on your own is good to an extent. If you’re actually lonely and have no relationships with people to nurture then a human will feel lost. Unless someone is an on the spectrum introvert type idk. Being social is so important to humans and Covid proved that. I agree the work from home life is terrible for most when taking this angle into account.

Fight Club did a great job at portraying the problem, but I'm not sure the solution to the problem is all that clear. It did end, however, with Ed Norton fighting his own demon instead of expecting women to come down to his level and just be who he wanted them to be to make him feel better. I think that's the elephant in the room. Women changed, but men didn't. I don't really understand, though, why Bill thinks that men not going to college is a problem when he always says that college isn't necessary, and people shouldn't worry about not going. That's obviously not true. We need to make college more affordable for everyone.

The real culprits are women's emancipation (which has made them just like men in society, yet they have not adjusted their behavior and still want the traditional men while not wanting to play the role of traditional women) and government that enacts discriminatory policies (otherwise known as positive discrimination or DEI) so that men are deprived of the best and meaningful jobs in favour of women and minorities.

When online dating started, it was all about finding your partner, and then you're done. But this switched when the people running dating apps realized that it was stupid to toss away customers, just because they found a partner. In fact, when the app succeeds, it loses TWO customers! This cannot be allowed to stand! And so (the predictability of this is so tiresome) they started de-emphasizing the idea of finding a partner and deleting the app and they started using all the social media psychological tricks, with the goal of just getting you to use the app and keep paying your subscription every month. After not using one app for a few weeks I got an unbelievable message from them with the subject line "Don't settle." The problem isn’t about sex, it’s that millions of young men don’t get any love of affection or validation from women, they don’t have the companionship to keep them grounded & connected to society, sex is just a good measure of a man getting the rest of this… and it’s possibly 50% or more of young men don’t get a lot of sex actively anyway. 30% of 18 to 25 year olds only having sex once or zero times in a whole year means all the women are forced to share specific men, which also makes all the men who have many of them more cruel, likely to ghost, see them as objects or accessories & not care about having healthy relationships with one.

Well said. I'm studying Bible prophecy at the moment, and it blows my mind how it predicted the rise of Narcissism in society during the end times 2,000 years ago. Narcissists are equally accounted for among men and women, and they view others as objects for use. The rise of porn parallels this, and our ability to have functional and satisfying relationships with others is the casualty. No wonder that people feel more lonely and increasingly depressed. The recent worldwide lockdowns made it worse. Those of us who have Narcissist parents are a mile behind the starting line compared with our peers; our relationship skills have to be learned elsewhere, not in the home. It's only getting worse with this new generation of Narcissist parents turning their commodified children into trans or non-binary trophies for the parent to get attention: Munchausen's By Proxy. They don't care that their children are physically mutilated, and will be infertile and unable to have s*x as adults. Thank God this wasn't a thing when I was a child, or my Narcissist mother might have inflicted it on me in her power-tripping, schadenfreude, and abuse.🇭🇲

I think he’s right about the social media aspect. I remember 25-30 years ago when I was in high school and college that we (as men) actually WENT OUT to socialize either by ourselves or in a group and (depending on what kind of strange you were looking for) meet women. Even the nerdiest, most awkward among us found a woman that appreciated them. The issue is, it’s far too easy to hide behind a screen, be someone you’re not while having unrealistic expectations of beauty and wealth (this goes for both men and women). Add to this-the past 15 years society has stated that male behavior (anything that traditionally defines men and their behavior) has been deemed “toxic.” So, as a society, you’ve decided men are toxic, and created millions of literal “yes men” and believe it or not, women don’t want that.

Oh, that is so true! My comment (elsewhere here) somewhat reinforces what you have observed. Yup. A woman told me recently I was mansplaining to her when I was answering a question SHE asked and all I wanted to do was roll her noggin. I watched a documentary about boys in schools and how NOTHING in the public school system is there to benefit boys or tailor to them in anyway. It's really sad how badly society needs masculine men but how we're demonized for it. I've been called toxic because I'd rather my ex not go out for girls night. As someone pretty close in age to you I agree with almost everything you said except the last small paragraph. Perhaps a little nostalgic about socializing and finding women as back then the nerdy guys typically were left alone and girls wanted the jocks. Might be because everyone wanted the IT girl at the bar and weren’t realistic about who they should be pursuing. Hate to say it but our generation raised this Gen Z group and while I can attest to hiring a few very good working young men and women, there are a lot that think before their first annual review they should be running the place and grow impatient quickly. The last paragraph about liberal yes men seems off putting while old school conservative call their wives “mother” like Pence and I have certainly heard that elsewhere. Our HR dept talks about how many of the just out of school kids looking for jobs can’t even look you in the eye during a discussion and have no ability to build rapport during the interview process. I told her I wanted to go home so we left. She invited me in but I declined politely. She emailed me asking for another date to which I declined politely again and got a response of a torrent of profanity). I joined a dating site, found someone with similar interests to mine. The frustrating part. I've done all the things these guys say. I've got the education, the vocational training and even with those I can't get a stable job to even be considered dateable. There is one thing that is overlooked that these guys miss. The job market is broken. The over reliance of technology through applicant tracking systems and defining people through their employment history prevents people from getting the opportunity to transition to different jobs and careers. If you graduated during the great recession like myself you know this directly where you had to go back to the same jobs you have in high school because those were the only jobs available and that started a domino effect. Employers no longer cared about your education because you had a job that said that your value as a person in the world of work is that of a waiter or retail employee. The economy and job market produces more low income jobs than ever before thanks to both businesses and the government. The higher ups aren't retiring and not passing the torch of leadership and jobs to the younger generation. So the millennial never had a chance to even get a career in the industry where they got their major as over 65% of graduates aren't even working in the career where they got their major putting all that knowledge and skills to waste and over 40% of those who graduated regret their major because they aren't able to get a career related to their major. This has created a bottleneck where even Gen X are still stuck in low management and even entry level jobs. Course I can't blame the working elderly Gen X and Baby Boomers because they couldn't afford to retire anyway because there are no pensions and the cost of living has inflated so much that wages have been stagnant for over 70 years. So as a result to make a living and honestly doing better than getting an education and trying to get a job, the women are on OnlyFans, Fansly and Twitch creating parasocial relationships with children and young men and making six figures or more. The men are on Twitch and RU-vid because if you can't get a job that pays a living wage based on your education your only option to get a career is to create a portfolio online showcasing your talents and hobbies. We're all doing the intentionally dumbest and most destructive acts on TikTok and Twitter just to get noticed as that has more luck jumpstarting a career than trying to get a career in the job market. Employers don't care about people's education anymore when it comes to considering a candidate, they want people who have direct work experience and lacking that the star power of a youtuber because to get that entry level job it's not only requires breadth of knowledge and skill, it takes depth. As for the women who are doing better in education and in income, they are going to consider having relationships with people who are doing better than them economically, regardless of education. These guys say to work your ass off but you can't really work your ass off when you can't get a job. Can't even think about asking a woman out on a date when you're not paid a living wage to afford your own place instead of living in your parent's house. EDIT: If Scott Galloway reads this. I have a bachelor's degree and the following certifications going back to community college, adult school, and certification work programs. None of these have helped me transition to any of these career fields because my recent work experience is in administration. Even working with over five different temp agencies have not been able to get me a temp job. - Microsoft Certified Professional (Windows Server) - Medical Billing and Insurance Coding - Video Editing - Data Analytics (SQL, R, Tableau [Learn to code]) - Project Management I'm now going back to adult school again to get a certificate in accounting. I honestly don't know what to do if after completing this certificate program what I am going to do. I have wasted decades of my life doing what everyone says I should do to get a career but the job market doesn't want me.

Before going back to school for another certificate, go on some interviews of potential employers in that field and ask them about the opportunities available, what they are looking for and their advice to you. Find people working in the field and ask if you can get together and talk. People are open to that. Talk with people who make hiring decisions and find out what they want. Come with a list of questions so you are prepared. These would not be job interviews, but interviews seeking their knowledge of the field. Do that first, and then proceed only if it still looks worthwhile.

There is not one thing you can point to and say this is why young men are in crisis. Having declared that, the one point that always bothered me was when boys sports stopped keeping score in little league sports. Boys want to win, they want to play hard, and know that their efforts helped beat their opponent. Moreover, schools stopped or reduced outside recess, and daily boys gym. Young boys need to work off their excess energy. It should not be suppressed with Rx drugs.

I have long noted that when young men, or even adolescents, have trouble connecting with women, there's a tendency to dismiss or ridicule them. "If women avoid you that should tell you something" is a typical retort, as if he should instinctively know how to solve it. I am on my 50s and have been married for 15 years, but when 20 I remember greatly resenting that I was supposed to instinctively know whether someone was interested in me or if she was just being polite, I had to ask if she'd like to get together, I had to think of something to do, I had to pay for it, and I was dismissed as a creepy jerk if I miscalculated any of this. We need to allow men to work on these things rather than expect them to miraculously know.

I feel this way alot. Something they didn't mention in this was the absence of male fathers, or father figures in men's lives. That is huge! If you look at most the people who went and shot up schools or grocery stores, or whatever it is, most didn't have a father in their life. There is a manhood and a fatherless crisis in our country. And it's been here a while. When you have signs that read, "Take time to be a father today", that to me is really, really scary. Kids neeed moms and dads. Good role models. I don't know the numbers, but stats prove that even if a child grows up without a father, but has some type of male role model, (neighbor, friends dad, pastor, priest, etc) they are some much more likely NOT to commit crimes, have children before marriage, drop out of school. Unfortunately, many men who have children don't participate in the raising of said children. In fact, I wish I had a nickel for anytime I heard one of them referring to watching their Own children as "babysitting". Yeah-not babysitting-jacka*s. It's called, Parenting. And you don't get a cookie or special applause for simply feeding, clothing and housing yours. That is actually the bare minimum of what you are required to do, by law. Women have been putting in the hours, days, weeks, years of raising and taking care of their children as primary or sole care givers for entirely too long-no cookie or applause, btw. Just expected.🤨 But when a man changes the diaper of his Own 🧒-they're told what "great parents" they are and there is a parade for "all the effort given" or the woman is told "how lucky" she is that he helps her-with his Own child-as if she put it there by herself🤬. Nevermind the fact, that Mom was up all night with the little bundle of joy, eventhough she also works full time and then in most cases also has to take care of most of the household chores too. Now, we also have to be even more worried about being raped in certain states because we no longer even have bodily autonomy in certain states and may be forced to carry the rape baby and then possibly be forced to co-parent with our rapist. This connects with Bills point about 90% of women focusing all their attention towards 4-5 men or a small percentage. This means that most women go after the tallest, richest iron-pumping guys(because they can) and end up getting knocked up. Women don't look for men who are interested in long term relations or anything other than sex. When I was in the army, I saw this first hand. The 4-5 tallest guys in our platoon had women lined up(scheduled) with 10 minute pauses in between...they kept coming and going all day long. Each woman thought that they were the only one. Most of the platoon had either no one...and a few had someone to visit them. Ive noticed that women will eventually start giving up on looking only at the tallest/biggest/strongest/richest guys and gradually lower their expectations the worse they are treated by the few, for whom they were just " a Mondays girl"

They NEED to have that in person experience. I'm assuming you have already worked in an office before so you have that context. It's a grey area but not everyone can work remote, nor should they. But I've got mixed emotions about it at best; kind of like my ex-wife driving off a cliff in my new ferrari.

It was far better than working in one office with the same people from the same company. They have remote coffee shops and work hubs where you could easily connect with others. Furthermore, nowadays you cant work in an office and say whatever you want. You have to really watch yourself. I used to have flings with girls at the same office. I'd never do that now. We _already_ have a society that doesn't value men. In fact, we nearly have a society that despises men, and any men who even look like they have something to say about it are aggressively silenced and shoved out of society altogether. I grew up in the poorest, most dysfunctional, unsupportive environment there is. My parents were never together for a single day that I have been alive, and I haven't talked to either one of them in years. My childhood was primarily a lesson on what not to do, but it also made me desperately want to establish a family-despite having no idea how something like that worked. I made my way into college where I got a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree and graduated with honors. I also tutored mathematics up to and including multivariable calculus along with qualifying for Mensa. Despite my education and abilities, I was never able to get an engineering job. My window of opportunity to have a family is now gone, and I spend 99% of my time alone hoping for a day to come along that makes me believe there's a reason to continue existing. The problem is that I'm reaching the point that no version of the future seems any less miserable than the rest. There simply is no path to goodness for men in society today. We are condemned and hated by many but praised by none, regardless of who or what we truly are or wish to be.

Do not despair! I met my husband in his 40s (I was in my 30s) and he had already resigned himself to the idea that his fatherhood ship had sailed. But I saw in him everything I had been praying for, and I married him and gave him two beautiful healthy babies. He is now entering his 50s as a dad (for which he is overjoyed) with a wife who is deeply in love with him and believes in him, and roots for him in life. Men have a little more time to find a mate than women do. You can still produce healthy children at a later age than women can. And all the years you have spent improving yourself are investments in yourself, that mean you have more to offer. It's not too late, and there are decent women out there who want someone just like you, who may be lonely themselves. I wish you the best of luck on your path!

Gentlemen out there this is my two cents for what its worth: If you can't find a gal that excepts you for who you are. Stay nice to women but, go it alone. Stay kind to yourselves and others. Its not your fault. Do the best you can and maybe some lady will see that, maybe they never will. But find joy in living your life, no matter how small. I have had CP all my life. I can walk but, it looks like I'm and extra from central casting for the walking dead; its a turn off for people, especially women. I was broken from the gate and I've have a lot of friends that happen to be women and they like me but, not that way. That's okay. If a friend is all I can be-that's all I can be. I'm not gonna hate the world-I didn't make it this way. All I can do is bow to the absurd accept it and go on. I know my genes are okay for kids but people and only attracted to what they can see they make assumptions for everything else. That's okay. "In the dark we are all the same. It's only our knowledge and wisdom that separate us. Don't let your eyes deceive you." -Janet Jackson-Rhythm nation '89. I've lived by that saying since I was 8 years old and never forgotten it. Knew a guy like you, I'd basically have 3 simultaneous girlfriends and he'd not even get a look, he was very close to me and was the nicest individual I met, in a deep way, an intelligent and kind person, what's worst he wanted nothing to do with the hookup culture, he wanted to marry and have someone to live with. Girls lost on him big time, but you're right, the world is what it is, there's no solving the existential equation, we'd just need to accept and deal with life unfolding. Still, this story made me realize women are like men in that sense, they don't deeply care for you, or at least not on the attraction basis, they'd need some attributes to be validated beforehand, which is fine, it's just changed my perspective. It makes you wonder if the modern society isn't promising men a cornelian choice: either somber into solitude and depression or wave the flag of rebellion, I don't know which is worst to be frank...

@@RomanianBoyz But there was nothing in there about not be nice by default, unless I'm misreading it to me to me it read like even though you are in a position like him and myself are. Where we each have our own problem that makes dating difficult beyond the problems regular healthy men are having, be prepared to go your life alone. If someone comes along great, but don't wait to be happy until that persons comes along. When I see regular guys, that are by no means bad looking just not movie star material and have a regular job talk about how they have tried everything from online dating to doing the kinds of things in actual life that normal people would do to get dates. It's hard not to think "well I'm screwed just get ready to die alone," not in a bitter way. Before my life changed I was able to walk both lines of having female friends. And once I got very fit my confidence gained enough to where I was able to get myself to go up to a complete stranger talk, and turn the conversation into a date either right then and there or max a few days later. Now most of the women I interact with are nurses and the only reason I interact with them is I need them to survive. I have actually manged to get a few dates over the years after things changed, but eventually it gets to the point where the women just can't see it working long term. Not only am I not bitter about it, I fully understand their position, women want a man who can be a partner, not a patient. I'm just grateful I've been able to get a few make out sessions from those dates, since it's nice feeling the touch of a woman. Although it has been 4 years since the last time, and I think my dating pool and chances of not dying a virgin as dried up. Women in their 30s are not as willing to give time to something they know right from the get go is not going to work out. That aside. I'm kinda stunned this topic was brought up on this how, and even more so where it came from and how this comment section has turned out. I think education and vocational training are keys to helping men be successful. When I say education, I don't necessarily mean a university. Many young men would do very well in trades such as welding, electrician, plumbing, etc. It would keep them busy and help them to learn problem solving. In addition, they would have much less debt from university and have a decent income. This would give young men much more to look forward to in life and I'm sure women would be interested in a man who is dedicated to a craft and has a steady income. This issue needs to be addressed more aggressively. This is an actual emergency for our society. Men are constantly diminished in so many different ways. For example, I just saw an ad for Xfinity. In it, a couple is told about the advantages of a particular plan. The woman customer states "she can do better" with the woman salesperson acknowledging her. The male says the same thing and the salesperson politely smiles and looks down at her lap. The inference being that the woman can not only trade up her phone plan but she could get another mate. Yet the male is made to look as if he's lucky to be breathing the same air as his girlfriend. Despite no obvious differences in age, attractiveness or intelligence, we are conditioned to believe that the female can always do better and the males had better be happy with they've got. One should also consider the insidious way situation comedies and other television commercials constantly hammer the nonsense of the dumpy, stupid man who always gets into some trouble and the intelligent, pretty and perfect wife or girlfriend, giving him that look of "not again you stupid boob" and having to come to his rescue.

While that's true in the 20s and maybe the start of the 30s, things really turn against women after that point. Many a mom has told her daughter that if she doesn't hurry up and find someone while young & beautiful she'll have a much harder time later, even if she's well-ensconced in her career and doing OK financially (as those things won't count for much with guys and may drive some off). Also, the numbers game really starts hurting women. Inmates, oil rig workers, "Deadliest Catch" fishermen, people in dangerous occupations - heavily male. They either die or go out of circulation. LGBTs also work against them, as male couples well outnumber female ones. It really causes the pool to dry up starting in the 30s or thereabouts.
@spikeysnack

To an ad writer, the idea they have is that it appeals to women to see women come out on top in a short morality play, and that will "associate the product with a wanted lifestyle change" or something. It also has some corporate think that they will catch shit all day if they make the women the butt of the joke, and they can only think of making someone the butt of the joke. The idea that a product or service will "overcome the male unfairness of society" is baked in, and it is yes quite wrong, but will continue as long as such marketing techniques continue to work. It actually does make women want to buy the product, as is reinforces their bias and makes them feel connected to a mythical "struggle for equality" being fictionalized. We all love to see the bad guy get his just desserts, and somehow that has become a forcefeed marketing tactic that is very very one-sided in popular ad media. Like wise the promotion of woman on man violence as always justified in many many shows. It is only when a woman is totally over the line and villainous that she is ever on the receiving end and it is never "a joke" like it is with men. Ever watch the Hallmark Channel, or any "women's channel" ? they are full of this "trading up" BS even though it is often dumping a maniacal rich psycho for a down-to-earth working guy that thinks she is a princess, and says yes to everything she wants. The Barbie fantasy has metastasized from simple glitz and glamour to a ruthless hunger games. I am a bit suspect of the professor's clinical anthropological take on men, I feel it is a thesis paper taken to the gospel level, to push his book and specifically his book tour. Lacking from the discussion are any talk about what is being done to the education system or in government and society to remedy any of this, or whether or not his conclusions are inevitable, unwavering, or really backed-up with empirical evidence. I am sure there is a difference between income classes and dense communities such as cities and sparse ones. Anytime you segment the world into "Men" and "Women" and speak of them as different sets, opposing sets even, you end up overgeneralizing and spouting slogan-laden shock statements to get attention. Everything is "A Disaster" for the society with this guy. Another thing he said that was key was that "When Technology enters an industry it consolidates it" and that is a HUGE thing to throw out there -- without foundation -- that sounds extremely overarching and totalitarian in its effect. But is it universally true? Did the latex condom and the pill make the birth rate plunge to nothing? The post WWII birth rate was huge, despite the availability of birth control. The prevalence of VD did take a huge plunge, though. No, it had quite an effect, but that was intended and took a long long time to be developed, marketed, and adopted to current levels. Only abstinence promoters would use the argument that the pill was "A disaster" for orphanages or for lasting marriages. But he singles out "Dating Apps" as "A Disaster" for romantic relationships on that basis. I am skeptical, but still intrigued. I will probably get the book.

so your saying women want to choose a man who is above them in some category, but then turn around and complain to society about the very same men in these higher position? this sounds very odd to me

Education levels are nothing to be proud of anymore. Higher education has been so dumbed down that most degrees aren't worth the paper they're printed on. ....I have an advanced degree and taught at the University level for 20 years. It got worse and worse every year.

Here's the biggest problem in the west, young women are getting destroyed by toxic feminism and a lot of guys are just giving up because they feel like they can't win. I get it because I left the dating world for 5 years but I did find the right woman and she didn't grow up in America.

I'm really surprised anyone is seriously asking why we have a problem here. Take two children in a family. In front of both of them put all of your positive focus and attention on one. Constantly give praise and encouragement at every natural ability. Tell them they can be and do anything. For the second child constantly demonize and demoralize them. Attack every natural ability they have while constantly telling them they have no inherent value and are toxic. Do we really have to guess what the outcome will be?

Let me guess, the antagonized child who has to fight all the time and has to constantly proof itself succeeds out of spite, while the coddled child who is handled with kid gloves and told they can do what they want fails because they are too complacent and expect everything to be handed to them on a plate. /s

Many men are working trade jobs, most of which make a living. There are many unemployed people. Not just men. If women prefer a wealthy man then so be it. It's not like you're going to change them. I date women sometimes but they're robotic and boring. I prefer solitude over interacting with bs people. Some people say I have a high iq but all I care about is what I feel about myself while facing the mirror.

Baby boomers always say “work hard” a lot of people work hard and live in their cars. At this point telling younger generations they simply need to work hard to get ahead is trite and reductive
@dingfeldersmurfalot4560
@dingfeldersmurfalot4560 2 года назад
Unfortunately, most people just imitate their environment. And boomers were told exactly that, by virtually everybody no matter what situation, all their lives. So it's no surprise they pass it on to the next generations as unthinkingly as it was passed along to them as if it were a real problem solver and not just a way to get them to shut up and not look into things too deeply.

Life is uncertain, and you never know what will come around the corner. Walking with Jesus is liberating, because his plans are so much better than anything we could come up with on our own. And he does tend to work more in the background, but as a Jesus-follower living in a very dangerous and uncertain world, I have to admit that I too would be flailing about if I didn't have his Holy Spirit guiding me. I say this as someone with a neurological disability and a speech impediment. Maybe I can pray for you.

In the past I've complained a few times on message boards about how disastrous dating apps and sites have been for, well, dating. (I'm GenX so I remember when a guy actually had to *talk* to women.) Invariably I'd get responses from women saying something like, "What do you mean? Dating apps are fantastic! I met my husband on one!" Dating apps/sites are great for women, awful for men.

If you're gonna talk about young men, would probably make sense to have a young man on the panel to get their perspective. Work from home seems like the very last issue young men face, not least because those WFH jobs tend to be among the most well paid and are typically beyond those without degrees anyway.

@@drazenkasvedruzic3849 not to mention the amount of money you save on gas which is also healthier for the environment. We as a society have to realize it's a whole new world and we have to rethink how we are raising our children to think. It's not the 1950s where mawmaw and pawpaw meet at a high school or college dance, marry and spend the rest of their lives raising kids and working. That's not fulfillment in the world today...but it can absolutely still be, if we just rethink the way we define love, relationships and society as a whole. And until we start putting the average person (especially their children) first instead of corporate billionaires, none of this will ever be possible.

Literally speaking to my situation. Only thing with me is that I've never thought of picking up an AR15 and wiping out grocery stores, class rooms, nightclubs, etc....I think we know one group that commits those crimes. The part of not knowing how to speak to women: couldn't ring any more true. I Literally just deleted my tinder because of the embarrassing fails, and just an overall waste of time. Im not those women want, im just a simple go to work guy, who just found out the only girlfriend that truly loved him and truly loved her cheated on him after 6 years. I haven't had sex in over a year. Sadly today is my 29th bday and we'll be staying dry some more lol. Im not saying this proclaiming sex as the end-all be-all, but as a male, that shit is crucial for our being. I've gone to bars, only to do what Bill just said: playing on the phone. I don't have it in me to talk to women. My ex approached me (guess I'm that good looking enough). And on the job part, I agree that WFH is bad, thats why I always tell my boss that I'll pass on the opportunity and drive to office. When live in an ever growing isolated society, why add to that?? Fuck it I'll deal with traffic, idc, but I don't want to be in my room all day everyday. And I'll just end on this: it'd be really nice if I had the confidence to just go out and talk to women. Because of my lack of sex, it drives most of my thinking, which leads to bitterness, which leads to me not even attempting because I strike out all the damn time. So, this is why lonely guys never leave the house

Never talk to women when you’re thinking about sex. It’s the thing they spend every day of their lives guarding against. Get a hobby; do something that puts passion into your life. Something that challenges & stimulates you. If you don’t have one, experiment. Meet people who love what you do, and it will be easy to make friends

I agree with others comments here, don't focus on sex when approaching women. They are forced into this role on a daily basis, so it becomes the last thing they want in their personal lives. They are generally attracted to men with success because those guys aren't going to mistreat them or their future children. I would also suggest spending time with groups of people you have common ground with as well. I personally avoid certain groups of people like the plague because I've read enough human history to be able to see where they are headed. Throughout history, the loudest groups had the shortest time spans.
