Why Are My Allergies Worse This Spring?
This year, we have seen more patients who are suffering from allergies than ever before. In this short video, Dr. Gergits explains what pollens are prevalent and what is causing them to be the worse we have ever seen.
There are three pollens that are in the air together and causing allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and itchy throat. These allergens are:
1) Tree Pollen
2) Springtime Grass Pollen
3) Weeds
If you are experiencing allergy symptoms, it would be beneficial to start to use over counter medication like Claritin, Allegra or Zytrec.
You should also use Sinus Nasal Rinse twice a day or if you have been outside for a long period of time. This will help clean out your nose and reduce allergy symptoms.
