They are amazing but the second most car to be stolen. The cost to insurance has gone up massively. I think Range Rover need to bring out an EV version which will be less attractive to be stolen by organised crime. A Range Rover EV would be awesome.
P38 aside, I think a good 60% of the rep is people not maintaining them. They are relatively complex in terms of components and expensive. Therefore people try to run them on a Prius budget then trade in when it makes a noise. Engines are a mix of BMW and Ford units, but neither get the wrap if it’s an engine fault.
Yeah you could buy a Japanese car thats more reliable but they are so boring on the inside and outside, RR/LR always look classic and then become classics in years to come. The tech involved on the 4x4 and luxury interiors you will always have some glitches , hopefully over the air updates may iron out problems quicker.
I doubt it - if your car has keyless entry and drive your automatic at risk obvs they can improve the tech but how long will it take before the crooks figure it out
I have an evoque and love it esp the seats and comfy ride ( I had bmws with runlet tyres and they are harsh on the road ) but would to go slightly larger ( my wife's only 4ft 11 " so does not want to go large ) so the velar is the right size but dont like the backend and not many came with the air suspension so the RR Sports is my ideal one .
