Brings me back because as a kid, I used to enjoy building and painting the large Estes Rockets, and that is what got me into studying aerospace engineering in university.

That was very interesting, Lucas. I have always told people when you visit Thailand make some good thai friends. They can take you to places like this! A good look at thai culture and to see everyone having fun. We in the west take life much to seriously.

Looks like you guys had fun! That Royal float looked really cool. And the cosplay costumes are always enjoyable. People are so creative. I'm in the Indianapolis area and have been to GenCon, the biggest board game convention in the states...it is held here every year and there is a LOT of the cosplay/dress up stuff during that. Always fun to see. I hope the move goes smoothly!!

The rockets are the main event on this happening, the 7 years I lived in Thailand and I went to this kind of thing 99 % of the times I was alone farang there

It's ironic that Japanese Anime and Manga is going big world-wide at the same time as Western Animation/superhero and Comics are becoming so unpopular that they're losing money and closing down... I guess being 'PC' isn't what the world really wants instead of entertainment. That Motocross/Rocket Festival looked like a lot of fun!

@ comments 1) this video would not play without buffering and I tested to see if it was my internet or a RU-vid fault, but other videos playing at the same time were OK, no problems. 2) I am disappointed at your membership section because you said it was for different material and your first video for the membership was concerning hiring that large truck, which other subscribers who have been following your move could not see. I find it hard as I have subscribed almost from your first days and get left out because of memberships, which I can't afford being a UK pensioner, If I became a member of all the tubers I follow that is a large chunk each month. But my biggest disappointment is being cut off midway through your journey to new pastures.

One has to ask why foreigners would go to a place like this. I'm sure if you asked the average ex-pat resident of Pattaya or Bangkok they wouldn't show a lot of interest. No bars and girls for a start.
