So it would seem that a Funeral Director embalming a body would have to be privy of the health issues that person suffered and was afflicted with before they died. At least in order to embalm them correctly if they are going to be shown during a wake.

We do not usually know that info prior to embalming unless its something we have to know about

The reason for so many different types/colors of embalming fluid, is because there are different skin tones and health issues that need to be treated.

Are those quarts full of fluid? If so, a 150 lb body would require 12 bottles full of embalming fluid, is that correct? Do you ever mix the different type of fluids into one body or do you use one type of fluid per body, depending upon the person’s affliction before death?

The solution is 75% water in the end

Is that Enigma Ecobalm fluid from Champion any good? Curious how the au natural formula compares to the traditional embalming fluids. I suspect it’s not as good but 🤷‍♀️

You won't find these name brands at the DT. You'll have to buy a knock-off equivalent.

@@KaritheMortician no it’s not a law for aquamation, but it is a “requirement” for certain methods of interment, if I’m right?

What’s the edema fluid did is to dry/ soak up extra edema in the body and how much solution to add to remove the edema.
