I've had this sitting for over a month,... trying to get up the nerve to tear into my CUE,... After doing it today,.. can't figure out what I was so scared of!! The Instructional Video's are AWESOME and honestly was WAY easier than I thought it was going to be,.. the best part,... My new screen looks and feels like BRAND NEW!!!!!! Thanks Cuescreens!!!
Yeah, its really not too difficult as long as you take your time and have patience. The only time we hear of issues is when people ignore the instructions or videos. Thanks for the feedback!
I re watched the videos about 5 times and then started on the project. It was about 3 hours time, I might be able to cut that in half if I do another one. My CUE system works now with faster screen response instead of beeping and changing everything on the screen, plus no more spider webbing in the lower half where I couldn't even read anything. Thank you so much. 2016 CTS-V with under 17k miles, and I'm 70 Y.O. and disabled. It was that easy!
Hey , I replaced my CUE screen several weeks back . Yours works like a charm ! Next year I’m planning on replacing my CTS . My next car won’t be another Caddy !
Just installed a Cuescreen as replacement on my 2015 Cadillac Escalade. Install was very easy as I followed the help videos. The screen worked great and it saved me from having a dealer do it for $1100.
Just had this Cuescreen installed by an audio shop in my area. Screen cost $135 and installed in a hour for $235. Better than having to buy an entire unit from GM for around $1500! Also, customer service at Cuescreens very good!
I replaced the screen on my 2014 Cadillac CTS and it worked. Cuescreens provided a step by step video on how to replace it. They missed telling me to remove t he screws when removing the top panel but it did make sense. Now I will find out how long it works. But for now. It works.
Its ridiculous.. I had mone replaced 3 years ago and when I called today they conveniently had no record of it being replaced lol...the screen is delaminating as well
A couple of questions: Why does the CUE screen work for a while, if we follow the GM Hard Reset Procedure ? ... Also, you say the problem is up to 2018 models. Can we use the entire stack from the newer 2019 or later in the 2016 ATS and would it need to be programmed into the car or is it just plug & play ? ... Thanks
The touch screen can have intermittent functionality when it is going bad. Some days or hours it works fine, others it is frozen. The hard reset is a placebo that doesn't do anything to fix the issue, just wastes time. The problem affects all SRX, ATS, CTS, Escalade, ELR, XTS models. If you have a 2018+ car, or an older car that has the newer 2018+ radio installed, you need the V2018 touch screen to be compatible. You can install a center stack from any generation as long as the configuration matches. Feel free to call us 563-289-7276 to get an order in. cuescreens.com
Wife ordered your CUE screen. My local stereo shop wouldn’t replace the screen instead they wanted to swap the Cadillac stereo with aftermarket. I installed it took me a few hours to give birth to the head unit. The clips did not cooperate with me. Actual installation of the touch screen was easy and all the screw holes Lined up perfectly. I myself was worried.
@@CUESCREENS Thank you for the reply. My local stereo shop is part owned by a high school friend whom I’ve had install a few stereos, amps, and speakers in my cars over the years. The Cadillac dealer said to order screen from CueScreens or aftermarket and have them install it. He wouldn’t be able to source a screen and it would cost an arm and a leg if he was able to.
The unit in my 2016 ATS started doing the non responsive thing. My car is still under the 5 yr warranty and I will probably let the dealer do the repair this time. I do not know if GM revised the way the screens are designed. You would hope they would given the amount of failures and warranty claims. After I get it replaced, if it fails again in the future, I will give your product serious consideration. Certainly your cost is very good. How much would an installer charge to swap it for me ? I do not like messing with the way newer dashboards are designed.
Installs are usually 200 or so depending on the installer. www.cuescreens.com/product-page/oem-cadillac-cue-touchsense-replacement-touch-screen-display
Hello!. I got the symptoms described here. Non responsive screen, ,etc. My questions is, the human module interface (which is the brrain of the CUE sytem) has latest software update so it looks like is not a module issue BUT the apps has a flickering movement from left to right of the screen, pretty much when I push the Sound icon, do you think that the screen will fix this issue too? I mean, probably replace the screen when you have a non responsive screen make sense but what about if it icons do the flickering issue? I don't want to buy a screen and be stuck with the same problem, any advice?. Thank you very much.
When you say flickering- does it seem like the display is cutting out, or is it just erratic random touch response? Like a ghost is pressing the screen randomly?
@@CUESCREENS I will say both. The last description that you said is what is happening (99% when I try to press over a icon/app. I press then do not respond or just freeze. Sometimes, I press a icon then few seconds later, it shows the "red" thing as when the icon is properly pressed. The flickering issue, is pretty much when I press on the upper left corner of the screen (there is located the Sound icon like a speaker icon). The HMI module is up to dated with latest software and the weird thing is that the car has zero MIL codes. Basically, nothing is wrong with the car modules....., it is a real pain in the neck. Note: most owners with the same or similar issues, had changed the entire central stack by the dealer and the issue just dissapeared make me think that it is a screen issue related than a software from the HMI module.
@@louisb.7544 Yeah, this sounds a screen issue. I would install a gel free screen from cuescreens.com and that should fix your issues. Send me a chat message on the website for a special promo code.
2015 SRX screen non-responsive. Will a new Cue Screen resolve the problem? Is the Cue Screen just the glass or do I need to replace more? Steering wheel commands still work, just not the Touch Screen. PLease let me know what you think and I'll place my Order with you guys! Thanks ...Ron
Hi Ron, yes an upgrade gel free screen will fix the problem permanently. Order at cuescreens.com/shop, I recommend the premium touch screen as long as its the original CUE from 2015 thanks!

Thanks for Vid ! My 2013 XTS Cue is froze..56 k miles...I have back up cam display...that is a good thing for me.... I control xtm stations on dash screen with only the frew stations I had stored before this overnight freeze...thank God heater controls work from below screen controls ...Don't call Cadillac.....they send you to a so called Cadillac tec who just blows you off....don't waste your time...….they want you to go to a Cadillac dealer and get robbed by replacing unit with new one..$$$$$$..what a let down from Cadillac.....this is my 8 th Cadillac through the years and my last one.....
My screen frozen with WARNING Taking your eyes off the road too long or too often while using this system could cause a crash, resulting in injury or death to you or others. Focus your attention on driving.” The first time it did this my 2015 SXR was under warranty and the dealership replaced it with a newer model, they told me. Now, the exact same issue happened and the warranty is expired. We are looking into purchasing another unit from EBay Motors but they only have a 30 day return. There’s a Tesla unit offered that states it will fit my vehicle. Has anyone tried the Tesla unit instead of the problematic Cue Unit?
Definitely- you will be impressed with the premium touch screen, it responds 5x faster and is 3x more sensitive than the factory screen. www.cuescreens.com/product-page/oem-cadillac-cue-touchsense-replacement-touch-screen-display
