I just bought a 16’ nismo and after researching the parts that it would’ve costed to upgrade a sport model, it made a lot of sense in my case. It all depends on what you want in your car and the deal you get it for 😜

I bought a base because I tore out traction control already, welding the diff, and a lot of other modifications as this is my new drift car. So far the two events I’ve done in it, it has been amazing

You forgot two small things, the base doesn’t have the gear indicator on the gauge cluster under the RPMs showing what gear you’re in and the signal lights on the left and right front fenders (Z badges), don’t light up when you turn on your signals(or hazard lights).

getting a 370 non nismo but debating 2009,2011,2014 do you have any advice on which year to look further into?

Hi, always watch your videos, i have a 2012 Nismo that still has less than 20, 000 miles on it, have a Borla exhaust and a K & N air intake, you forgot in your comments the extra 18HP and the ECU. One thing that i recommend is the Pedal commander. Love your channel, congratulations and good luck .

bought my Z about 4 months ago. I got the sports package for 20k and has 56k miles. imo the base Z looks to plain in the rear, but i guess if your going to modify it heavy base is the way to go. I’m happy with mine. Will be doing the nismo bumpers swaps hopefully before the year :D

2017 sport base model 6spd got mine with 1,215 miles for 25 witch isn’t bad pretty much brand new

Glad you're having fun with your Z but have to say there's nothing, nothing wrong with a 2015 plus automatic Nismo Z. Yeah, definitely little pricey but a 2015 Nismo Z is still pretty rare even if they're not numbered anymore. Sad to say that Nissan isn't making a lot of them because they refuse to up the HP. If Nissan just upped the HP to 400 - 450 they'd have a car hard to beat in price and performance. Sales would definitely increase too.

I spent a year looking for the perfect 370z , found one yesterday and bought it , 2013 manual black with touring package and sport package, has gps , and it's completely stock garage kept with 70k miles

I feel that the 370z Nismo 09-14 looks so much more aggressive than the newer Nismo. To me the 09-14 bumpers flow better as well. Not to mention that the older Nismo’s have the best looking wheels to ever come on a Z. The 09-14 Nismo wheels literally look better than most aftermarket wheels on the market.

z are known for the chassis twisting, nismo are built meant for the track with additional bracing than the sport models

Gonna have to disagree with you here man. Unless you are stripping this car down and making it into a dedicated track car or project car like you are doing with the VR30 swap. You should ABSOLUTELY pay the extra dough for at least a sport package on the Z, most Z guys are probably looking for a fun cheap sports car to drive around and lightly mod for a few years and after that, they will move onto the next platform. So the difference in prices for a used Base Z vs used Sport model Z is less than what you would have to pay to upgrade a base Z.

I just bought a 2012 370 Friday. Black 6 speed with only 23000 and must say after having two 350Z’s the 370 is such a better car!

Wassup bro! For me the Nismo 2015+ wheel are more Beautiful. 👍 Also in European country we have only sport models that can be upgraded with Bose system and navigation system and the seat colors also but only on metallic paint job. Or you got the Nismo model which comes with all features. 👌

Noir as always love the video, but something you might be interested in is SEMA they've actually just built vr30tt 370z🤩. Maybe some tips to steal but really do love the nismo 370z bumpers thinking about getting the adapter kit for my 350 because it looks so dope but delivery cost from California to SA is 4 times the bumpers price 💔

Truth lol!! the base brakes are a joke. mine has 20' ruff's on it and those brakes are tiny. I bought it like that, it will be fixed soon. I got a great deal on it due to the suspension being chopped. 130 bucks to fix it. 61 k on it for 2010 base 6 speed The steering lock issue is the only thing to aggravate me but I love the car otherwise, this one was 9k all the others in the low mile range are well into 13 and up. But yeah the aftermarket is massive for these.

My 1st 370z was a base model i loved the fuck out of that car but now I own a nismo and it really is an upgrade just in daily driving I notice a big difference If you're getting a z used then definitely sport model or and nismo Because you really not saving that much money nowadays back when they was newer I could see your point
