Spectacular job putting this video together and thank you for sharing. My daughter attends college at WWU in Bellingham and I'll be riding there in 1 month and I'm stoked to ride some of the same trails. Keep up the fantastic content !
Dang that was a sick video! I seriously enjoyed watching that, its always awesome to see people enjoy the heck out of Bellingham. It makes me enjoy living here even more than I already do!
What a great edit! Saw you comment on one of my videos. I really enjoy watching the creativity of individuals on RU-vid. Great content like that and this channel won't stop growing. Good job man! Oh, and +1 for the beer can comment!!!
Thanks, Man! Super appreciate it. It was a blast to shoot and edit. I'm out with the camera right now filming the next video. Stay posted! And yeah, I'm always picking up after people's kids. :P
Thank you.. That was great narration and story. I have lived in PNW for 38 years and you will have to come back and see some of the other sites. When it is sunny, it's hands-down the coolest place to explore.
Thanks, Man! The greenbelt is a great place to cut your teeth, lots of techy stuff to session. Last week I took my Yeti down the hill of life for the first time, it was a gnarly ride!
Sweet... I recently got a Yeti SB5.5 that I would love to bomb down the Hill of Life. I've been OTB many a time going down that hill on my old Giant from University Cyclery back in the day.
Wish I knew how to add music to vids. I'm from Az and I enjoy my summers in Bham, I make vids of Bham but they'd be so much better with music. Liked seeing Bham from your perspective .
Great editing! Love the mix of music and dialogue along with the riding. I'm glad to be an earlier subscriber of thousands more to come. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next one.......
I just came across your channel and subscribed! Really cool place you were at on this video! Thanks for sharing and I'll be looking forward to following your journey!
Great video guys you're in my neck of the woods my backyard been here my whole life surprised you guys didn't go up to Alger Mountain that's where all the mountain bike riders go some good trails up there
I know this video is old, but you should really do the Cascade Loop if you haven’t done it. Make sure you are a passenger because the views are all breathtaking.
"Catch that sweet gnar!" LOL. I grew up in Lynden, now I live 2k mi away and am finally getting into MTB. What a shame all the sweet trails I missed as a kid. Will be out next summer though to shred!
I know that feeling... I lived in Colorado for 12 years and hardly touched a bike while I was there. Only got back into MTB when I moved to Austin. Not that Austin doesn't have a huge selection of single track. ;)
I used a Hero 4 Black on a gimbal and a Cellphone. THere is a reason I made a video talking about how a cell phone is all you need to start a channel. :)
First off, AWESOME video and thank you for adding the culture, the snow footage, and the Whatcom creek footage. I don't slack line but I find that more interesting that seeing the trail riding. I try to add this element of culture into my videos too, keeps episodes watchable. here is my time-lapse themed movie from Whatcom Falls I made last week, featuring the new Bicycle Pumptrack, cliff divers, and other Whatcom Creek water falls. ALSO HUGE THANK YOUs TO KONA BIKE SHOP! THEY PLUGGED MY SCOOTER TIRE LAST WEEK AFTER I GOT A FLAT LAST WEEK. THEY ARE AWESOME AT THE BELLINGHAM KONA BIKE SHOP. CHECK OUT MY channel for new content about every other day
Man... I've for sure gotten better, but only in some areas. I carry more speed down hills and through corners and started learning how to catch a little air. Going on a trip like this is great because getting knocked on your butt can really show you where your skills are at, and where you need to improve!
Trail Features I have def been put on my butt or sent over the handle bars a few times. Awesome video on how to use your phone for videos. I just need to take the time to edit. Csn you send me the link or app
Trail Features I live in Wa. And I want to get a mountain bike, I’m doing some research and getting opinions from fellow cyclists. Should I get a 27.5 or 29er. I saw that part of the video were u almost fell. I think 29er should b better 🤔??
i tried mt biking once. it is too dangerous. i hurt my arm and it hurt for over a year. it is just a dangerous thing to do . young people are foolish. just walk the damn trail.
