Almost 20 years ago my parents drove me and 3 of my mates to gethin to watch a dragon downhill race for my 13th birthday! It was pre red bull TV and televised world cups so other than the odd MBUK DVD it was the first time I ever saw propper downhill. Couldn’t believe it when I first heard that there was a full blown bikepark now where it used to be, still one of my favourite places to ride especially considering how much watching that race fuelled my love for mountain biking as a kid!
