I'm an adult and I do the same thing she did. I wear baggy clothes in my day to day life to hide my chest and body and only when I want to do I dress up in tighter fitting clothes and makeup ect. Baggy clothes are comfy and no one gives you a second glance. Whereas when I wear tighter clothes with my bigger chest I feel like people stare at me and it makes me uncomfortable cause I am an introverted person who doesn't want any attention. Lmao

I honestly don't think she was trying hard or something. She was practically a child. We all do some pretty embarrassing sh!t when we are younger. The difference is we didn't have everything recorded and put up on the internet for millions to criticise forever.
I'm small chested and I use to wear baggy shirts to make people not notice I had small boobs. I'm 34 now and still have small boobs but I learned to love my body and now love wearing crop tops and cloths that suit smaller boobs

I'm very happy you found confidence in yourself, it's a powerful and positive thing never loose that. In Billie's case, she was a minor and didn't want to be sexualized by the industry and people. I find that so wise from her for her age and still, even though she uncovered herself a bit, she still likes to conserve herself, she wants to be respected. In my case large bust and in my teens (early 2000's) I loved tight clothes and mini skirts chunky shoes and the skater boy vibe (kinda the style that we have now 2022, wow 20 years later) basically a little bit of everything. I loved it but didn't like to show my bust area because I hated the looks, made me feel uncomfortable. When I got to my 20's I was a bit more comfortable but during those years I was over weight, like obese 240lb to be exact (lot's of depression and anxieties that I went through). A similar thing happened I found my true self and fell in love with myself,also plus size was starting to be accepted and I got healthy and I reached 180lb which is still over weight for my height but I'm confident in myself but still respectful to myself, love my tight clothes but not revealing.
I think she did the same bc her boobs are huge and the fact that Hollywood sexualizes women so badly, she did the opposite that Britney did, and I think she got less backlash than Britney tho bc Britney was sexual from the start and was getting flack for it

I can relate though lol I mostly wear loose fitted clothing because I’d rather be comfortable and also because tighter shirts fit me weird. After I had my son my boobage area got big and never went down but my stomach went down to pre pregnancy. It’s like I have to wear a medium for the boobs and a small for the rest of me, but that shit doesn’t exist and tailoring everything is expensive, so, baggy clothes it is! Lol

I did it because I had large boobs at a young age and I didn't like the attention I was getting. And I honestly don't like stuff that hugs my body. Then, as I got more chunk, I did it to hide my actual curves. I don't like people knowing where my body starts and stops. And I'm still like that and I'm over 40. The grunge and skater trends were a godsend.
It was for many reasons, besides being sexualised she was also being modest girl not just showing her figure over to everybody. I miss that ngl, shes beautiful and be preserved❤
Before I got 16 I hated to use short or tight clothes bc of my lack of confidence and bc I didn't wanted grown up man's to sexualise me bc I always been told to look like a model bc of how tall, skinny I am and my long legs, slender arms and nice neck, when I was a kid it was nice to be called pretty, once you get bigger you start to freak out... I learnt with time and patience that no matter what you do, what you use, what you say people is always going to sexualise you even if you look like a muslim or if you are 7 yrs old boy, I also learnt to love my body and to not care if it fits me, what would completely strangers would say or if it looks good on me, I just use it if I like it. I had friends who at a young age had big chest and bc of that grown a## mans would say really disgusting thing's even tough they used bigger clothes just like Billie, now they are also in my same idea, they don't care anymore but it took them years, we are tired of this bs but we aren't going to hide something natural just bc of some creep. People is disgusting and sadly this world is never in the victim's team.

Remember to love yourself, For girls with small chest and wished they had bigger chest, it's not all cool because a lot of things you could wear get sexualized with big chest. And with girls with big chest, they didn't ask to be sexualized and are forced to deal with it unless they get surgery. So even with small or big chest we both have a set of problems so just love yourself ❤️❤️
Okay but the maturity and morals this girl had AS A CHILD is unbelievably admirable. Like, she already saw it from the outside perspective and now she was going to be seeing from an inside perspective and she knew that, and wanted to break the cycle of not only people sexualizing a child but also that all women in the music industry at some point are in revealing clothes or none at all because “SEX SELLS” and she wanted no part of that. Also it has to be nice when your body has weight fluctuations and the whole world can’t really see because the clothes are baggy and they can’t make remarks and comments and say hateful things to something they don’t know is happening. I’m 28 and in early high school I would wear really baggy clothes just like her because of my weight and I have a big bust as well and if I wore something even remotely tight I would get sexualized to no end by guys. I can really relate to her. Though it does make you have a bad relationship with body image. Growing up and getting out of the baggy clothes to something more revealing and tighter was hard for me. Now I still want to just put on the baggy sweat pants and that over size shirt.

I actually understand what it’s like to be here. I’m really big chested for my size to the point that my best friend jokes about me have anime boobs. I actually started dressing like her especially when I just don’t want to be sexy and don’t want to feel big. I do occasionally wear tight tops and feel good about it. But sometime I just don’t want to be seen that way and ginormous clothes are comfortable in that mood.

I left 7th grade with an A cup only to return to 8th with a C cup. My the time I made it to high school (9th), I was in a DD. My chest grew rapidly but my confidence and child mentality did not. I slept in ace bandages and training bras to keep my chest from growing and it didn't work. I was very self conscious and received a ton of unwanted attention, I get the comfort of baggage clothes.
I really don’t think it was just because she didn’t want to be sexualized, I think she’s just a thicker girl and didn’t want people constantly judging her weight. That happens way too much with celebrities and I completely understand why she’d want to do what she did.
I had the exact reason to, and certainly still struggling with this to now, My father usually looks at me inappropriate, and says inappropriate words to me, because of this I felt uncomfortable wearing normal clothes and usually wears baggy clothings, He has always been this only to “me” for like 2 years, and he knows I am uncomfortable with this but he thinks it’s funny and a joke, also I am a young minor to.
