Congress did appeasement under the name of secularism. Read about Shah Bano case and how that spiralled into the Babri masjid Demolition. Some BJP leaders definitely have problematic views about Muslims and that is definitely a concern but the BJP calls a spade a spade instead of doing appeasement. The other reason for Modi being appealing is he is not en English speaking, elite Indian. He has come from the masses and from a humble background against congress PMs who have come from the elite upper class. That way common people relate to him more.

As a sanatani and as an Indian I know shri Narendra modi is by far one of the best PM of India since our independence. Because of following reason:- 1- Policy for the betterment of the people and that policies are implemented on ground. 2- Modi removed corruption from the top level. 3- Modi is not anti muslims first of all. Modi has done far better things for muslims than any other political party. Modi gave importance to the muslims women and girls. By banning instant talaq it gives a security to the muslims women. Muslims in india are majority in minority still they get all the benefits of gov schemes. 4- Digital Infrastructure and Capital Infrastructure. 5- The national highways and expressways since last 9 years has totally changes the transportation and logistics. 6- Indian railways being indigenous building its own modern trains like vande bharat. Indian railways has put a target of 2035 to entirely modernised the Indian railway. 7- startup ecosystem, ease of doing business etc.. Modi has done a lot for India since 2014 but still there are many things that needs to be done well like education, public health infra etc.. When we say anti muslims no body is anti muslims, It is muslims who are not coping up with the other community. Europe mae dekh lo kya ho rha, US mae dekh lo the violence done by the muslims migrants.. Vaha modi nahi haena.. Congress has done good thing for India as well but they are highly corrupt and family oriented party. Main root cause of hindu muslim conflict in India post independent is congress.
