MY STORY- I'm a survivor of the 26/11 attack and I lost my brother in that attack. You know when the terrorists were killing people they were shouting Allahu akbar. It's really disgusting. I've been traumatized by Allahu akbar now. It's like a war cry to me. I was taken as a hostage in the Taj Mahal hotel along with many others and also saw one terrorist called us kafirs and told us we deserved to die and that we will be even tormented in hell. He was very satisfied to tell us that kafirs and firangis are the worst. I saw a terrorist beat an old person for crying over his dead wife. Whenever I close my eyes even now I sometimes can still see those horrific images in front of my eyes. I couldn't sleep, eat, or study for a very long time. I did so much therapy. Though I still have nightmares I'm in a much better place now. #forgive_but_never_forget
As an Indian, the current government has taken the best step by having no bilateral relations and focussing on economic self development. I hope and pray that this never changes since we are way better off. India is on the right track of being a global power house of the 21st Century.

David Headley, the main culprit behind the attacks, is the son of an ISI convenor, has been involved in many operations for the ISI, and was born to an American mother. He is currently in jail in the US. His statements and Kasab's statements have been cross verified, and on the basis of that India & US both have collectively concluded that ISI was the main perpetrator. This is why India says Pakistani establishment was behind 26/11.

But after capture of Kasab and subsequent intercepts from his communication devices, it blamed ISI and LeT. India did that based on concrete proof, which resulted in conviction of many individuals. Subsequently, India conducted many evidence gathering missions and built up a mountain of data to back it's claim and all the cases were fought by Harish Salve and his associates. That led to the demand for Hafiz Saeed but China saved him. Pakistan has never acknowledged this act. I see hundreds of Indians condemn Peshawar incident, Quetta incident, etc, but Pakistani civilians celebrate 26/11. My school held 3 minutes of silence during Peshawar incident. What did you do during 26/11? More importantly, what do you do now during 26/11? If you have nothing good to say, is it hard just to stay silent in someone else's time of grief? Why do Pakistanis have to celebrate 26/11? As for the case against Headley, it is unlikely that he will ever be released. But my advice to you is, if you have nothing good to add, just say nothing. You are defending people who are responsible for 300+ people not getting to get back to their families. Think about what you're doing for a minute and then ask yourself what's the wiser thing to do. Name a country other than India where the civilians have the power to force a right-wing majoritarian government to take back it's laws. No such other country exists in the world. This is the best example of a government of the people, for the people and by the people. Try and give me another example of any country in the world throughout history that has forced it's government to take back laws and press charges multiple times. And if you still believe that a country where people have enough power to do all that without revolting is not a democracy, then your understanding of democracy is flawed. Like I said earlier, you can say that Indian people and Pakistani people are the same, but you cannot say that Indian government and the Pakistani government are the same. I appreciate that current Indian government has banned any activity that involve Pakistan or Pakistani.
