Has to do with growth in every area. Kenyans have to be aggressive economically. In any fast growing economy, temperaments of pple change until they reach their peak. Tanzania is way behind Kenya in every sector, so you wouldn't understand, and until you start growing, y'all will go through social, economic, and political upheavals....then you'll get it.
Welcome to Kenya and Africa. I hope you guys have good intentions towards our women. Remember there are not many single mothers here because most African men provide his women and children. Also most fathers won't allow his daughters to get used by foreign men. Here in Africa we don't call the police but we call ourselves.
That’s a common media perpetuated stereotype. Just be fair and keep that same energy for the white and Chinese foreigners fathering and abandoning children over there too.
It is time for us African Americans to bring in road paving companies to improve the roads in Africa. We need to help our sister and brothers modernize Africa's infrustrature. Also we need to buy land in and develope the real estate market. Lots of white people running to buy up land in Africa. Let that sink in.
I visited Nairobi and I was amazed how much development was going on there. A very large middle class and educated nevertheless. I❤the place the landscape from the mountains to the mara-masai region. Will be returning to Mombasa in2024
Thats why i really like this young man. He is not listening to the propaganda. He came to africa to have a real idea of whats going on. Yup you got my respect @AustonHolleman

Am willing to invite you to Africa. Its always amazing to see the reaction of our brothers and sisters when they come back home and discover Africa. The propaganda lied to our brothers and sisters that their own african brothers hate them and sold them. Thats how the propaganda easily divided us. The respect that am giving to him his for that reason . Dont believe anything they says. come and check by yourself. I know many americans who never went back to the US after visiting Africa. We still have a lot of work to do in africa, but there is no way in hell that i will prefer living in a racist country. i will always prefer living with my own
First and foremost, it's more than a "gender war BS." Please research before you make such a comment. And, if you were not quietly encouraging Black American men to disrespect, and lie about their own women's image, you would have shown and addressed Black American WOMEN, as well, who are married to Kenyan men. Actions speak LOUDER than words! And, if you don't know the history or the truth, then domt say anything. This man went around defaming the image of his own Black American women, and you allowed him on this show. Where is his apology to the WOMEN of his own cultural background. Black American WOMEN are the reason for whatever success these men have had-not Kenyan women. Is that clear? So, let's get that straight right now. 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 And, the fact that you called it "BS" shows how you devalue Black American women and the issues we are trying to address within our culture and communities. 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸
And if you "love" both your brothers and sisters, start highlighting the contributions, that Black American women have made. African American men should start loving their women better. It’ll be unfortunate for them to come to Africa and do our women what they have done to theirs.
Do you have evidence that African American men have come to Africa and abuse or exploit your African women? Please give me an example of three(3) statistics from credible, noteworthy sources, not some imaginary fictional statistics you have conjured up in your head. If you were listening carefully, Austin mention that African Americans men are not interested in African women because (.a)negative stereo types about Africans, (b) African American men prefer women who are not Black. So stop the propaganda about African American men. I am not a fan of African American men because some of them tend to embrace their negative stereo type and because African American men particularly, exhibit the behavior that all other Black men outside of America are sub class to them. This is mainly because of their lack of exposure to other successful Blacks besides some Nigerians men
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Tbh, our African men may not be perfect but I would take the men of my own country a hundred times over than AA men. We are also black and if they have such negative complexes about their own black women, who's to say they will be better to us who are also black
I just gasped followed by a loud guffaw when he said he was taught we Africans all have HIV and are poor. As someone who have travelled the world due to my line of work, I can say without hesitation that there are plenty of super rich Africans in the continent and beyond. Middle class Africans in the continent actually tend to have a better standard of living compared to their middle class counterparts in the west, because most middle class people in west have to enslave themselves paying mortgages and other monthly expenses, not to mention factoring in high price of goods and lack of nuclear family support. Most, if not all middle class Africans in the continent, on the other hand own their homes (either through new money or old money - inherited from their father/grandfathers) and are not tide to a mortgage, etc. Comparing like to like, African middle classes tend to have more disposable income and savings compared to their western counterparts. And let's not even mention the super wealthy Africans in the continent. Yes, there is poverty and HIV but not the the extent it is blown out by the west.
Also, if i may add, without state benefits, Most people in Western countries would also be living in poverty, they are lucky to have something to fall back on, when they are unemployed, sick or disabled or retired. It's all about managing taxes and having a responsible government that can be held accountable. If you dig deeper into Eastern European countries, like Russia, Azerbeijan, Armenia, Romania ....there are people living in extreme poverty, i remember watching a video about poverty in Russia and seeing people, including the elderly running after a truck that brings them bread and soup. The western media will only show people living in large developed cities but never show millions of people living in villages in Europe. (France, Germany, Spain, Italy, UK, Poland are truly evenly developed and have a government benefit system) The rest of Europe, not so much.
@@jwgreen101 it's true, we have the worst living conditions in the world, but it doesn't mean the whole of Africa. Same as India, honestly i find India is worse. They even have people diving in Sewers/ sewage to unblock it as part of their normal job. You'll never see this in Africa, we'll use other means to unblock sewers. Also watch Slumdog millionaire, it's really a thing that's happening all over south-east Asia, people living in tents on top of cemeteries, but the media will never show you this.. poverty images are reserved for Africa
I’m American and I do know Austin is close in age to myself. Back then when we were in grade school that’s what they use to show us in school. I was in grade school back in the 1990’s, I’m not sure what they show or tell the kids about Africa now days.
I've been to Kenya and Tanzania. I love Kenya and the ladies are great. I like Tanzania too. Like he said, having a family would be better in Tanzania. I can't wait to go back.
He’s still young and highly concentrated on chasing skirt, but I see some maturing which will continue with age hopefully. I’m glad he’s finally traveling and experiencing his people. I wish him the best.
good job taking this young man under your wing oshay, he's coming across much more likable now I been saying if brothers are gonna passport Africa is by far the most logical way to do it - not only are the women the best, but more importantly Africa is ideal for an American BM to build himself up personally, socially, and financially as well (you will also be more welcomed there than in Asian or Latin American countries where the men are more likely to develop hostility towards you/view you as an outsider)
Depends on who you associate yourself with....Some men are already wealthy and just want to retire...They fit in well where ever they go because they were smart and used America for establishing themselves financially....I will say Africa and Asia are two of the fastest growing economies in the world you can't go wrong with either one....

Great interview! Ohshay was like don’t message me I’m not hosting no one else 😅 - Salute to Auston for his curiosity to go! Now Kenya and many other African countries are on the list for me.
Kenya has modern western conveniences and outstanding natural beauty, wildlife, and beaches. Best of both worlds. Nairobi is 5X cheaper than Zurich. 👍🏽
Of course they are it's literally a waste of time to open up a business without a family who are you supposed to hand said business over to when they pass on? That's why they're first thought is to find a mate?
This is a great interview! Auston is right when he said "the majority of black men want black women. However there's a minority black men who don't like black women(self hatred). I think it's ok to date other races, but I prioritize black and black relationships. Good move Auston, to move to Africa now. I am planning to visit the African continent in 2024.
The only reason why the proportion of black men that wants black women is the majority, is because of Africans. If this was left to black Americans alone, the majority would overwhelmingly be found to want white women. Not only to want white women, but to itself be white, period. Michael Jackson was not an anomalous and spurious manifestation; he merely was a symptom of the disease afflicts the vast majority of black Americans. If you go to the US, you can tell from the way the dress, the way the comb their hair, they way they speak in shrill and artificial tones, how badly black American men want to be white. I am not saying that it is true of any of the gentlemen on this panel. I am saying that their presence in Africa is not that far divorced from the fact that they represent a different mentality from the typical black Americans.
Sir, do you know the herstory or history of Black American women in the US? For those Black American women in the States, who do hate themselves, where did they get that from? How did those particular group of women come to hate themselves? Could it be because they tried to love on Black American men, who worshipped everyone, BUT the women of his own cultural background? Could it be because BA women stayed loyal and got NOTHING back in return, collectively? You a want to point out the effects, but not the CAUSES. What they are really running from is the MESS they made and how they tried to break the Spirits of their own women? Black American women gave, gave, and gave and not NOTHING in return. Kindly study his/herstory of Black American people before commenting. 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹 🏵

If you want to do Air B n B in Kenya, come to Nanyuki. I got a 10 acre land bordering Mt. Kenya Forrest with a great view of Mt. Kenya and we can work out on something.
If Kenya fought corruption, I can guarantee that the country would be significantly better off. Unfortunately, we have very corrupt politicians who have been embezzling billions from the public coffers since independence. They seem to pass on the baton on every regime change and never seem to fight this menace. However, Kenya is also blessed with hardworking and entrepreneurial individuals at all levels. From low-income earners to those in the highest positions, we all strive to give our best and contribute to the nation's progress.
Corruption is just a symptom of a deeper ailment. You shouldn't deal with the symptom. Rather, you deal with the root cause of that symptom which is, in this case, IMPUNITY. That's the cancer that's chocking us as Kenyans and breeding corruption and other vices.
As a person who's worked for gov and in finance, Auston's opinion is an opinion of a young person who's a tourist and is saying what he's seeing...on the surface in the few days he's landed in Africa. If he had stayed in Africa, specifically the countries he's talking about for about 30yrs, and participating in those countries, THEN I would consider his his opinion. Until then, happy touring.
The crowd that follows this man is a very different crowd to what is usually used to seeing on this channel in the comments, im learning something about passport bros and what exactly their interests and priorities are just from the comments, they seem to mostly be of the FBA crowd.
@Plausible things passport bros are blackmen who hate black women. It doesn’t matter the nationality. So that’s why Austin donations aren’t the same and they aren’t commenting like they use too. Austin is growing and he will attract the mature minded blackmen who will travel to Africa and don’t make a fool of themselves. Those men like cheap cities where they could buy flesh.

At the same time they are naive to the brutality of colonialism and how it’s impacted on humanity. I am to change education in a small Part there!
Fascinating discussion. This is my publicity stunt idea for Auston that will get him to shoot through the roof with new subscribers and fame: If he has his barber clippers with him, he should hold onto them and stay cool. Once a famous American visits an African country he's in, he should arrange to do a hair-cutting session with the person. For example, let's say Jesse Jackson visited Kenya when Auston was around. If Auston got Jesse to agree to a haircut, on camera, it would go viral. I'm just saying. 😀
I'm telling you now! I've been in Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya and Was in desert lands and the woman were gorgeous! Very little makeup or no makeup. And I was like damn! What was upsetting for myself was the language barrier. The brothers were telling me to move to Kenya and I should have.

If Austin really wants more Africa-Americans to move to Africa, he should coordinate with these countries about getting STEM professionals and Trades workers for more opportunities and living conditions. The sooner the better. Also promote use or practice Kiswahili and Arabic to integrate in that society.

If unity on the Continent is to be achieved, all 54 countries must pick one or two. It is a necessary evil and a requirement.
You can't compare any African countries or their people to any other people or country. They have different priorities and life experiences. You have to adapt their pace of life.

What makes me happy is no matter how ignorant they are about Africa, or how they degrade the African countries, it doesn't make it a reality. We know the truth and that's what matters because just because some ignorant person outside Africa thinks we all have Aids, it doesn't make it true✌
It was true over the short time I was in university in Kenya (where I grew up). A dude I knew punched me for no reason at all. I bumped into him the following day and confronted him. 18:40 There used to be lots of commercials asking for donations for Africa, those commercials showed poverty and flies. That was NOT taught in school. Of course safaris we’re shown on TV, it is exotic, interesting and fun, there was no propaganda. I've visited Tanzania twice. I'm now in Johannesburg. If you are looking for tropical weather Tanzania is the place. Also you pay alot more for top quality products in TZ. The quality and abundance of organic products is very reasonable. Hopefully I will get to Kenya this year. TZ is very, very safe.
The comparison game is not a good idea. I would rather visitors, to any region, simply state their experiences there than compare countries. Comparing has a tendency of putting down one country over another. Each country has a different experience in their development path. In addition, i don't think that visitors who starting making unilateral statements about a place after only staying in a country for just a few days or simply passing through, are being unfair to those areas or countries. You can not claim to know a country by staying a week, a month or even a year.
