I agree, as soon as the brawler released I knew it was just the warden but better in every way, this sadly kinda makes warden useless as brawler is just undoubtedly better
Another thing that brawler is better is stun immunity, although they both immune to stuns, warden while blocking the stun cannot attack in this phase, while brawler completely ignores the stun and keeps attacking.
@josardoleon6894 the warden stun is actually a lot less than that, considering it can't be stunned by a warden Lazer which ticks much faster than 6s (though tbf it isn't attacking during that time so it is basically stunned, but the warden enemy also stuns itself doing that so it sorta cancels out)
@josardoleon6894 that's because originally it did. Warden's stun block mechanic was changed in the pirate skin update where the cool down was reduced from 8 seconds to around .25 seconds (don't know the exact value but I do know it's a fraction of a second). They also gave warden a placement limit in that update and buffed its stats decently.
I also noticed that when using Brawler. His knockback punch should clearly be considered a stun. No way its intentional for the knockback to avoid the stun immunity, better be unintentional or a bug.
Egg, can you do a video covering the range flag being useless over the UAV? It gives 25% extra range (I think) whilst the UAV gives 30% extra, flying detection, hidden detection and it’s not even as rare
Well, with the fallen mode and molten mode being reworked eventually, they will be harder. Like intermediate already has 6 hp normals and speedys. It also has 18 hp slows, which is bigger than fallen. So, with the rework of fallen, fallen mode will be significantly stronger. Also, with the fallen mode rework, they will rework all the gamemodes linked to fallen. I'm not sure if they will buff the zombies, but the wave layout will surely be harder.

The thing i hate a lot about brawler, is it just makes many support/early game towers completely useless because brawler does a better job whilst being a dps tower. Ever since brawler dropped, towers like warden and gladiator and others have been suffering from power creep. Gladiators main purpose is for early game, but brawler does the exact same but just a lot better. Tds needs to stop pumping out these weekly updates, because everytime, theres either a wave of bugs or theres new op towers being introduced/reworked and other old towers are suffering from power creep. Tds is not a challenge anymore, too many overpowered gamebreaking towers are being added as well as consumables making literally any gamemode easy and probably possible to solo.
The game hasn't reworked all of the game modes yet. I think it would make sense if those gamemode got reworked to be more challenging and fun to balance with all the op tower that have been out recently
The best way to fix brawler is adding stun/knock back limit. The enemy can be knocked back only 1 times per brawler and 5 times stunned per brawler (example)
Even though warden (critical hit) does more damage than the brawler’s damage and is cheaper, brawler has better stun and range, so its just a better warden
Thats very sad dude. Im a big warden fan so him being actually useless now as soon as you get brawler is just horrible balancing. Brawler in design is just an upgraded warden. If every gem tower is gonna be "this tower but better in every way" then that stinks
When a 1250 gem tower performs better than a 4000 coin tower that you get from beating an easy mode. (Shocking right?) To fix this issue, brawler needs to be nerfed and warden shouldn't have a placement limit. (Also warden should be cheaper to max out and deal more damage)

Apparently, it's because when you start match making, the match maker tries to find players near your level but when there aren't many, the match maker rushes to find players and ends up choosing low levels
Its a fact that brawler is better than warden, it cant be an opinion. If tds was an opinionated game then why is “scout is better than military base”, for example, to be considered a wrong opinion.
Balancing for warden (my opinion) Lvl. 0 400$ Lvl. 1 200$ Lvl. 2 1200$ , can block attacks every 10 sec. Lvl. 3 every hit now provides slow for 1 sec (unstackable). Lvl. 4 Blocking a stun now is a guarantee a crit in the next hit and can be stack.
@@Polaraisc nah ik but back in 2020 accel did so bad against fast enemies litterally a level 3 accel could barley take out Fallen spam so the game was less reliant on accel cause of rof so people would choose to use ranger or gold mini on Fallen sometimes
with other towers they have their advantages mini has no limit and better early game ranger has stun immunity and range engi is a jack of all trades but cant be buffed turret has huge range and immunity to souls you have a reason to pick another tower over accel brawler vs warden theres no reason to pick warden because brawler bypasses no stun and does infinitely more dps
brawler should be nerfed a melee tower should NOT do so much for such little cost the only downside this tower has is early game swarm and swarm in general (even then, you'd still be able to easily max them out to the point where it's not an issue), but even then, you can place 10 of them, and since each one is 450, you're basically not gonna have to worry about anything when having him equipped
@@hadijahabutazil9132 u haven't seen speedrun aren't u basically use early game tower that can speedrun like gladiator or shotgunner then u use warden for the 20-ish and then just spam max warden it was the meta for speedrun molten
Brawler is not only better than warden in almost every way, but Brawler is arguably better than accel, which is insane and I think they should nerf Brawler and increase it's cost and buff warden
@@reetusbeetusGolden Juggernaut is only truly broken in solo Expert. (And tbf, solo is VERY unbalanced in TDX. The cash gain is simply too high.) It's somewhat fair for Endless mode, because without it you would get destroyed past wave 130. Not to mantion the amount of enemies with laser resistance. And it's somewhat balanced in quad Expert due to the severly decreased cash gain.
As for Elite mode and below, regular Juggernaut is simply better. Thanks to the fact that there are far less armored enemies in Intermediate than Expert and the fact that Juggernaut has much better CE than it's golden variant.
Okay, I’m just going to say this: Acceletator is too OP. The mechanics of accelerator do nothing to the overall performance. Yes, the mechanics alongside the RoF bug are the main reasons accelerator deals ~285 instead of ~500 DPS, that is true. But then people say that because of these mechanics, accelerator sucks against fast enemies. I tried solo fallen with accelerator as the only DPS for late game. Even when a warden STUNNED my towers, no errors leaked (I even got to wave 40 without any micro). So, not only does this prove that accelerator’s mechanics do not make it suck against fast enemies, it also proves that its mechanics do not affect the overall performance, as it will still annihilate EVERYTHING, whether fast or slow. And that’s the problem. It’s a tower that deals so much DPS, but there are PRACTICALLY NO CONS. It doesn’t struggle against fast enemies, nor does it struggle against enemies that can stun. And please, if you’re really worried about stuns, then bring medic, it’s much simpler for all of us.
There was this time where the devs made the DPS 208. I thought it was bad balancing, but now, I’m starting to see the bigger picture. Even with its "limiting" mechanics, accelerator is no different from a tower like minigunner; just spam it & you win. So they tried nerfing the DPS, so that it wouldn’t make the game a one-tower meta. But the players couldn’t stand OP towers being nerfed… like they always have.
The cons of Accelerator is that it doesn't get fully affected by Coa Boost and Damage buffs because all it does is make filling his hypercharge much faster. I think Accels goal is having quick bursts of dps and decent cc then lock on a slow boss.
