@Kian Kellen I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@@nasreenakhuda idk about that bud I know that breathing through your mouth changes your face structure, here is a vid: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ghLhnxXh9Tw.html
@@Noonixxx hey a youtube doctor said me that if we mouth breath after age 12 our face will not get longer in size! Because after age 12 the mouth breathing effects will stop!! Is this true? Pls reply..
@@nasreenakhuda um I’m not sure...cuz I’m not a doctor lol but I think you should do more research about it, but either way breathing from your nose is better
I was a mouth breather for many years due to chronic hay fever. Have been doing the nasal breathing for a couple of weeks. Think I am sleeping better than I have ever done, although to be fair I didn’t sleep badly. Notice I am more focussed on what is going on now and feel mentally sharper and I am in my eighties. Never too late to learn.
I have done nose breathing and mewing since i was 9 after my friend told me to swallow air as a joke right before going to a friends party. So my stomach hurt at the party and after that i have mainly breathed through my nose and my tongue is pressing the roof of my mounth so there's less air in my mouth. I'm 36 now, so for 25 years i have been subconciously afraid to swallow air thanks to my idiot friend :)
Surprised to see Dr Marc on youtube 😅 , this doc saved my life after a string of failed ENT doctors visits,, no medications, no surgery , just logical lifestyle tips and I was up and running like a V8 ... 👍👊
How are you doing now? I suggest pinching your nose and walk as much as you can. Repeat 5 times and your nose will be unblocked and keep this up and eventually you will be nose breathing
Try using steam! Boil water and pour into a bowl. Get a towel and place on the back of your head and over the bowl, creating an enclosed area and see the steam can help open up your pathways. Cheers
You need to fix the block First. Believe me. It's changed me for the Better. I don't snore any more. I feel more energised. My eyes aren't sticky in the morning. Nose breathing filters and warms the air. It gives us the amount of air we need. It is good for teeth health too. No bacterial gets in
It's hard at first, but as days go by, your nose adapts very quickly and you become far more efficient at taking in oxygen. And it's a fact that you do take in higher quality oxygen through your nose, even taking account that it's possible to get more air through your mouth.
Sinus surgery and procedures are necessary for some people---but it is serious and risky business. Any doctor that truly cares about the patient's well-being will try EVERYTHING else before surgery. You could end up with terrible complications, such as Trigeminal Neuralgia or nerve damage. Do research. Make sure you have really weighed all the options before committing to surgery. The nasal turbinates are an especially dangerous area, as damage to that area can cause Empty Nose Syndrome, which can make the person feel as if they are suffocating.
Other than ppl who have a condition preventing breathing through the nose I've always assumed nose breathing was common sense. I mean honestly. Isn't being called a mouth breather an insult intended to indicate a lack of Intelligence? As a child I always kept my mouth closed when there was a bad smell. My thinking was that if it has a bad smell the last thing I want is to taste it.
Hi, yes all that you have written makes sense. By breathing through the mouth: there are no functions of mouth in terms of breathing (there is no filtration, there is very little Nitric Oxide, there is very little humidification, very little warming) - your mouth is not for breathing and it’s not for breathing during physical exercise either. On the other hand, when you breathe through your nose - the oxygen uptake in the blood is about 10% higher, when you are breathing through your nose your mind is calmer, and even athletes who breathe through their nose during physical exercises, they are more likely to enter the flow state).
Great lecture, mate. Turn off the bloody record player, though, please. Where would you have your listeners' attention? Otherwise this was clear, articulate and instructional. Thanks.
It’s a miracle created by Yeshua. When God created Adam, the original Hebrew context explains He breathed into Adam’s nostrils - not his mouth👃 so it makes sense that breathing through our nasal passages has such a profound effect.
When meditating or training; Why do they always say to breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth? Why isn't it the other way around? My sinuses always get super dry if breathing that way (and to be honest even when only doing nose breathing) so I've always breathed in through the mouth and out through the nose.
Those hairs in your nostrils are an efficient filter for particulants that will pass unimpeded through your mouth, throat, and lungs where they can do some damage.
right now tryng to breath thorugh the nose but the nose so blocked that so little air comes through i begin to feel weak, dizzy that i have to breathe thorugh mouth
Hi @GabrielOliveira-qj4bo Have you tried this nose unblocking exercise? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tgmKIwUqhkg.html It's a very good way to unblock the nose. Remember to keep breathing through the nose and don't mouth breathe or your nose will block again.
I've always breathed through my mouth because I thought it was better. I have low RBC's and feel fatigued often. I wonder if breathing through my nose could help with this?
Hi @thinkblue8089 We do NOT believe that breathing through the mouth is better. In fact there is a lot of scientific evidence to suggest that is one of the major health issues facing us today. Mouth breathing contributes to worsening asthma, sleep apnea, concentration, focus and much more. Mouth breathing at night can contribute to lowered cognitive function and can negatively affect sleep patterns contributing to fatigue. Nose breathing can help improve blood oxygen levels, mood, reduce fatigue and asthma symptoms to name just a few.
Real question though... How do you inhale with nose without the air pipe in mouth blocked by your tongue...... My nose doesn't work that way and I would just stop breathing and eventually gag.....
Hi Adam, we have never found this correlation between slow breathing and laziness / procrastination. This is not something we have come across before, and we don’t think the two can be linked. You may experience feelings of relaxation, however, as the para sympathetic system is activated.
@@Fearlesskash Not a flying magic person who contradicts proven science. But you don't have to believe me, everyone should be allowed to have their own beliefs.
Hello am from Africa last time they told me that there blockage of the left nostril, nasal septum deviated to the left side, both inferior nasal turbinated are hypertrophied and left nasal polp Am so stressed because I can't sleep well at night please tell me if you can help me am not comfortable all the time
Don't worry be happy. If you want to research and consult expert advice and training .. There are ways of significantly RESTORING the natural function which may have atrophied.
You could start with taping your mouth shut for periods of time to force yourself to nose-breathe, eventually leading to taping your mouth shut at night, which will help you sleep so much better! The more you force your body to do it, the more your body will get used to to it and do it automatically. 🙂
Don't worry of you can't breathe from both sides of your noise ... Becauce you can't breathe from both of them at the same time if you are running you will breathe from the left side and if you are relaxed you will breathe from the right side😳✨
Kyo16y I don't think that's entirely true, you're supposed to be able to breathe through both at the same time however your nostrils alternate throughout the day as to which one intakes more oxygen
