My husband and I had a claim in Montana and loved it, but we had to relocate to Minnesota to care for his parents. Then I got very sick and was in a coma on life support not expected to survive, I did survive, but though I am doing well now, I never regained my strength back in my legs. I never lost my love of panning, so when I can I buy pay dirt and pan at my kitchen table. I still love it as much as always and I thank the vendors that make it possible for me to purchase their product. Great video....God bless
Hi Lynn, I'm sorry to hear of your ordeal, but even though you lost the strength in your legs, it sounds like you never lost strength of mind. Where there's a will, there's a way... I think you'll find a way to get back on creek in Montana and until then, keep having fun panning at home. Thanks for watching.
Pay dirt is GREAT when everything is iced over at the rivers and your getting the itch to get out. Thanks for posting and, thanks for serving our Nation, you and your family. I'm subscribing for sure.
The casino analogy is spot on people don't go there to win, winning is a bonus, but they know they will be spending money on the experience. Well the ones with common sense realize this.
Very well said. I'm not much of a gambler but I have gone to a few casinos and dropped a few coins just to have some fun. That's the real point that you made so well. Thanks!
This has to be the single most unintelligent thing I've ever heard in my life. Boy do you have things backwards. I feel so sorry for your poor excuse for an existence. There's a sucker born every minute but your kind of stupid is a rarity.
I really enjoyed your video, especially how you took your time. This is what paydirt is all about: just a relaxing activity you can do on a lazy sunday. It's not about making money, but finding gold is always fun! Subscribed :)
My friend, you are absolutely right. Too many people argue about the value of the gold you recover, your ROI, but few take a moment to think of the value of your enjoyment. Thank you for stopping by!
Cool video...new sub! The exact reason why I purchase paydirt sometimes. It’s fun to pan something different and I liked the casino reference haha! Cheers from Oregon ✌️
Thanks Derek, it's good to know that there are people who understand that buying paydirt is like buying an ice cream cone... you do it because you like it. Except with paydirt you get part of your money back and you can dig a bucket of dirt, toss that gold in it, and pan it all over again. I'm planning on getting some new content posted pretty soon, it's been quite a while since my last video as I've been rather tied up... I'll post a complete list of excuses with the video. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for your service, and the video, nice job. I also bought the Lynch mining black label to try out. Most of the gold found in my area is small to flour, and wondered if I was finishing right. So purchased two jars of Black Label. Very slow to ship, but showed up. From what I've researched they had the better ROI but again, verrrrrry slow customer service. What a treat to pan more color than I'd find in several days of work. I wouldn't buy on a regular basis to make money, but a treat in the frozen season or to refine panning skills. Did one jar, one tablespoon at a time, as it was mostly black sand. Definitely need to use jet dry. Got 1.15 GM on guaranteed 1GM jar. 2nd jar I used a magnet on the dry stuff. Panned out the remainder and got .84gm. Panned out the magnet load and another .23gm for a 1.07gm total. So using the magnet showed I could have lost some, as you state in your video. I'll run the tailings through my sluice to see if any was missed. Didn't get the exercise I would have working for this gold, but it was instant gratification. Affirmed my panning techniques. Thanks for posting a great informative video!
You sum it up quite succinctly Doug. I too get small to flour gold in my area and panning those thin flakes was a different kind of experience. Finding the pickers was also different. The black sand... well it's the bane of placer miners and that never changes. I'm headed out to the stream today to go and play, the water is high but I don't let that stop me. Good luck to you as you kick off your mining season. Thank you for the kind words friend and I'm glad you stopped by.
Sorry about the delay in responding, I've had a devil of a time connecting to this account since my hard drive crashed. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I hope to have some new content up before long.
Some very good tips! I've been being a little too aggressive with the side to side motion and probably throwing that gold all over the pan. Wasn't wanting to do any panning today but now I'm gonna have to bust out a bag of dirt lol. Thanks for the great tips!
I have a little saying... if you're not losing gold, you're not panning. It's hard to be too aggressive, not impossible, but not easy. I definitely pan more aggressively out on the creek than I did with this paydirt. One of the things I learned by doing this paydirt was that gold from different places can act differently in your pan. The flakes in the paydirt from Arizona were bigger and thinner than the fine stuff I get here in Wyoming and therefor had an even greater tendency to want to float off. When you pan the same area for a while you get a feel for how it will act in your pan and will naturally adjust your technique to compensate. Sorry it took so long to respond... I spend far too much time working and not enough on the fun stuff.
Yeah, their shipping is horrible. Been over 2 weeks. But they usually have the best reviews otherwise. If they got their shipping squared away, they seem like they would dominate the market.
I know right? I have to admit I want to pan every day. I'm working on my little homemade highbanker and I have 4 buckets of paydirt that I dug just before everything froze up for good to try it out with. I can't wait to get that baby finished up and spend a weekend running dirt through it and finding out just how much gold I have in those 4 buckets. I'll do a video on it when I get 'er runnin. Thanks for stopping by.
It was most assuredly a learning experience. I thought I knew more than I knew and when I get away from home to prospect, I will probably save gold I might have otherwise lost because of this lesson. Thanks for your reviews by the way, it was due to your review that I chose Lynch's Black Label and was not disappointed.
GoldPayDirtReviews.com that is very true someday I'm going to buy me a Placer claim and put my pay during eBay $10 ounce of gold Cube concentrates sounds like a good plan
I don't know, I've watched some paydirt videos thinking about buying. But I have went against the idea. I rather buy gold, I do understand the fun of the hunt because I still coinroll hunt. But I also think of precious metals as an investment. The pay dirt risk/reward isn't there for me.
As an investment you'd be better off just buying gold coins because they are usually certified for gold content. Gold from paydirt does contain impurities in varying amounts from different locations if gold panning doesn't interest you then I would definitely go with investment gold but be careful to be sure you are dealing with a reputable broker. Thanks for watching.
Great video and enjoyed it my 2nd lynch mining black label jar will be here tomarro the first one was hard to work threw great company but yes the shipping is long and usually late
I found the same thing with the shipping but I was prepared for it since Dylan at GoldPayDirtReviews had warned of it. I just went into it with patience, knowing that it would take a while to ship, and had confidence that it would be worth it based on Dylan's review. He was right. It was more of a challenge to pan than I thought it would be since I don't get larger, flat, foil thin pieces of gold around here. The black sand was much larger too. We have TONS of black sand here but it's ground up pretty fine, just like the gold. Thanks Nick.
l live in Kingman AZ & have purchased gold from lynch before, and got anywhere from 65 to 80+% return on investment (& as almost always in AZ, aLOT of black sand). Before my (medical) retirement, I used to prospect out around quartzite & Dolan Springs every spring and/or fall. After the accident, I couldn't do my hobby anymore. But I still craved pulling color outa my pan. So buying paydirt is my only option. When I pan, l use my magnet when the dirt is dry, then use it again on the sand. l've never been able to find any residue gold in my sands ( l still keep 'em anyway in case l ever get a miller table). Just a suggestion...
There are some great mobility machines out these days, I would hope that maybe one might be able to get you out there on the gold. It's gotta be tough to contend with, but technology has triumphed over some pretty difficult circumstances. Good luck to you!
@@liveyourwyomingadventure9254 thnx 4 reading me, but @ $800+ mo. "retirement" (read 'disabled'), those devices you suggest would require many, many months w/o eating to aquire the tech. However, l can still have some fun w/'not quite ripoff' paydirt... Good Luck & Well Wishes, Scott Free
If you enjoyed it, it's worthwhile. But i imagine Lynch have a huge pile of dirt that they're constantly disrupting. It would make sense the good dirt is at the bottom of the pile..Plus.the fact they guarantee 1% tells me it's planted. Is the Black Label stuff the floor sweepings?
I don't think you can buy paydirt with a guarantee of gold that isn't "manufactured" but that's okay. The differences between Arizona gold and Wyoming gold taught me a lesson in prospecting. The Black Label is a reference to the fact that it's mostly black sand concentrates that your getting. Black sand is the bane of gold miners. I have some unguaranteed paydirt that I dug before the ground froze up for good that I will be using to test the mini highbanker that I'm building. I will be making a video on that before too long. Thanks for looking in.
I've been considering buying a claim in Idaho where I live but I ain't rich but the area!is great. I don't trust the sellers but I know the area, I don't mind packing in my gear 5 miles to get there. I'd like to camp and really enjoy the experience but my wife and friends that no I'm insane. Am I because I'm not exactly looking to make a profit?
There is plenty of gold on public lands in Idaho. Are you crazy to chase it?? Not even a bit. You're not chasing riches, you're chasing a good time and it sounds like you find it every time... that is the real payoff. Claims can be tricky and should thoroughly researched and sampled on site before deciding to buy... besides, is there public land above or below the claim (I'm assuming the claim is a placer claim). Whether you're working a claim or public lands, the payoff is the same either way... hours and hours of relaxation on a beautiful stream looking for something valuable that is hiding somewhere waiting to be found. That's what I call fun. I think I might have to question the sanity of your wife and friends if they don't like fun! To each their own I guess... thanks for stopping by.
It's more than 50%, but you're not too far off. If you take the value at market price for 24k gold then you come close to 100% return on investment, but the problem is that it's not 24k. Natural gold never is. It's usually right around 16k - 18k so that's where the paydirt sellers make their money. They can sell unrefined gold for 24k price. But it's one of those things that if you've never held a gold pan and turned up gold in it, you'll have a hard time understanding. It's nothing I would do on a regular basis, but every great once in a while it's kinda cool to play with.
Have you ever panned for gold before? A lot of folks knock paydirt because you're buying gold for a bit more than it's worth, but they don't quite understand the entertainment value. It's good enough to learn to how to pan gold, then when you head outdoors and manage to find the right place, you'll turn up gold in your pan that you found and dug yourself... the gold bug bites and you get gold fever. It is the thrill of the chase, the quest, the pursuit, and the reward that will keep you going... having fun all the way along.
Truly shocking! LOL The only shock I found was the behavior of the gold for the size. I get really fine gold here at home and I figured that this stuff would be easy breezy... some of it was... some of it wasn't. Maybe it is a shock to find out that you're not as good as you thought you were. Thanks for watching.
Hey umm why are you washing dirt for ... Jkjk im from Massachusettes , so I never planned for gold before . It sure makes a great Christmas gift . Speaking of which I have gotten lucky , with some nice pickers you guys call them . You southern folks are true pros to panning for gold
Actually more like Western folks. Not that there's no gold in the South, the Appalachians have some very good gold in places. I just wanted to try panning some coarse gold rather than the fine stuff I find here in Wyoming.
Even during the prospecting season when pickings get slim and you're wanting to see some real nice gold, paydirt is sort of like a little treat. It's kinda like sneaking a couple of cookies from the jar before dinner.
Actually there aren't that many states that don't have gold somewhere within them. I lived in Michigan once upon a time and thought there was no gold... I was wrong. No matter which state you live in, research is the first step in prospecting. I don't think Florida has any natural gold, but the gold coast is located there thanks to the Spaniards. A weekend outing can probably get you somewhere not too distant where there is gold to be found. Buying paydirt will definitely get you gold, but the real reward is hunting for and finding it yourself. It's the thrill of the chase.
Cool video bud. I decided to post to let you know ahead of time that no matter how great your videos are & the good, happy, pos+ intent. There will always be rude, nasty, evil people out there trying to knock you down. Your prolly wondering where'd this comment come from?! You'll see what I mean as time continues. May I suggest 1 tiny lil thing? No, lol I wasn't gonna remind you Jesus loves you lol even though it's true lol. My comment/suggestion is this. As your reading comments to respond to. If you start to read some life sucking energy leach. Don't even bother to read the rest of there comment if you see it getting stupid or rude. Definitely don't respond. Like ever never. Just suggestions. Just stay pos+
Good advice friend! I'm a big believer in the right to free speech but I wouldn't invite a jerk in to my home and I won't have trolls trying to ruin the channel. When people decide to get vulgar I just "click click" and ban them from the channel. I'm always open to constructive criticisms, as long as people are trying to share knowledge and not trying to prop up their own weak self images by knocking down others. And for the record... I love Jesus too. I'm glad you stopped by, thanks for watching and for your words of kindness.
If the money is all you're looking for, you just buy gold coins and call it good. But if you want to play with your gold for the sake of fun, then why not?
Hey there Im from holland i try to buy paydirt but i cant buy it from ebay 😔😓.is there anybody who knows where i can buy it onli ne but not by mastercard !just normal card☺?
You can buy directly from Lynch Mining at their website: www.paydirtshop.com/ Lynch Mining can be a bit slow to ship but they are reputable and dependable.
If it wasn't real gold I believe I'd have to drive down to Arizona and bust someone's kneecaps! In truth, gold has certain properties which make it fairly easy to determine whether it's gold or not. But I still have a hammer in my car for those kneecaps!!! :-)
You're right about that. They are getting spot price plus just a little more but spot price is for 24k pure gold, not natural gold which contains some impurities. They are definitely not losing or they wouldn't be in business for long. They're reasonable though and it was worth paying a little to gain the experience and have gold from another place to compare to what I get here because they are definitely not the same and they don't even pan out the same. And it's fun too but I wouldn't do it all the time... not when I can go out and find my own. Thanks for watching.
That is true, one always has to do the homework to be sure they are buying paydirt from a reputable seller. There are quite a few reviewer channels on RU-vid who provide excellent guidance. Thanks for stopping by.
Yup ... I love to see how y'all do the panning out of the dirt , I get so sloppy sometimes. But I still have the same pay dirt from last month and I'm still finding tiny pieces of gold . So it's fun . I hope most of you will give it a try someday
Hi Ruchi, I got 1.35 grams of gold worth about $58 and I paid about $68 so I lost about $10 but I don't really consider it a loss. I guess you could say that I paid about $10 for the experience of panning some different gold and the enjoyment of it. I felt that it was worth it.
Since you'll get back a good portion of your investment in gold, assuming you sell the gold, you're not spending $70 in the end but more like $20. To satisfy curiosity, to learn a thing or two, and to just have some fun... yes it's worth it. If you don't sell the gold then you've got something to show friends who will be rather curious themselves. I don't regret doing it at all.
Well it's worth it , like he said I bought it and it's fun .I'd say it's very relaxing experience. Take your time panning for gold . You might get lucky . It took me days even months . It's easy to get addicted so be careful .
Depends on where you've been walking. If you were walking through the gold streams of California, who knows, there might just be a spec of gold stuck to your shoe. Gold is where you find it and if I get back most of my money in gold and have fun in the process, then I've spent no more than a ticket to a movie, and considerably less than a trip to an amusement park. It's just fun to do.
Why is my way a joke? Ever see Jeff Williams take the black sand out of the gold by panning it out? Me neither. I can see that I definitely need to make a field panning video.
