I grow up in China in 80s. Back then, what we hear from the government is "We are very very very poor, compared with USA, Japan, and EU"... nowadays, let's be honest, India is a dirt poor country, but everyday Modi is telling "We are so rich, advanced, one of the strongest country in the world!! "

As Chinese, we don't want to rule Indians or any foreigners, Don’t think that we want to rule the entire world just because the Western media says we want to rule Taiwan. The PRC and ROC are still in a state of truce in the civil war today. We and India are not civil war structures, so we never wanted to rule Indians or any foreigners, it will be big burden for us. Remember, we don't even want to rule Koreans or Vietnamese, like we completely withdrew our troops after the Korean War and Vietnam War, The United States still maintains a large military presence in South Korea not us, so why do we want to rule non-Confucian, non-Mongoloid race? South Asians and East Asians are very different racially and culturall, there will be very serious conflict if we rule them even with good intention, Moreover, it took the CCP 40 years to completely eliminate extreme poverty in China. During this period, do you know how many grassroots officials died on the road to poverty alleviation? I don’t think any CCP official would want to go through this for another 1.4 billion people again. But if you say that China's system may allow India to succeed, then Indians themselves should support the Naxalite-Maoist revolution, This is the awakening of the exploited farmers at the bottom of India, and we can't do much to help.

I just finished a month-long trip to China. I went to Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Lanzhou, Urumqi, Lijiang and other cities. I saw super modern, clean and well organized megacities. I also saw beautiful grasslands, forests, snow-capped mountains, lakes, deserts and canyons like fairy tales. I have to say that this trip was really great. China's infrastructure is first-class, the scenery is first-class, and public transportation (especially high-speed rail) is top-notch. The food is delicious and the people are friendly. In a month, I didn't see homeless people, drug addicts and alcoholics. Although there are often vendors in scenic spots selling us overpriced and useless products, it's harmless. The level of public safety in the city is top-notch. Because of the time difference, we couldn't sleep at night, so we often explored the city at midnight. Unexpectedly, many shops on the street were still open at midnight, and single young women wearing cool clothes walking on the street at night were everywhere. I must praise China's public transportation and safety. Fast, clean and punctual public transportation really made our trip very calm and very convenient to go anywhere. The safe environment made our trip without anxiety about danger. China is so huge that one month is not enough for us to explore it in depth. My wife and I will definitely visit again in the future.
@aarthirajaraman7453
@aarthirajaraman7453 Месяц назад
What do you expect when all the druggies, impoverished and alcoholics are hidden away from the people. China is miles ahead of us easily, it's been an open economy since 1976 and has had a straightforward, no nonsense government that works for the people, until now, our government was to busy squabbling on some dumb topic or the other though in the last 10 years, Modi has shut off a lot of the BS and pumped life into the economy, India is even being talked about like this because of Modi though he also has his flaws. Some plans are poorly executed like demonetization or Ram Mandir, the un needed religious hoobla and refusal to accept Islam, India is a secular state where people regardless of religion can live, not be persecuted.

India's population is 1.45 billion, while the total population of Europe, with more than 45 countries, is about 740 million. Compared to India, China is a highly homogeneous country with 90% Han Chinese population and 80% of the population speaks the same language, Mandarin. The most spoken language in India is Hindi, spoken by only 43% of the population, and this includes dialects like haryanvi, Bhojpuri. Standard Hindi is spoken by only 27% of the population. And we talk about Vandebharat with bad workmanship and design. Earlier we had program for Super computer, and we did it no one boasted. Now no scientific temper. Still our street foods are unhygienic our unconventional medicines kill many. Just building roads and malls will not develop India. We are strong in Agriculture, we need to technically move farward. India not only puts hurdles in the way of foreign investment they now also are taxing out of the 1.5 billion people the middle income 3% of eligible income tax base at the rate of 30%. So all the highly skilled high earners are leaving India for a better quality of life. The govt taxes like the Europeans but provides facilities like the Ugandans. Probably worse than Ugandans no offense to Uganda. Worst air quality, worst hygiene, no or shit public healthcare, overflowing public transport system, corrupt broken infrastructure, power cuts, water shortage, more than 10% inflation in urban areas while you play almost 45% taxes on all your income. If you want to start a business, pay a corporate tax of 25% and other kickbacks to local politicians. Its a dog eat dog dystopia. The government just cares about the GDP growth not the GDP per capita growth, the former can be flaunted in front of uneducated, unemployable, hyper emotional, hyper religious voters. I wonder how everything is still working and India is still growing.

I am from Europe - I read very often online - many Indians complaining about taxes, many even leaving their country because of taxes. I have checked the facts - Indians pay FAR LESS taxes than Europeans. Most Indians were not paying taxes in the past (taxes that they should have been paying) - because of the unorganized economy and cash transactions. Now all that is changing and Indians are feeling the taxes. In fact, many more Indians should be paying taxes. The other issue is attitude - Europeans are taxed heavily - and we KNOW it. Yes, we choose to pay taxes so that the country can function. There is corruption here also. Things need to improve here also. Running away to other countries is not a solution - you will be taxed there as well.

But its deep rooted Hindu nationalism and caste system is being downplayed by the West and Indian leadership thinks as long as the west is ignoring this problems every thing is okayed. Indian general elections are no different from African elections of coercion, fear, intimidation and corruption. The Chinese on the other hand are being demonized by the same West that the CWP is hindering freedom of expression and the people are in bondage, wether the west likes it or not the Chinese doesnt need any democratic lecture because this is a nation of more than 6000 years civilization and it has to follow its own model that's fit its aspirations and it is working to the chagrin of the west. India on the other hand is living on the illusion that it is one bride the west cherished all the times.

India can't compete with China because most Indian intellects are educated in the west ideologies, and therefore tends to think in terms of short term gains while ignoring long term pains. Democracy in India has also caused economic progress on a mode of two steps forward, but one step backwards symdrone, given the when opposition parties gain political power, they invariably reverse the economic policies of the previous government. More importantly, the Indian Caste system has directly deprived India of at least 800 million rural poors of their abilities to contribute meaningfully to India's future endeavors.

During 2-3 years (GYES) the allowance is very low but mothers can still stay at home.

Do you know state level Foundries are there. They can give the training but people are not willing to take that because their stipend is meagre 5000 only After that, job is not guaranteed We need to urgently fix the syllabus which is quite outdated Not even practical and also need Lot of changes in education system and remove the reservation system Only merit can prevail in the education And also, government have to explore alternate educ And they have to advertise all the sectors which currently India requires and what type of jobs it will create in this industries and what type of skill set it needed, and what type of courses we have to do to get the jobs Do you know we have a lot of industries which require specialist but we dont have We are using patchwork mechanisms to fulfil that rules Everyone doing the computer science or medical the shiny things but no one is doing this type of specialist courses I do not blame them. They do not get much publicity or any institute specialisation And our parents also always pushes like a sheephead for one thing Now a days, parents are slowly realising, but still, I would blame the our parents for some things which they dont know because of Govt did not publicised what they are needed

Well, sorry to enlighten you, but in some areas, the economy is basically that, a zero sum game! Don't believe me? For example look at trade, import vs. export: You can only export so much as others import from you, that's exactly why some complain over countries with a high trade surplus. Because if your own country is basically "forced" to import a bigger amount of goods (or a bigger amount of more expensive goods) than it's exporting, it's very likely that the financial budget of said country might be inbalanced, aka getting into debt (it's a tad more complicated because it also depends on the strength of the involved currencies in the exchange and also how much the government is spending on other parts in the budget, like social security, health, infrastructure etc.). But yeah, depending on the amount of inflation/deflation and the growth of the country the amount of money a country has got can increase, decrease or stagnate. Real economic growth is more less only accesible if the companies in your country get more efficient in prodution or services by either cutting cost (energy, ressources) or increasing the amount of work one employee can do in his/her time at work, a bigger market share or something else is no real growth as it might be just temporary (it's also in detriment to the competing company, aka a zero sum game)

Because China is an export oriented economy, whereas India is a services based economy. The good thing about export oriented economies is they can provide jobs to large swaths of people, whereas IT services only creates jobs for the educated upper class. And in order for you to have a strong export economy, you need to have infrastructure to get your products to port to be exported. Because China has a strong central government, they can build roads, infrastructure, ports, electric grids, power plants, sewage systems with very little impediment. India has too many different parties to appease at the federal and local lvl before they start building due to its democratic system. With good infrastructure and a large willing labour force, foreign investors and local entrepreneurs were more willing to set up factories in China. This partially explains why India's economy has lagged China's.

So what better way to prove this narrative than at the world's largest sporting event (2024 Paris Olympics). It’s the perfect opportunity for India to showcase their country's progress and human development. All of China’s finest athletes will be there, as well as India’s best, competing alongside the world’s greatest at the highest level. The event will be broadcast globally, with eyes focus on India and China as they compete. So, did India easily win as they claimed they would? Of course not-India lost to China, 0-40. I guess Bollywood and their narratives are not realities after all. 🤭😅🤣😂

Truth is India is a pure dichotomy. And it’s apparent in every sphere. Rich and poor, healthy and diseased, progressive and conservative. I find this video quite prejudicial toward India. I mean aren’t Indians supposed to resentful toward their former colonizers, should we thank the British for enslaving us and looting all our wealth?? India has a richer history, greater historical wealth and a great amount of soft power for millennia versus Britain. We didn’t need to travel the globe and loot hundreds of nations , enslave them in order to become wealthy. There are plenty of negatives to report about India, but there is enough positive news as well. India’s renewable growth path, India’s increasing contribution to world trade(yes it’s small but it is growing). And a lot of western media forget India’s greatest export. Indian citizens, whom they need for maintaining their falling population numbers and to help support their tax systems and social nets for their aging populations. One true negative of the Indian system is the failure of the judiciary and policing. Perhaps we can explore why western society is falling behind Asian societies or rather will be eclipsed by various Asian countries in a future video instead of bashing a nation that is trying to seek its own role in the world,without invading any other country in hundreds of years. If you only see chaos and filth in India, that’s because you only choose to see it that way. There are plenty of positives for those who wish to see with an open mind.

The main reason why China's development is far ahead of India lies in the considerable gap in political wisdom between the leaders of the two countries. Two simple examples can show this: 1. In terms of treating foreign capital, after Chinese leaders introduce foreign capital, they will do everything possible to provide the greatest convenience for foreign capital. No matter how much money you earn, the Chinese government is never envious. As long as you pay taxes legally according to the bilateral agreement, no matter how much money you earn, it's all yours and can be transferred away at will. Because when foreign capital enters China for investment, it will definitely bring social employment and various technologies, including production technology and management technology. What China wants is technology. In the long-term cooperation, these technologies will definitely be mastered by the Chinese people. With technology, everything is easy to say. However, Indian leaders are completely a group of short-sighted people. After seeing foreign capital making money, they try every means to punish them with fines of various names. Sometimes there is no reason for fines. They even pass a temporary bill to punish foreign capital. This untrustworthy cooperation method has caused great hardship to foreign investors. According to statistics, in the ten years from 2014 to 2024, 2,800 foreign companies fled India, and some of them came to China. 2. Since 2020, due to the China-India border conflict, India has implemented "the strictest restrictive measures in Asia" on Chinese enterprises, including strictly restricting the issuance of visas to China and Chinese investment. They said that the restrictive measures were taken due to the epidemic. In fact, China's epidemic had been completely controlled in May 2020, and China has long opened up visas for Indians to come to China. In this way, hundreds of thousands of Indians travel to China every year, including those for tourism and business, contributing considerable tourism economic income to China. Chinese leaders consider it foolish not to earn money when there is money to be made. On the contrary, due to India's refusal to issue visas, the number of Chinese going to India is very small. Foolish Indian leaders have shut out a considerable amount of income. The above can show the political wisdom of the leaders of the two countries. One has a long-term strategic vision, while the other is short-sighted and incompetent.

There is so much racism here, it is incredible that someone would write this. I can only imagine what you think about Africans and Blacks. Beyond racism.

Let me summurize it for you. China had a workers revolution. India did not. There... Every other argument descends or is subordinated to this root cause. Everything else like cultural diferences are excuses. What matters is: China has a sovereing politic system capable of making decisions in the best interest of it's people even if it goes agaimst international capital interests. India political elites are still tied and subordinated to international capital and still has remenats of a class system. This prevents their goverment from taking trully sovereign decisions on the behalf of its people. They still have to please international capital and this traps their development.

"China had a workers revolution" Still trying to get past that one. Most organized labor doesnt involve making a cult of personality around your new union leader and letting him destroy your economy and starve millions to death in badly chosen policies, to the point that the consensus is your "revolutionary" leader dying is considered the moment your country was given a chance at life. They had a new warlord who found communism to be a way of exciting and convincing people they were in control, like most communist leaders. The only pro-labor move they made was when Deng opened the country that made business come and wages earned start to rise within a natural human lifespan. Which, Deng was put in power by? Appointed bureaucrats, not popular election. You can get some points right but when you open with a lie about a fundamental building block of an entire nation's government, it really makes the rest of what you say hard to take seriously.

@@booradley6832 we should agree to diaagree then... It is clear the west is now the one under the iron curtain these days. There is so much pre conceptions and propaganda and a spice of prejudice that it is dificult to talk. I don't even know were to start you come with preconceptions intead of trying to understand from a different perspective. For example. Cult of leadership...it is not a product of the communist system nor fostered by it. This is because historicaly China follows confucionism, go read about it. And these predates current goverment by centuries. Another point is that other countries do not receive the sane treatment. Kings and queens being basically worshiped by media to this day in england. One thing you have understand is that you have been lied too your whole life about so many things... and this is by design by the current system... but i will never be able to show you the way from a youtube comment section. If you want to, you will have to take your own jorney into it...

"Dyeing of starvation Let's give some contexts on just one point so you see how shallow your understanding sounda... Starvation was the norm in china the century of humiliation. They were invaded by 7 diferent foreign countries during 18 and 19th centuries they were forced to sign unfair treadies, were forced into mass drug consumption and went from the biggest economy in the 18th century to the 6th poorest in the afternath of ww2. All this due to foreign invasions wars and exploitation. The revolution happened because people could not take it anymore. The famine you refer to happened just after the revolution when they tried the big leap foward. There were many factors involved, one of them was the shift from agricultural to industry. It was clealy an error, nobody disputes that. The problem is lack of contexts. It was not evil people doing evil stuff... let's not go that route and be rational for once. It was a governent ill equiped trying their best. Due to missreports and lack of infrastructure they though they had enough people producing food when they didn't. In the same period there was a big drought that lasted years. A devated post war contry barelly united, with a goverment with ill equiped reports followed by natural disaster is not something you see potraied inwestern propaganda. Another error is think their system stayed the same after that. They learned from that. They have concentrated everything they had on poverty elimination and it shows. They had a 70 years gdp rise nonstop some of that in double digits. They erradicated hunger in china in a way india is decades away.
