Why Can't What My Friends Believe In Be Just As True As What I Believe? 

If you believe the world is flat and your friend believes the world is round... you can't both be right.

The claim that Jesus (or anyone else) said something is not the same as claiming that what he said is actually true. And since such claims about what anyone may have said thousands of years ago cannot actually be demonstrated to be true (and no, the bible is not proof of anything), those claims are nothing more than hearsay. Accepting any religion's truth claims is subjective, which contradicts what this poor guy is trying to say about Christianity, but who fails miserably at instead.
