I'm proud of them and I'm so happy for them. But they are correct marriage is not just this Hollywood romantic comedy movie. It's hard work I don't know I spent 38 years of mine I wish it could have been longer but my husband died in October of 21. We had our great friend times we had fights that were like cat and dog matches but when I was sudden done we made it funny that's how we got through it we laughed at everything we'd be in the middle of fight and my husband would do something really stupid just to make me laugh so we quit fighting and then we just laugh about what we were fighting about. I'm very proud of them and in Hollywood yes sir it is absolutely rarity it's like finding the world's biggest diamond in the middle of a desert

They work things out....good for them! Age means nothing... the love of my life was 26 years older than me and he passed away in 2021. I miss him everyday! We shared 18 blessed years together. Wishing this couple many fun years ahead!

I remember.. that the gorgeous, radient Catherine had been this enormous sit com success in England, and then the press turned on her. Sadly, the press everywhere loves to love you...and then love to tear you down. It's universal. It sells papers. There was no real reason, at the time.. Douglas met her at a Hollywood gala. And was immediately smitten. Informed her,THAT NIGHT they would marry. The rest, as they say, is history. Catherine had already made the Zorro movie. Which was a HUGE success. So she didn't NEED him. Their longevity proves this. So nice to see a Hollywood success story... Older, younger relationships ONLY really works when they are both such attractive people...otherwise, it's sort of sad..
