Mycat has no eyes but she still faces me lovingly and blinks. Shes so sweet and still communicates with looks and slow blinks after losing her sight. She also likes so open drawers and sneak attack me when shes bored lol. She actually goes on walks with me outside and she can smell her way home and everything. Such an adaptable independent little fuzzball

I had a pair of littermates who tried to prevent me from leaving the house by stretching their bodies on adjacent stairs. I wiggled around their first position only to have them do the same thing a few more steps down. I left the house but my car wouldn't start so I went back in the house. Then I remembered that Hurricane Gloria was supposed to make landfall that day. I keep wondering if they were concerned for my safety because I was part of their group OR because they didn't know who would feed them if I got hurt. I never saw that behavior again. Wierd kitties--detecting oncoming hurricanes. [OK, and wierd me for forgetting a hurricane--in my defense, I was in grad school at MIT and was buried in work.]

I moved in with my mom to help her as she gets older. She has 2 cats. In the nearly 3 years I've been here, her oldest one, 14, has become my shadow. He had a traumatic kitten hood but I taught him that I'll always protect him. Even tho he's my mom's cat, he will run straight to my room and straight to my closet to hide anytime someone rings our doorbell.

My cat will come when called with a trilling noise I make. I can call her when she is outside, and she will come even when I can't see her, often immediately and sometimes at leisure. I always reward her with a pet, sometimes a treat, when she does this.

My kitty does the stink-face when he's about to bite me. He licks first, then does the "face", and if I don't get my hand away he'll bite it.

#3: I was cooking in the kitchen while my two cats looked contently outdoors through the screen of the sliding glass door to the balcony. They were at this for several minutes, so I thought they wanted to be outside to wonder about. I walked up behind them, slid open the door, and they readily went out. When I got back to the kitchen and turned around, there they were contently sitting at the screen looking inside back at me. Their thing seemed to be looking through the screen, period. Fur-brains.

one of my cats will sit near me and stair me in the eyes, while meowing and hard flicking his tail. if i try and touch him he bites me. if i tried to play with him he ignores the toy and keeps doing it. he has food and water, and a clean litter box, heck i have 2 cats and 5 litter boxes for them. i try and give him treats and that makes him happy but once the treats gone he goes back to starring at me. i don’t know what his problem is. i was told by a cat expert that the tail flick indicates he is over stimulated and doesn’t know how to express it. Since this only happens when i get home from work for about the first hour, it maybe his way if saying I love you so much i can eat you.

If the back is arched while they do that they are trying to make themselves look bigger and more intimidating. They can also do that while playing, and the key difference is the ears and the tail. Sometimes it is just follow thru of thinking they needed to attack. Like two people arguing, then awkwardly not knowing how to back off.

Mt cat moonie ALWAYS follows me in the kitchen, & especially when I'm at the stove he just gets up on the washer and sits straight up and just stares at me & watches everything. LOL... Sometimes I don't even think he blinks.

Very often all 4 of my girls pretend they can't hear me, but I see their ears very gently twitch so I know they are listening to me so I say what I want them to hear!! A few minutes later I get them coming to me as if it was their decision to do so but I know it was what I said to them😹😹😺

I’m kinda an overbearing love bully with my cat. She knows She’s not allowed to ignore me if I insist and She will fall to Her back and present Her belly but She also knows that I won’t pick Her up or over cuddle Her after She just ate and other things.

Cat's are misunderstood......just like me, therefore would be my perfect pet. I would understand rather than judge. I would say he's having a bad day rather than be hurt. I would be ready when he is. Yeah, cat's are for me.

My cat sometimes get over protective of me, and she gards over me. This happens every time I have a seizure. My husband has told me that I once had a seizure and she started kicking up such a fuss with meowing as loud as she could to bring attention to me and then would not leave my side for the rest of the day

My cat will come if I want or need her to. That's not the same thing as "answers and comes to her name." I would stress first, that I always come when SHE calls me, and I think without that, she wouldn't do the same for me. If I am wondering where she is (like, concerned or getting ready for bed), my call is a question: "Where's Lovey?... Where's Lovey? Where's the kitty?"(Continue in that manner if needed.) I think it's the questioning, lilting tone that clues the sound as a need, a need to know, or need to see her. If I am in a hurry, or having to go on a bit, I add more angst to it, a slight worry sound... I think that's the thing. She hears my need, doesn't want me to hurt.... so she comes. Besides that, returning to and through the door is ALWAYS dependably rewarded with three small dots of a churu cremey treat. And I use the treat is asking something from her, like if I want the spot she is lying on. I offer the treat a few feet away and she understands perfectly and accepts the trade. Opps, haven't finished the vid. Liked it. Now I'll watch the rest got sidetracked.

My boy cat is 18 months old when he was younger he followed me everywhere now he is much more independent and sometimes when i reach my hand out to pat him he sticks his claws into my hand why??? He still loves being tucked into bed and promptly falls asleep.

I wouldn’t say that cats are the most popular. I find that most people have a real distain for them because they’re aloof. They can’t be bothered until their ready for some affection. It’s always on their terms. I think most people are dog people. I’m a cat and dog person.

My 3 legged orange cat is a jerk. He runs head first into walls. He meows obnoxiously. Bossy but very, very dumb. My family says he takes after m- Wait a minite. Honestly though wouldn't have it any other way. We have our own variation of the double blink. It's just a normal wink. One eye, heck he even mirriors the eye I use. Honestly though, those first few years before he learned meowing was bliss.

Do cats get jealous? My Bombay will curl up with me but when my dog comes over and I start petting him, the cat will hiss and growl at the dog. It doesn't seem like the cat is,trying to protect me, its genuinely seems like hes mad at the dog for taking attention away from him

My cat had her kittens in a hidden place (of course). When she was outside, I found them, and put them in an open, covered, comfy cage to give her an "apartment" for her family. When She came back in, I directed her to it, and she got in...but made stink-face. She loved this cave, but her first reaction was that face. I've seen her do it twice since; and I'm glad to know what it's about.
