I agree with you that mirrors always looking is vital, I saw a cyclist been knocked down as a car driving too fast and did not check their mirrors therefore knocking him down he was badly hurt. So watch often and always check your mirrors
These lessons are the best lessons that I have ever gotten in my entire life. so detailed . I wish my driving instructor could watch and approach his students with a similar technique instead of getting irritated when you ask a question and when you forget something. I am learning so much more here. Good ups to the channel and the work.
Your teachings has really really helped me . I drove my children today, and they applauded me.They always mimic you by saying, mirror, mirror😂.i Love you sir,you have make my driving lessons easy,my instructor can attest to that.❤🎉 From Ghana
May Allah keep continue blessing to you and your family brother. I have passed my driving test yesterday. I have learn much more from you than to my driving school. Eventhough, I have passed I have plan to keep watching and learning everyday from you. May Allah accept your work as Sadaka. I did not you but I have learn everything about driving not just to pass exam but also to become safe driver. Wish your best in here and here after.
WOW!!! A BIG congratulations Sharmin. Thank you so much for this beautiful comment and I’m so glad my channel helped. In the end it’s you who did all the hard work and you deserve this pass. Thank you so much for supporting my channel and may ALLAH keep you safe, healthy and happy…AMEEN!
The other reason we check the centre mirror is because it gives an accurate distance of vehicles behind you, the left and right hand mirrors give a better view but because of the curved covex glass the distance of vehicles is distorted in regard to the true distance.
You have made a demonstration of driving in line with your illustration of diagram. It is always worth watching your videos which is equivalent to reading many a reference books. You are simply clarifying so many issues in your structured video clips which is beneficial to many like myself. I love listening to your explanation which has clarity and smooth to put things across to anyone who may have difficulties to listen to English.
Assalamualikum sir masha Allah very helpful and clear video thanks for the advice sir please pray for me I am going to my practical test soon your video is better than ours instructor
Very educational video! Mirrors have been explained excellently. Could you please make a video on Satnav driving? Specially please cover the confusing part of satnav’s directions.
Brother you explain very logical way I have question suddenly we saw parked car and cycle in and we need to reduce as we do not have any other options and in mirror also saw behind me some car ,I can not wait I have only option to slow down no matter how much behind car is close it that car also responsibilities to maintain gap 🙏
Hi Kisan Firstly the parked cars and cyclist don't fall from the sky, they have always been there on the road. It's your responsibility to check and read the road always as you drive so there are no sudden parked cars and cyclist. So you read and you assess as you drive and if you recognise any hazard like parked cars and cyclist you look at the mirror and if someone behind close to you then you help them by giving them a warning. And how do you help by giving them a warning? You touch the brake gently first this will help them to see the red brake light back of your car which then they will start to brake and then you brake a little harder to slow or to stop. If you saw a parked car or a hazard and you didn't look at the mirror and you just braked hard to slow or to stop and there was a car behind you close. What do you think could happen. But if you looked at the mirror first and saw the car behind you and you touch the brake gently - this will help the car behind with red brake light so they can slow as you brake harder to slow or to stop. One other reminder to remind here. If the situation is in an emergency, for example a child suddenly comes in front of you then you DON'T LOOK AT THE MIRROR, you just brake hard to stop to save the child. For emergency stop check the following videos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c_F8VZwWw38.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RrQyEgm4y6E.html Hope this helps Please do let me know if it does and wishing you all the best learning!
Great examples used. Also maybe you should check mirrors for emergency vehicles overtaking etc. Would you signal left earlier if the car is following close?
You can have this online-course where you'll find all the videos in ONE place learntodrive-onlinecourse.teachable.com/p/learn-to-drive-manual-online-course-uk Wishing you all the best!

I have a question, what if I’m in a motorway and I need to make an exit but the lane is filled with no space to do so and after checking the mirrors Iknow it’s not safe, do I miss my exit to stay safe or slow down even though u shouldn’t in a motorway??
Hi Susan Watch the following 2 videos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PLXL5FRbqsQ.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sMe7lSp5Cts.html Hope this helps!
Hello Sir. Thanks for sharing very informative videos. I was going through your videos and could not find a video explaining box junctions. Can you please do one if it's not done yet?
Hi everyone Hope you're well Checking mirrors and use of mirrors is one of the most important thing a driving must do. This video should help you why you should use the mirrors. Please do make a comment what you thing of the video. My new Channel ru-vid.com?search_query=english+fluency+tv
Before giving gas how will you see overtaking vehicle without checking your blind spot. Vehicle can be on your blind spot too. So don't you have a chance of missing the over taking vehicle if you don't look there ?
And this is "WHY" you should be looking at your rear view mirror every 5 to 8 seconds so that you don't miss anything behind you. If you regularly check your rear view mirror you will know what is happening behind you, so if there were a vehicle to overtake you you will know before they are at the blind spot. Hope this helps Wishing you all the best learning!
Ok. If it is so , why should we check our blind spot when we change lanes if we check mirrors every 5-8 seconds ? I am asking this question as you said we don't need to check blind spot before giving gas after a junction. Please give answer with regards to this. Thank you for your reply. 🙏
For example, blind spot before moving off from a stationary position and before changing lanes. 1. Before moving off because you’re in a stationary position which means you haven’t been looking at the mirror and so before moving off it’s best you look at the blind spot to make sure it’s safe to move off. 2. Before changing lanes is because you’re moving to another lane which is not your lane and that lane and it’s blind spots are not covered by your rear view mirror.
