asmond is the type of streamer i thought i hated for just talking BS, but asmon just have a great view of the world by not hating people for no reason and actually taking in count both sides, he just gives the info and give the possible bias due to his experience which surprisingly is very big

I remember Sunny catching hate over this video, and he was right all along. Now every single RU-vidr or streamer is gonna try their best to either back track what they said or completely ignore the entire situation to try and protect their image. My dad said no using said history as proof he needs it and luckily the doctor backed off. He takes just enough to get rid of the pain. No high whatsoever. No leftover pills at the end of refill. So if they had succeeded in lowering his prescription they would have immediately sent a 68 year old man into withdrawal and inescapable arthritis. He's already going to be in a wheel chair eventually if he doesn't die before that. The last thing we need is to add chronic pain on top of it. I think the one thing asmongold didn't touch up on enough is that this issue is only present in the vocal minority. The silent majority of people who make up the majority of consumers don't care. They aren't pro trans or anti trans, they just don't care about the concept entirely and it won't affect how they view the channel as a whole.

I have a good friend that ended up getting a divorce from her husband because her husband transitioned. She said she wasn’t attracted to women and couldn’t make that change with her and said her former husband deserved to be happy and find someone that made her happy. They’re still really good friends and good coparents and are both in good relationships now. As for your dad and his pain, they have made many advances in pain management. They make spinal cord stimulators now that can help with pain. It’s always good to look into other options. Your body builds up a resistance to opioids after you’ve been taking them for a long time so they do stop working as well and you have to keep taking more.

One of my best friend as a child was a turkish girl here. She wanted to be a boy and felt like a boy. She didnt want to be a girl. Early 90s of course were even harder times for people that have this problem with themself. In the end she hang herself from a tree and we found her. At this time i was 5 years old. I still remember everything about it. People dont understand the real problems some of these people have. And alot comes from the bullshit people that abuse the state of this "if we are like this we get treated better" - and i understand. But people have to differentiate from case to case.

Damn, so far, I am about 12 minutes in and Asmon's reactions to this have been sane and reasonable. So far, he has been a rock of calm and reasonability that has helped me temper my view of the situation.

First, whoever wrote "become trans = get attention" ought to give it a try and find out. Fucking stupid thing to say. Second, just for data, wanted to offer an anecdote: a friend married a woman. He identified as a bisexual man initially, but has since transitioned and now presents fem and identifies as n-b. And... still married. Wife still loves them - not the man, not the woman, but the person - for them. Their relationship has gotten stronger because they are free to be their genuine selves with each other's support. All I'm saying is, this shit is complicated, and people stay people now matter how they change.

I love how we point out the fact that a kid MIGHT be bullied in school for Chris being trans as if being trans is the problem. Completely overlooking that we cultivate a culture and society that greenlights bullying and harrassment. The issue there isn't that Chris is trans. The issue there is that we acknowledge and tolerate bullying with the basis of transphobia.

I also think you see more people disliking trans people not because of the people themselves, but the direction that culture is going. I was apathetic towards trans people, aside from them trying to change my language. I was friendly with the trans dude i used to work with. But now that they are injecting gender ideology into everything, and promoting just generally weird things and concepts to children, I'm out. We don't need child drag shows, or children performing drag in school. We don't need them teaching sexuality in grade school. We don't need them learning the "progressive" concept of gender being pushed on children. It's just too much. It's everywhere. It's in everything. And now I've moved closer to dislike than apathy. And not disliking each individual, but anyone that supports the above things and especially supporting transitioning children. This is a hill that many people will die on. You're an adult? Take your drugs and make your innie an outie. Don't care. But stop trying to influence and confuse children.

As someone who lives in china i can tell you being trans is quite common here too. And their version of tik tok also has tons of trans women. Although its more common to see women become dudes.

My father had serious back surgery years ago and they actually did the *wrong* surgery (super long story but tldr he was hurt on the job, company filed bankruptcy to avoid paying out settlement, doctor did wrong surgery, couldn't find lawyer to take malpractice case without paying up front). He is now messed up for life and refuses to go under the knife again as there is no more trust for the medical system. He was only able to get pain medication after over a year of complaining and going to a pain clinic and jumping through hoops every single month to get the medication he needs (and he still only gets 2 10mg Percocets a day when he should be getting at least double that dosage for his pain).

This doesn't hurt nobody (* double negative). Just imagine you have kids, house, etc and your wife comes home as a man. Yup that's not going to totally hurt and destroy you and your family. But it's what's best for him yo. I'd be so mad that I would probably kick muh wife in the balls. It's going to rip apart the household and family unit no matter what happens.

This is going to sound stupid, but I promise it’s relevant, but I always think of the Kardashians. What they went through was so unique and I really felt for everyone when they spoke about this. They’re so young and NO DOUBT have been told THEIR WHOLE LIFE that boys are boys and can only do boy things and vice versa. They are going to be so confused. Children do not understand that words have double meaning until they’re about 8-9 years old. So, they don’t comprehend jokes and things are black and white. For example, when you tell a child that breaking something is bad- they don’t understand that someone put a full glass on a corner and the cat knocked it over. It’s just bad to them, there are no situational awareness with children that young. Yeah, we can debate, but at the end of the day, it’s going to be really difficult for that family. I do believe that they will all grieve the loss of who he used to be. It’s so interesting that the debate is about female and male, how there are no differences, but when someone transitions that is the only difference: masculine or feminine. A lot of people change their interests, major personality traits, and just become someone else. That I personally don’t understand, but that’s not for me to understand. All I can do is accept people for who they are. In terms of Mr.Beast, yeah, there are a lot of people who won’t allow their kids to watch and kids who are old enough to understand- won’t want to watch. Once he transitions, they may not have anything in common anymore, and IF THAT HAPPENS and the female version of his friend gets his feelings hurt, it’s going to be unfortunate.
