Our org needs SKILLED volunteers, particularly engineers, to commit hours / week for several months. We have found it IMPOSSIBLE to persuade any corporation to engage in a formal volunteer program with us. The only success we had was with Apple, through Benevity, and ONLY because i was a consultant at Apple at the time, so i was able to recruit internally. We are desperate for committed, skilled corporate volunteers. WHAT CAN WE DO?
Same Problem now, have you had any luck after a year of working on it? I'd love to connect with you! We got our 501c3 in November of last year and it has been EXTREMELY difficult getting ANYONE! let alone skilled. At this point, we just want people to help virtually or on-site. We are on Benevity, and have put tons of ads, but nothing!
