Why Crimson Witch Domain Co-op is Cursed ( Genshin PS5/PS4 Co-op Highlights) 

What was the person using Yanfei on the first match even thinking??? Like, I understand Hu Tao, Amber, Yoimiya, and Diluc since they can be built as phys dmg characters, but not a catalyst 😭😭😭 especially on a domain where almost all enemies are immune to pyro 💀✋

God the pain when you basically need to make the domain alone The amount of times when my Kokomi had to solo

Finally, someone is talking about that. It's not just crimson witch domain, people is like that everywhere. It feels like nobody reads ley line disorder. Seriously, I saw so many people choose pyro in geo domain or bennet and be like "it's okay, I'll heal it over". Sure, you'll heal yourself, but what about others? They get hit just by standing near you. People really refuse to accept that domains is a challenge and you need to follow certain rules to complete it, not to mention that following them makes it easier and faster. But noooo, we want our freedom, so we gonna choose the harder way just because! Sorry about this rant, I just get so pissed about this all the time and haven't really talked about it anywhere.

this is why i join crimson domains with my kokomi just to help out. i have never seen a crimson co op without a hu tao there's always that one annoying person who'd bring a pyro LMAO

This is why i mainly use Kazuha on co-op... if he gets taken then my next would be Diona... i main Xiao but im shy using him on co-op cause im bad at dodging and dont want people just saying bad things about the char i love. And i get anxiety thinking i'm making them carry me.

It reminded me how once in this place all my teammates, including kokomi, managed to die from pyro slimes, but my sucrose with 10k hp survived... I killed slimes and mitachurl. But sucrose couldn't broke the abyss mages shields

When your farming the crimson domain and you see two people fighting to go with hu tou And am like 😐you do know the enemies are immune to Pyro Anyway that happened One week ago when farming for hu tou I had to solo with dionna and a teamate brought xinqui While one got salty bc they couldn't bring their hu tou so they brought a level 20 amber The other brought hu to and started flexing until she realised the enemies are immune to Pyro They both died (I wonder why )

lmao that happened a lot during this domain almost always a hutao main is the host and they just stand still until the others kill the pyro slimes and then show off their damage on the 2 mitachurls

I'm a Yanfei and Hu Tao main and would never do this, I would rather let people deal with my not rly good build Sayu and Diona instead of some pyro characters 😭

I remember farming for crimson witch of pain before and nobody is bringing any hydro or cryo character and I was like "Why should I bring hydro or cryo character if no one is bringing one? " *Proceed to bring out my level 70 Barbruh*

Thank God, I never found these kind of people, everytime I do domain co-op... They're so nice, and never upset anyone else, if they make mistake they say sorry, and sometimes one or three of them say thanks before they leave/end the co-op section ;D

I don't get why some people won't bother to read the leyline disorder and trying to go Daredevil mode without asking the host or other people if its okay cause when you co-op,you do things TOGETHER not alone🤦🏻‍♀️. Some might think that its okay for them but what about the other person whose trying to earnestly farm for what they need. I always thought about this possibility when I Co-op so I always make sure to read the leyline before going Co-op and look which character everybody choose so I can decide to whether bring a shielder, a support dps or healer. Please be considerate with your teammate everyone, if you can't, go do domain by yourself🙂

I like bringing amber in when people use hydro and cryo just to do physical to the slimes and then melt to the mitichurls, it's so fun

Once I entered to my friend's acc to farm some crimson witch artifacts for her (I had never farmed that domain before that day so I had no idea what was inside). I joined to a co-op match with Yanfei. When I saw pyro slimes, pyro abyss mages and pyro mitachurls I immediately left the match because I got so embarassed lmao.

Reason why i do this domain with only 1 friend to get things faster and we have easier time to strategize over what characters to bring

alright, gonna rant a bit here because i truly felt this in my soul. i like to run coop in domains because it's much faster to complete it with 4 active players on the field rather than having to swap between characters. i often pick a healer like barbara or qiqi because usually NO ONE picks a healer then everyone dies. it's incredible. and... the amount of confusion and rage i feel when i see others bringing the WRONG charas/elements is just... wow. like either they don't know that some elemental reactions will cause them to take aoe dmg, or they're trolling (idk maybe they want to test/see how much the healer can heal, OR they don't have any other chara built). just WOW. the number of times i have encountered a random bringing a pyro chara to lvl 90 crimson witch domain is INSANE. HOW are you gonna break the pyro abyss mages' shields. i've also met people who thought it would be a good idea to bring electro charas to this domain, and they leave 1P's world SO FAST when their chara dies. smh. it's not just the crimson witch domain though, this can literally be applied to ANY OTHER domain. i've met randoms who brought pyro charas to the domain of guyun and then they wonder why they lose so much hp when melt reactions are triggered. just... why. the recommended elements at the top of the party screen exists for a reason. here's a fun artifact coop story (not): this happened while i was farming for archaic petra pieces (lvl 90 domain of guyun). i originally chose razor but switched to barbara because my teammates picked dps charas (beidou, zhongli, eula) and we needed a HEALER. i don't have other healers like jean or bennett - plus bennett would be a TERRIBLE choice for this domain because of the aoe dmg backlash. when the domain begun i noticed that everyone else's hp was red so i quickly used barbara's burst to heal everyone. since i'm using barbara in this domain, her skill constantly applies a wet status on the active chara and there is a cryo leyline. this means that i'm constantly frozen and i have to free myself while also making sure that everyone else has enough hp. we managed to complete the domain but this eula had the audacity to call me bad for being frozen and how i was far away from the cryo abyss mages. EXCUSE me. i already have to taken the frozen status from the ley line AND i also have to make sure that everyone's hp is ok. sorry for healing you and keeping you alive then. if you think you're that good, you don't need to do coop domains. seriously.

tbh i don't mind peeps choosing chars that make no sense in domains cuz it actually makes it more fun and challenging than killing everything in a few seconds- but i hate it when they go into a domain where their elemental reactions kill them- the team usually ended up not having a healer or a healer who barely heals, and they end up putting too much faith in that healer. had to switch chars and solo carry whenever my party failed more than three times

Now that you mention it, this really do be happening quite often when i farm that domain. At this point it's not about the freedom to use the character you like. It's understandable if they don't have many characters built. I've had to use Ganyu in the dragonspine domain when playing for a friend because they had a very limited number of built characters, at least you can kill the mitachurls. But other than that, when you click on the coop button you're becoming part of a team. Maybe you'll successfully finish the domain even while using your favorite, debuffed/same element character, but then you're making it so much harder for your team members. It takes years to break those abyss mage shields and kill them with Diona when everyone else is dead from wielding elecrto ;_;

I've been dealing with the exception, in my opinion bringing qiqi to the cryo domains are acceptable since she's a healer AND her cryo output might as well be non-existent. They really didn't have to diss my first 5-star like that :( Bro I had to hit full pity for this physical dps child(e)-healer.

i have four reasons for why i like doing this domain by myself. first is this. second is the companionship exp. third is my slow af device and fourth is my socializing skills.

It's when you want to get some good crimson witch artifacts. It's a sacrifice that not everyone are ready for.

I was so done farming here and I did completed Dilucs artifacts in solo . I only coop here when I absolutely have no other things to do and the abyss still hasn't reset. I just help and stare at ppl bringing a pyro characters and see what abomination can happen. Pretty much just looking for drama and unusual convos,tho in the Asia server it rarely happens. Cus I'm just there sipping tea and bring Kokomi to almost every domain except Cecilia garden😃

I was once tried to do the domain in co-op with a pyro character and was confused as to why I was dying so much til I actually read the ley line disorder I learned my lesson and now actually read the ley line disorders lol

I dont think i ever had someone use a pyro in that domain. And most of the time i can still go with childe or ayaka.

It's always the hutao mains, it's ok if there's only one pyro character, but three of them? I'll just leave 😬

I'm an Albedo main but stopped bringing him to any domains with an abyss mage because people kept bringing the wrong elements and getting killed by the shockwave, and Albedo can't break shields for *shit*.

Most people bringing Pyro there at Rank 50+ are probably trolling. As for those who just reached 45, I can understand if they mistakenly brought pyro. Its their first time farming actual artifacts.

Id prefer them to switch on their best artifacts onto on a lower leveled character that pairs well than the leyline then have them use their maxed level 90, well built Childe in the Mondstadt Talent Book domain 😐 Y’all gotta be adjustable here and not bring that character just because it’s your “best built”. Switch to a healer or support chara, anything that is not holding the team as a whole back. Your level 90 Childe may be good in CW domain, but it’s literal dead weight in the domain with slowing water + Hydro slimes

I know its not the same, but i was farming for xingqiu in co-op and i found a c6 bennett. The person was using him even though there was a eula and a physical keqing. When i left that world i keept farming on other person world and found the same c6 bennett, the person keept using him until someone change to a lvl 90 bennett. Like its fine using c6 benny on co-op as long there isn't any physical character

I've given up on that domain already and give my yanfei wanderer 4 piece. She's not my main DPS anyway, Qiqi is 😌👌 *I usually bring qiqi or albedo there in coop, but the drops...*

This is the reason i always say “hey pyro and electro drain hp” before we start, otherwise people will be salty about dying :/

I do domains by myself or with friends, I think I’d cry if I had to co-op with randoms because I have so much anxiety over my dmg output lmao. Even doing domains with friends, I play Kokomi so I can be support instead being the main dmg dealer.

Honestly the game is not hard enough to have you going into these domains with super optimized team comps, as long you have a support any team comp is enough.

But seriously tho, i once done this crimson domain with someone who use hutao. He said just trust until the shield is gone and dang, that hutao carried us i was like bruhhhhh is this some cheat 0.0

So glad I finished farming there for my Hu Tao. Ngl, Qiqi and Barbara carried me despite me using Keqing for that domain (she was my only main DPS at the time). Don't think Imma visit there often now unless I get reliable cryo/hydro unit like Ayaka

Seeing the hutao survive at the end is pretty funny tho

on co op I mostly just use diona cuz I have her c2 and it’s always helpful to have a shield

hi i know this is an odd place to say this but earlier i logged onto genshin and every icon was like a mix of everyone’s in the team. like the skill had everyone’s skill icon on it. and so for the others. also for some reason the (bow) aim button looked like a fully charged ult with either a talent icon on it or something from an event a while ago. character was invisible and the level and health were both 00

FINALLY someone acknowledges how cursed this domain is. Ugh not counting the fact that I play on a barely mediocre mobile device, Crimson Witch domain is actual torture. It's why I gave up on building Hu Tao. :/

Because of the previous Hu Tao rerun, I've experienced more things like this in co-op at Crimson domain so I always use Qiqi whenever there's someone who picks Hu Tao even if we get double healers. I just don't understand why they would pick pyro chars who heavily relies on pyro damage. The first wave is all *slimes* and the last wave includes two *pyro abyss mages* who needs their shields to be broken before we can beat them up.

OMG >,< I really not do that domain because I was short on Hydro, now I could but really I was shock when the low AR player was using Hu Tao when I go to help :,D I don't even try anemo because is hard to swirl anything more than pyro there. Something I really want is see who are the enemies and the disorder, when you're in co-op you can't, I could not dodge when I was using Ayaka and discover there was cryo enemies :,D, just 1 dash and I was useless XD

Today I joined an AR45 Player because they needed help with this domain. They chose two support charas and literally just stood in a corner doing nothing, while I beat the mobs by myself. Alright, don't mind me, I just needed to vent for a second :)

today I was doing co-op in the blizzard domain and the owner invited me, everything normal. but I didn't read the domain's name bc I literally was there to do a specific one and then I saw a lot of electro slimes. that was the crimson witch domain and I was using Keqing🤡 co-op can be... unpredictable

0:50 I still remember when i only had Raiden as good character and was forced to bring her into crimson domain, i couldn't even user her E, it was just her burst and then barbruh dps time.

i remember that time i tried cooping the level 69 one, all of us were underleveled and someone was using yanfei ☹️

This happeneds to me in the cw domain and the dragonspine domain where they almost always chose a pyro in the cw and cryo in the dragonspine one

I usually take Bennett for healing but I once took Chongyun (my main) instead of Tartaglia and was kicked after it while I was the last one standing 😅

I must have got lucky because when I co-oped CW for some XL upgrades (only have enough emblem for shogun) there was almost always a childe with my ayaka for shield breaks and freezing

I don't want to ascend my world level yet so it's quite painful as many people don't have a well built hydro/cryo. This domain felt really bad to co op in around hu taos banner since there were so many people who didn't have good dps that was hydro/cryo. Everyone only had healers or supports.

I remember I was playing with friends and we did the crimson witch and one of them brought Hu Tao bc they didn’t know it was an all pyro domain. They ran around screaming “HELP, I BROUGHT HUTAO” and I almost died from laughing so much

I do run for crimson witch a lot, but I don't remember the insides that well. If it is the one with pyro slimes where electro is off-limits, then run with Beidou, she does a lot of damage without getting her health drained from the limitation.

I just want to finish this damn domain, I don't care who you pick as long as you actually do smth

I almost always use my Mona in Coop if there is already a healer… My Mona is by no means dealing a lot of dmg, but at the very least her Q helps others, and hydro can help to trigger many element reactions. If not Mona then probably Diona, but my Diona is only at C1 and I feel bad if I can’t make shield for my teammates… Qiqi is another option I use if there is no Hutao in the team

i remember doing that domain the first time and i brought fischl cuz i didn't read- luckily i build her as physical haha but everyone died and i had to do everything by myself and... god that was stressful- I'm never bringing her into that domain again

What I used to do as a diluc main back then is slap some weirdly good 2p bloodstained on him (only phy artifacts at the time) and do wacky movement to abuse the slimes hitbox and start doing 15-20k plunges. It was so damn fun carrying my own weight in dps on my shoulders as a pyro character Can't do anything about those abyss shields tho.

When I first started farming that domain for the crimson witch set and it took me like 6 or 7 times before I even got one piece of that set and you know what the main stat is ? It's anemo damage idk anymore it could probably used for something else or that but the substats are all defence

i can cry my eyeballs out while while doing this domain alone but i REFUSE to do it on coop BCS it's even worse

That was my first random coop domain and since i was excited i didnt act careful and bring my yanfei.. after starting the fight i see what mistake i made and apologise.. but everyonr left coop and im still afraid to go any domains with strangers

whenever i do coop i always use jean, shes my support so she cant do too much damage in general but its satisfying to heal everyone when they're on life support also there's no domain atm that has an enemy immune to anemo so i usually dont have to switch unless someone else has an insane whale jean

i mean for me if they do big pp dmg sure...once i had a raiden come in. none of us said anything and changed immediately to 3 hydro characters, 2 of which are healers (kokomi and barbara) while childe was there as sub dps. that raiden shogun annihilated the enemies....i dont really care what they bring in maybe they r secretly a physical god who happens to be level 20 or something. if we die we laugh and retry until they give up themselves and try another team. i always give them a chance to prove themselves before i judge them out loud 😆

This is why most of the time I use Barbara I’m not a Barbara main but I can heal everyone and most of the key line disorders don’t affect her. So it’s my choice for co-op doimains

was farming for ningguang, bennetts/hu taos everywhere in geo domain it's really painful

I never had any problems like this in coop and I was basically camping in crimson witch at some point lmao but even then I usually tend to bring my Childe since I'm a Childe main and have him well built so even if the others heck up I can just solo the domain Also yall please use your NRE, it's there for a reason

I clear this domain with chongyun, kazuha, barbara and rosaria that being said, I'm nearing 6 months into farming this domain and still need 2 pieces to roll well and finish my hutao's artifacts.

There was this one Baal main who was asking for an amber main to switch to Ayaka. They say that while they were the one who was bringing electro on the shimenewa and emblem domain? This happened to my alt acc and i was using Yoimiya. But on my main, i always use Zhongli since he can give shield. If someone has Zhongli but is only C1 or lower, im keeping him, but if it's higher ofc I'm giving him up and switch to Jean/bennett. But tbh, I really want to use my Baal in co op since she's my fav character but i can't since my friend always use her even though mine deals more damage..

When ever I do coop for this domain and someone brings pyro I’ll say “Hey -User- are you sure all of the enemies are pyro.” they usually switch, but if they don’t their usually the first dead. The only time it’s acceptable to use pyro in this domain is if you are doing the lvl 59 one where it’s only electro and hydro slimes.

im gonna have to pull for ganyu over zhongoli just because i don't wanna do coop anymore i legit spent 1 hour coop just to finish 1 run i was about to quit because i had diona level 80 and everyone else using hu tao yanfei and amber

I gave up on CO-OP and I only do solo challenges now. Far too many people come to get carried and far too many people can't read.

I don't have cryo carry so i be the healer always with my overpowered jean build

u can craft some gadget to help u healing more fast with ur food. its called NRE menu 30

Dunno if I just got lucky or not, but I only saw 2 pyro characters here - Bennett and Thoma (even tho only Bennett player got in, host told Thoma player to change character). However, I keep seeing people bring underleved characters in lvl 90 domain, like lvl 40 Mona... Wonder how this situation will change once Hu Tao rerun is out

I don't do much Co-op anymore but when I do, I get left behind because the barrier won't disappear for like, 30-40 seconds. That and because my phone only has 650 snapdragon chip.

When usually doing this domain i use either kokomi or ayato, mainly kokomi bc people really enjoy bringing pyro characters to a pyro domain and i have to make sure they don't die, idk why people bring hu tao or any pyro character to this domain is it like to show off their damage to the mitachurls? I'm just so confused as to why people don't read before entering a domain plus it shows you the recommended elemets
