Much appreciated. This is one of my favorite games of all time and has been the most played in my library since launch. I hope wherever you are now and whatever you're working on is successful.
This game is in my Top Ten alongside games like Chrono Trigger, Elden Ring and Mass Effecf. Just want you to know that plenty of people saw the hard work on display here and really enjoyed it
I cried real tears when I played this game. I'm late 40s and played cyberpunk 2020 in the late eighties and early nineties. It was a favourite, from system to setting. CP2077 was such a hit of nostalgia to my teenage years it almost broke me. CP2077 is a sequel to an adventure in the core book "never fade away". It's nuts how well they got the lore and feeling down. Plus they managed to transform "Chipin' In" from total cringe to an absolute banger of a song. that right there is a blood miracle.
The conversation immersion really hit me early in the game, went to meet Jackie and he was at a street food vendor and V sat with him and casually chatted while he ate. Just a few more mins longer than the usual "speak to, get mission and maybe few optional lines and go" most games have. But that casual sit and chat was so natural it made the extraordinary setting seem casual and natural too, I was immediately immersed.
That's quite a paradox, I found that Jackie segment to be one of the most rushed moments in the game, instead of actually playing the game along with him, the moment when they showed us the short 30 seconds montage of "us" and Jackie fraternizing was the moment I knew something was seriously wrong with the game. I wouldn't even mind a complete DLC dedicated to just doing gigs and getting street cred with Jackie.
@@Bourinos02 I can see where you are coming from, the thing with the montage is that yes its rushed but it is actually present. Many times in various storytelling across forms of media from books onward is we just get left with the presumption that characters are the greatest friends, tight bonds or long standing tension. The montage showed the kind of life they lived, it didn't need to reinforce the connection between the pair at that time. It was the stage being set rather than the play, once you start the story properly is the opening act of the play. Everyone is affected differently, for me once I was properly in control of V the going home to chill after all the chaos and then just meeting Jackie whilst he eats lunch and chatting put the brakes on the story pacing to cement those two having everyday normal interactions helped my immersion.
it was a good prologue. I wish the game was longer because it really seemed like there was more story to tell. Notice that Jackie's segment was the only montage one besides Johnny if you can call it that as we were just skipping through his memories. It was a compact story to really sell us on the idea that Jackie would be there for us throughout the entire game. I found Jackie's whole goal to become a legend lead me down the path to the secret ending when the game first launch. I wanted to live up to that promise he made V no matter what sorry Panam, not calling ya.😂
I only picked up CP2077 maybe a month ago, my sister and I had watched BladeRunner 2049 on my new TV…when suddenly I remembered that I needed that dystopian future/cyber noir vibe in my life. On a series X, with a 4K tv that can do 120hz refresh rate…this game and its story just hit the spot. I haven’t been this invested in a single player game since SKYRIM…and that says something. I’ve just walked around aimlessly taking in the environment…and man does it look and feel good
I love reading this. Skyrim is gonna be forever my young boy favorite game (+ nostalgia) and Cyberpunk will be the same thing for my late teen years. Truly an amazing experience.
I’ll always defend Cyberpunk. When it came out my best friend had just died and I was alone in an unfamiliar city I had moved to (see the parallels?). Playing the game helped me to kind of vicariously move past from. I cried for the first time in years during parts, hell I even learned how to play many SAMURAI songs on my bass. This game might have its problems but to me it is so so special and I hope it gets some more content
the game really does have potential but why I'm personally on the other end is because of all the lying and deceit around release. they had so many roads they could take but they chose to lie and ship an unfinished product. If they would be honest explain their situation and release in early access I'd be way more on board with that but that wouldn't sell as well. In the end its ironic how a game that depicts and shuns corporate greed falls victim to that exact thing.
I'm gonna go ahead and say this now. Holy shit, you guys are absolutely insane. Over 8000 views, thank you all so much for taking the time to click on this video, it means so much to see so many interested and discussing in the Comment. I just want to say to everyone that watched, liked, comented, or subscribed, whether you agree or disagree with what I said, thank you for taking the time to watch it. Stay beautiful :) Edit: What the fuck guys? This is insane.
You hit the nail on the head with the part about V actually having a voice and the ability to ACTUALLY SPEAK. It conveys so much more emotion and draws you into the game and story even more. I'm extremely disappointed that Bethesda did not give the protagonist the ability to verbally respond and address the NPCs throughout the game. But that gripe aside; This game, Cyberpunk 2077, now has a spot in my top 5. Maybe even my top 3 games of all time.
The soundtrack and overall sound direction added a depth of character to the game that I have never really experienced to this level. Between that and the complex relationship V has with Night City makes this game an absolute classic and one of my all time favorites. Thanks for a great vid essay.
My favorite part of the game was the ending. All of them were unique and well done in my opinion. Especially the "secret" ending where you and Johnny go through the front doors of Arasaka without any outside help and immediately start blasting your way to your goal. I felt as if it truly encapsulated theme of the game. One last act of rebellion against the corporations.
Just started playing this game a few days ago. I feel like I’m in a movie whenever I play it. I always loved the Cyberpunk theme ever since Farcry: Blood dragon. That got me into movies like blade runner, 5 element, Dredd. So when I play this game I feel like it was made for me. It’s literally feels like some of my favorite games mixed with some of my favorite movies.
My main gripe is i just wanted more immersion. To feel like I'm living in this world. Add some gambling mini games in casinos, inviting a character for drinks at a bar, those purchasable braindances to actually be braindances, a rep system with gangs and cops, more interactions with your "romance" option, etc. The setting and atmosphere of this game are unparalleled and I just want it to be utilized to its fullest potential. If they want to move on to the next CP game, they can and should reuse the whole map imo and just add features and such.
What blows me away is how deep some parts get in contrast to how shallow the rest is, the main quest is what, 8 missions if you don't do any of the branching side quests? Meanwhile they were able to interweave somany gigs and NCPD jobs together AND have them branch and affect eachother and spawn dialog as a result of you doing them *Jotaro Shoto as an example* that made how shallow the romances and main plot were stick out even worse. Like River/Panam, your gonna tell me after hanging out with a group of nomads for 2 days they are willing to help me assault the largest corp on the planet? Granted I saved their leaders life, and helped them steal a tank, but for the entire group to risk their lives for someone they met 2 days ago? But river, ex cop who is sick of the system and is trying to do the right thing to let his lover storm Arasaka alone? I feel like all the departments who wrote and developed the game never got on the same page to put the whole story together and its just sad. The world is fantastic, the gunplay is great, the writing CAN be good but never hit its full potential. I agree, my first thought for them making the game so demanding was so they could use this world for like a decade and just pump out DLC's and expansions and maybe even a sequel before having to reubild it, but now it looks like everything is getting scrapped and they are going to switch to Unreal so all of what they did manage to pull off is going to go to waste.
Thank you for making this video and speaking for those of us who really enjoy this game despite the bugs and terrible launch. Idk how you don't have more subs but this video alone earned you one more.
Every time I watch a cyberpunk video, I see a bunch of missions that I've never encountered in my half dozen playthroughs. I love the depth. It keeps calling me back.
This game spoke to me early on when it was announced, it was a love hate relationship at first that ended in an incomplete playthrough due to bugs not letting me progress but after a few big patches, an upgraded pc, and a second chance this game has become my all time favorite game ever. Absolutely obsessed with it and I’m depressed for days ever time I’m near the end. Despite its bugs and flaws it’s still a technical accomplishment with one of the best stories in all of gaming. I don’t think any game will top cyberpunk for me for years.
Just finished my 3rd playthrough. I love this fucking game. Even after all the hours I put into it, I still find new stuff and discover new places I haven't seen so far
Well put, personally on of my favorite games hands down. The story is superb as well as top notch character development, you don't see that often. Fun fact after a couple play throughs I found you can see Panam in the afterlife upon your first visit.
This essay was good. Thanks for noticing everything good about this game and why we fans love it so much. “An uncut gem” best description of this game I’ve heard yet
The sad part is that CDPR could had just shown us this version of the game, and their reputation wouldnt have been damaged as much, but they ended up showing us this overly edited gameplay and the rest is history
@@eightninety. what do you mean by pre rendered? the demo showed in engine gameplay. it was a playable slice of the game, and some guy played it at closed door presentations, for press only, at E3.
@@MD-iw2vt sounds like you don’t know. Cdpr devs said themselves that the entire demo wasn’t real and it was all pre rendered. None of it was using the game engine. They may’ve used the assets but it was all pre rendered
@@clumsycaden5708 This is absolutely not true. The demo was a vertical slice of the game. The devs did critisize the management that preparing it took too much dev time, but non of them even implied it was prerendered. You could link me your source for the claim if you have one...
I have played through part 1 of Cyberpunk four times, and every. single. time. without fail, what happens with Jackie makes me cry. For the video, really *really* well made, and great content.
This video is A++, your views was fun to listen to and i'm glad that i am not the only one that love this future world. The quests , characthers, story was amazing. Just running around exploring sucks you into this world, you can easy get lost in it. i deffo subbed to you :D
It does now, bay-bee! With a growing channel of almost 200 subs it's a huge feat to get views that sit right now at just under 4,500. Even seeing it with my own eyes, it's still hard to comprehend lol, but it's great! It's always awesome to see great content reap the rewards! I'm subbed now and just love finding channels on the rise so that when they get big I can just sorta take all the credit. "Yeah, that guy? I was his 200th sub, so ya know, I'm kind of a big deal." 😆
I already forgot about the Bugs, most of them were fixed in a month, the rest were some textures detailes, it's time yo stop bicthing out so much about the launch and apreciate what the Game has to offer
Watching the review after another one in full screen I expected a million views at least - 350 is very shocking. How are you so small with such great content?
Ok and? Silly reason to be mad at people. Doesn't change the fact that the games feels incomplete. Doesn't change that they false advertised. The city is beautiful but is dead ....it's a huge step down from the witcher.
so glad, that I'm not he only one thinking this game is a masterpiece. It's so frustrating seeing people not even giving it a chance after it's rough release. But when you actually play the game it will give you an expreience no other game in the last couple of years could even come close to.
I played on pc it was the only game I played till I beat it and cleared the map! Launch wasn’t even bad in fact some of the patches made the game run not as good for a bit I thought it was excellent in a time where a game can barely hold my interest anymore , I’ve even take super long breaks from elden ring
25:30 The only issue I have with Jackie's death is that it happens too soon from the player POV. It's implied in the game that a significant amount has passed between the start of V's story and Jack's demise. V is very close to him and it's clear they have been through a lot together, but from the player's perspective his death imo happend when I wasn't yet super attached to his character as much as I would have liked to be. He is so instantly likeable and relatable, I think his death would have been that much more impactful (Think Aerith's death in FF7 levels of impactful) if we had spend a bit more time with him in-game.
Since his death was revealed in the promotional material I was convinced it would be the main forking pathway in the game Jackie being alive or dead What we got was under-cooked for such a great character
My opinion (shared by many) is that the V/Jackie montage in the beginning was meant to be a playable chapter in the game. I believe the game would have been much better if the Gig with DeShawn was pushed back until you explored the world doing gigs and building your rep first. Then the heist would make more sense, and you could have a rush to the finish fighting the clock on the time bomb in your head.
Cyberpunk is such a good game, despite the infamous launch. I was waiting for this game for 2 years + a year till I got a gaming PC, and when I finally got to play it I was blown away with it. People should give it another chance... You perfectly described everything I and many people like about this game. You did it justice.
Found this video a few months ago when I was mid way through my own return to the game. Finally finished up and came back to watch. Love the video, and the passion. Cyberpunk was messy, but somehow it's always been perfect.
21:00 not only that ! Its an immersive game, I'm so pleased we can’t see our character as its so immersion breaking. And the concept of Johnny Silverhand in our head is just AWESOME. I didn't like him much in the begening. But MY own REAL feelings evolved, as I was even hesitating on letting him my body. What a piece of art to be able to touch us as much IRL. Mind blonwing.
Just finished this game, and it is such a shame some would never give this game a chance because of the state in launched in. I unfortunately, have not been able to get my hands on any next gen console just yet so I played this on my good ol' PS4 Slim. I took the risk and got it on sale and apart from 1 almost game breaking bug, the game played just fine. Occasional pop ins every now and then, but I learnt to ignore them as I spent more time with the game. CDPR is definitely an amazing studio. They did NOT disappoint with this game. I never imagined getting attached to the characters in this game, but the way the narrative expands beyond the main story is phenomenal. I actually felt like V, desperately looking for answers about the Relic and potentially getting ready to say my goodbyes to the people I met along the way. Gameplay loop was enjoyable, creating my own fun was easy. Loved the journey with Johnny and the ending I got. I just wish there was more. What happens after, you know? In a different world, this game would have launched in a well done state and would have been praised. I still think it deserves accolades for the commitment of the team. It's not perfect just yet, but a lot better than before. Kudos CDPR; can't wait to see what you put out next!
Found your channel from your most recent video immediately smashed the sub button, but then I just had to watch this one. Well done my dude, I put like 400 hours into CP2077 after it launched because the whole setting is just so damn interesting to me. Then mods started coming out and I expanded things further. After finally seeing every life path to a different end for male and female V I took a break for a couple years. Now I'm finally picking it back up to get to that DLC content and holy hell has the modding community done it's thing. The amount of custom quests and interactions people have added is awesome and the amount of new clothing and such is just nuts. Even a whole bunch of new custom cars, I just love to see it. While even I was mad about the launch I still absolutely love this game and really hope they'll be able to do even better whenever they get around to releasing the next game in the cyberpunk world. Anyways, keep up the amazing work, I love well thought out videos like this.
Man don't hit me with The Star like that without warning, now I'm crying. I loved the Sleep option and the details of body language, did you notice how our partners will move in their sleep? it felt so... Human. The human interactions in this game are wonderful and show a lot of passion and just how much time, effort and love was put on this game. Sadly it'll go down on history like one of the worst launches, but everyones experience was different. I have 2 friends, they both bought it at launch, both PC. One had an almost bug free run (110 hours) with only graphic bugs that didn't affect gameplay, the other had a game plagued with game breaking bugs. I myself loved the game, played it 1 year after release, had an almost bug free run (minor graphic bugs). And man, the human conexion I felt with this game... Even more after 2 years of almost complete isolation, I love this game and I'm eager to see what comes next and what will modders do haha. That said, I want to congratulate you, great video, the way you used the music, your narration and overall analysis, nova. Keep it up choom!
Honestly this was my first real story focused game I’ve owned… and I fell in love with it from day one, on a Xbox one, with the bugs and glitches… solely due to the story, I can’t my mind off it even a year later.
How, in the ever living fuck are you not a bigger RU-vid account?! The production quality and your overall commentary is par excellence! Keep up the great work choom
Cyberpunk is special. 2 years later, from this video with Edgerunners, The DLC, and 2.0 all dropping and making the game into a moderate success with a cult fan base to one of the most beloved games of the 2020s almost overnight. And it's 100% deserved. The initial hate train from streamers and youtubers about Cyberpunk did so much harm to the game that it was nuts. I played it on a dying xbox one x, and it was my goty. When i 100% it and then replayed it all again after a few updates, it became a top 10 game for me. The DLC, the anime, learning the lore, then 2.0, and the game is top 5 all time for me. I can't stress enough how horrible it felt being a mega fan of this game the months after release. I begged everyone to play. I'm glad videos like this validated me even if Imagine only finding it 2 years too late
Aug 2024 here. CP2077 is still my favorite game, ever. The Phantom Liberty DLC to me is the BEST DLC ever of any game. Add in the comeback? The epic magnificent comeback of CDPR managed to pull off to fix this thing? Totally awesome.
Couldnt agree more, great review of the game and what makes it special among other AAA titles published in the last couple years. I was never so invested in the story and characters of a game before. And I hope CDPR " never stops fightin' " to make this game itno what it should have been.
@@Mad_Italian I don't know, I became very skeptical. Yeah, it'll probably bring some ''new'' features, but we'll never see a half of cut content back. Once again, they are releasing only one expansion and then it's done.
One of the recent updates to the game added some more interactions with your love interests. Getting text messages from Judy's concerned grandmother as she talks to you to make sure you're good for her granddaughter and what your intentions are, really broke me. Everyone in this game is suffering to some degree, dealing with challenges, unfulfilled dreams and ambitions, but this little moment of bright humanity just really hit me. Thank you, CDPR.
I actually got exactly what I was expecting from the game - characters, setting, story. Because I am a big Witcher fan I knew what the developer was capable of and what they knew nothing about (all their worlds are VERY static, they do not have the chops of a Rockstar to do dynamic worlds and no way was it possible to me they would develop that in a single new game release, not when they were further developing their own game engine, a completely new genre of game and gamestyle). The game could be so much more though and it is kind of sad that they will only make one expansion. They have SUCH fertile ground in the cyberpunk map and game in general I find it kinda sad they will be going back to the Witcher so soon. They should expand on the many, many scifi stories that they touched upon in the various side missions - they basically put the entire scifi-cyberpunk library into a blender and turned it on high)
No game made me feel this way since mass effect. I'm into the world, like I'm playing Neuromancer and that's the best and most interesting gaming experience I've had in the last 5 years. It is also a game that, far from the typical scapist fantasy, kicks me back to the real world trough all the parallels it draws with the darkest aspects of our reality. Fun, beautiful and thought provoking
Cyberpunk is the embodiment of Alt Cunningham, a true potential of the cyberpunk world being fought over by corporations. Great video with a fitting title.
This is really nice, man. You can truly feel how much you love the game, because I love the game and talk about it in the same way. I was excited about it since 2013, but never kept up with the hype, and I have about 4 amazing bug-free runs now. No game has ever made me feel the same way, and I can confidently say it's my favorite. I'm very excited about what the future holds. Also, if you haven't checked out the comics yet, please do! They're sooo good!
SPOILERS AHEAD. Also one thing that I find hard to adress in videos because of spoilers is the endings. You develop a relationship with the game, with the NPCs, even with your V, and at the end, there are no happy endings, you need to chose what to sacrifice in order to get what you think is the highest reward, and that hits hard. It reminded me of the Fallout NV: Lonesome Road ending, where one of your options is to sacrifice ED-E in order to save more lives, but in a complete different level due to the "human" interactions in Cyberpunk.
CP2077 kinda reminds me of Vampire the masquerade bloodlines despite its flaws, bugs and glitches I always go back. The story , characters, combat and the aesthetic are just great for the dystopian future setting.
I have a lot of love for Cyberpunk 2077. One of the first games in a long time to get me misty-eyed. I really hope more people come around to it after all the patches and DLC are finished and it’s reputation builds over time.
As someone who playes videogames for over 15 years now, this is my fav game of all time. Gameplay might be somewhat weak, or the interactivity might be disappointing, but the overall feeling and the story hits hard, and the one particular ending especially hit me on a personal level. I'm kind of sad and glad at the same time that I've waited 2 years to play the game.
I started v1.52 two months ago on SeriesX.And I have stopped playing for some time other games like Fallout 76 after 5000+hours...🙂For me Cyberpunk is the most interesting open world game now...
Seeing this video just rekindled my desire to play CP again, god damn it I'm waiting for new game plus to come out, I already did 2 runs, I want my character to be as I want already, I hope the future dlc taps into the organization behind the Perales's, that shit was fucking great storytelling, I want to go back so bad, thank you for this video!
Though I'm usually not a fan of first-person-only games, Cyberpunk definitely benefits from it. As you mention, there's a level of connection that you as the player can attain with these characters that you just don't reach in third-person perspective. Side note: Glad to see a fellow member of Team Yen :)
The further cyberpunk gets away from its launch, and the hordes of internet haters it brought out, the more people will realize just how great of a game it really is .. in a sea of open world clones, cyberpunk stands out as an origina, unique breath of fresh air in gaming.. and more and more people r beginning to come around to that fact and realize they were lied to by the internet and a lot of RU-vidrs upon launch.. cyberpunk is a gem of the rarest kind
I tried to refund it after playing 1.0 for 40 hours, but here I am in version 1.52, still playing and currently finishing my 4th playthrough...i just can't quit. There is no alternative to this game and the amazing atmosphere the world creates.
@@tacillo 100% agreed .. whether I’m doing missions or just running around the city fucking shit up.. the combat is so damn fun and engaging and intense and visceral, no other game can match it right now
I bought the game day one. I have the poster of Night City on my wall next to my computer. I haven't finished the game. But now, I think I'll give it another go. Excellent video.
I called it even before the game was released: the mod community is huge and is growing every day. As much as people may dislike this game, it's going to be timeless like Skyrim, GTA V, New Vegas, where people are going to be playing it fir years to come.
It's a really a gem of a game. Or more like a diamond. It started rough around the edges but after some preassure and polishing it started to shine. Really amazing experience if you let yourself become immersed in the setting and story. One of the most immersive rpgs out there
After update 2.0, and even somethings in the 2.1, this is even truer! The gameplay is incredible, the Expansion hit even harder, especially with the new ending, the gigs in Dogtown even play like complete sidequests with more story and choices that even expand beyond the gigs... Besides some requested features like siting to drink, cop chases and things like that... It's an amazing game right now!
Ah yes. CyberPunk 2077. The night city where any dreams you come to realize are grinded into dust either buy gangs, or the corps. Came for the neon Left for Panam 10/10
No matter how many bugs and problems this game have, I absolutely love the gameplay, the characters and story. After 400+ hours I'm still can't get enough of Night City
Bought the game recently when it's on sale and man, I thank myself for that. Got a blast with the world, lore, characters. Yes, I encounter crashes and glitches but I keep finding myself jump back to the game. I really got suck in the world CDPR built. I think it's because I play the game at 1.5 , many issues were fixed and I actually didn't set high expectation for the game when I bought it.
I don't know if anyone will care to read this but here goes... At 2am, 30th May of 2021 I finished Cyberpunk 2077, the same week I had finished my school. At the time I had difficult times after fights and arguments with my friends, eventually leading to being kicked out, being slandered across the entire school and being somewhat alone. Stressful at first, but I got used to it, more so, I stopped caring. To make this more emphasising, I will note that I usually don't play story games myself, and prefer to watch them instead. But I decided to try this game out, and oh my was it one of the best decisions I had made. I am not sure if my difficult situation made the game seem better for me than it was but it completely took my mind off what I was going through at the time. I was so impressed and immersed in the city that, as this video shows, you get used to the city, become a part of it like you've lived there for a long time. I've always been a fan of the cyberpunk and synth genre, but this was the best visualised version of it. During the credits I did not even bother to skip, I preferred to listen to Never Fade Away and watch the stars outside of my window. It brought deep thoughts and the realisation of never being able to experience the game like it was the first time was depressing. Even with all the issues the game had, I had still never enjoyed a story game this much, on par with Detroit become human. What I felt could not and still cannot be described with mere words. The game truly was a masterpiece, with the characters, the story, and the soundtrack. Say what you want about its overpromising and under-delivery, but you can't deny that it was an insane adventure full of emotions. I wish there were more playthrough to watch, since I don't replay stories twice there is no point in getting it again. Every time I think let me download it again I end up leaving it on the drive and never using it. But that doesn't change the amazing piece of art this game was. I will never forget it.
Just finished the video, absolutely breath-taking :) In all honestly this video covers so much I cannot explain myself but I agree with all of it. I want this game to get the recognition it deserves, especially after comparing it to the existing games nowadays. My first comment was made when I just started watching, and to finish off I honestly love the way you made the video, with the best tracks from the soundtrack putting emphasis on the chapters you cover, to detailed evaluations on CDPR's work. Lastly 39:24 is the best scene to sum up the game for me, incredible music that takes you out of this world, brings shivers all over my body, almost making me cry, and knowing me that says something. One of the last things I saw and it left a great chapter in my life, giving me a small lesson to overcome my issues.
Glad to see we’ve reached a point in talking about 2077 beyond it’s many bugs and issues on launch and actually get into more substantial areas of analysis for its writing and story.
Despite every technical issues and problems in the game I must say the game have a incredible environment, the visual representation of Night City and overall aesthetics of the game just kills it. You will see very few games will have this much graphical details too it's environment. CDPR actually have some extremely talented game environment artists who handcrafted the world of Cyberpunk, but it's sad to know that the game became a failure only because of bad coding and optimization.
Been following this game since it’s first ever announcement, even after playing it day 1 and going against the constant bugs and crashes, I did not not at all let that deter me from enjoying it, and I enjoyed it every single day. I’m on my third play through and I’ve gotta say, this has been the only game as far as I can remember, that I actually look forward to playing through over and over again. When an open world game actually makes you want to just walk to an objective, just to take in the sights and ambience, I think that says a lot.
I finally played Cyberpunk 2077 when Finally got a good Computer. It was the best game I've ever played. Everything was perfect. The story, soundtrack, sound design, characters, story, all the weapon animation and best of all Night City! CDPR made the most breathtaking Game World. I have never once fast travel, riding on my Kusanagi and vibing with radio was a treat.
I went outa my comfort zone and against my best judgement I pre-ordered it, sadly I will humbly admit I was on that super hype train. I took my time and actually walked most places I needed to go just to soak up the world, and I ended my playthrough with 100 hours, it didn't take me long to figure out how empty and how little immersion there was in the "living night city". But like fallout4 I played the hell outa that game, wasn't the fallout game I wanted but still one of the few that absolutely love it. So I do try and see the positive side of things, even if it isn't what I was hoping for. Cyberpunk fell flat for me, after my playthrough was done, I uninstalled and haven't looked back but outa no where a bunch of Cyberpunk videos are popping up. So perhaps I will give it one more playthrough. But I still feel lied to, and the fact they leaked that they are only releasing one DLC now. I think they have a great concept here, and would love to see them take the time and turn it into the game they envisioned, and what was advertised to me. TLDR : I pre ordered and was a bit upset, however still found some enjoyment, and because of all the vids popping up I will give it one more go.
38:44 That string of mods in Skyrim that allows you to sleep next to followers or your spouse, then waking up to hug them and kiss them is indeed one of the best roleplaying mods I've had in game. ANd seeing that such a feauture is in Cyberpunk really made me want to play the game. But only after CDPR have made the definitive version of it. Thats why I am still holding out on playing it at all.
I recently started playing Cyberpunk 2077 again and I was blown away by what I'm seeing in this game. Now I bought this game on day 1 of release just to be disapointed by how the game ran on my system and all the stupid bugs, so I uninstalled it and told myself nope I'm not doing this again with another game, so I stayed away from it and all the content online till a week or so ago. Oh I should also say I put about 50 hours into it when it before I uninstalled it and stayed away for 2 years. To me what makes this game special is the city, it has to be the most detailed city I've evr seen in a game. I'm really enjoying it now and I'm immpressed by all the work CDPR has done since I last played it as well.
Night City is so well done, its the best city ever made in gaming as of right now. I never get tired walking around or driving around listening the the awesome music in this game.
i played the game around february 2022, so i never experienced the game during launch. i never gave into the hype because i felt something was bound to go awry, but i was still gonna get the game. when i got the game it was on sale and i was kinda excited when i heard that they fixed the game so i knew that it was gonna be a decent experience. my expectations kinda reflected the reviews of the game during launch, but after playing the game i can say the game exceeded my expectation
Definitely subbed not only because I agree but also due to the fact that you’re one of the rare individuals around whom recognize the truth about cyberpunk 2077 as well as the underrated, misunderstood and well put together wholesome masterpiece being of essence that it is. lol okay not that far but still you get the point the game itself is amazing and despite the flaws I’d play this game a hundred times over before I touch majority of what’s being forced in the gaming market nowadays. Keep going with your channel, I pray you prosper with it as well as prosper in life brother. 🤝🏽
Man, Night City is hands down the best map in gaming. Even with all the shortcomings and “cut content”. No other game comes close except maybe Area 18 in Star Citizen. *I NEED MOAR STORY TO TAKE PLACE THERE!!!*
I thought I'd played every mission. But that one with the guy in the prison jump suit is new to me. I've never seen that before. Now I gotta go back and find it.
