The activity of hunting jedi for Darth vader was a pointless endeavour , I fully understand where Sidious was going with this 👏🏾. You already control 90% of the galaxy , you have shooters on Deck empire wide , death troopers , inquisitors , purge troopers , all kinds of storm troopers etc so chase down order 66 survivors in mass by yourself for what ?! 😂

How might things have worked out if Luke had joined forces with his father to destroy Sidious?

They would have went darkside. And sidious would still have returned.

True but Luke would of been far superior as he would of had access to Sidious Holocrons which has access to both the light and dark side of the force due to practicing all sides of the force and not the prognostic view of the Jedi

He would of had access to force storms and the valley of the Jedi while Vader would not of been a broken shell of his former self due to Luke

Also Luke progression was insane he had no training except with Yoda but Yoda still said after he returned he completed his training and adapted to ROTJ Vader style after ESB he also learned the same abilities in Caedus in 3 days in LOTF
