@@Slantopia hes still pretty underground, have you ever heard a destroy lonely song on the radio? and if youre talking about pasto he had hella motion but he fell off so he isnt underground either
@@kenju8929 huh?? not at all Pasto is only 19 years old and the only artists actually experimenting with music now these days. Everyone just wants the same song over and over again but Pasto said f that. We can listen to pasto when we 75 years old and it’s still great music compared to the music today. destroy is the new image of mainstream he has a major label budget and they prolly playing him on the radio in certain states : countries
saying pasto fell off at 19 years old makes me so sad for you. he is literally 19 years old how can you fall off before you even begin. makes me question how old you are
It’s because of Lonely’s production. He has the most avant-garde and crazy atmospheric instrumentals with little details throughout that make the songs click. Just look at Dom, he obviously takes influence but it just doesn’t compare to Lone because it’s mostly samples that are flipped and imitated but it doesn’t compare to NeverEVER or VTMNTSCOAT.
Nah what dom is doing is solid and he’s growing into his sound more. Only reason why he ain’t getting da same love as lone is because he’s lacking authenticity/originality, a strong opium fanbase behind him, and jus simply not as good as lone. His beat selection is top tier tho
@@NFLLimari Yeat not underground but he has his head popped out the damn top of the yard a little. This afterlife album might pull him fully out the soil.
I just feel like we all forget how niche this side of Hip-Hop is, I still ask the average person if they heard of Yeat and they don’t know him. No one really mainstream yet
Underground is a naturally grown audience. Music is so dead now all the secondary artists have major label support so they’re not underground. They just don’t do numbers but they’re not underground
@@styl1ssttt no he ain’t. He is still underground, this is niche side of hip hop, most people who listen to mainstream rap music do know who ken is or who lone is.
I don’t really get lonely specifically. I LOVE hardrock and I like dom corleo, but something about lonely’s voice is so creaky and barely on-key, and most of his newer songs (after 2021) haven’t been catchy to me. I’m not trying to hate, I think his sound is dope and he can be great, I just don’t get the mass appeal. It just hasn’t clicked yet I guess, even tho I was a fan of him in 2020
Am I the only one who doesn't see the hype behind destroy lonely? I'm just not hearing what y'all hear in his music. Not saying he's bad. I just don't believe he's as good as y'all say he is.
didn’t think he was good at all at first, now im a huge fan of his 😂 looked through his discography nd realized he relatable to me.. if you don’t relate to his lyrics or fw his production he might not be 4 u which is fine..
