People who cannot play this mod because it has not as good graphics as D2R are the same who are stuck in a toxic relationship with a good looking partner.
Without getting new players from D2R or other ARPGs, the mod we love will slowly wither to dust. This video is very important for the long term health of PD2. Great work!
One of the most exciting parts for me in PD2 is that I can just pick any class, any skill and go with it. See how far I can manage, farm some gear solo, trade things that I don't need, get to the early maps, get more gear and corrupt some stuff, start blasting maps and so on and on. The sense and feel of progression is much better here, and that works for nearly any skill build in the game.
I played diablo 2 for so ridicilously many hours, countless seasons, and leveled 40+ characters to 85+. and i love d2. And honestly i never though i would ever consider d2 to be a flawed game. But holy damn, Project Diablo 2, is making vanilla diablo look so unfinished. Feels like good old diablo, but with all the changed you always wished for. If i could recommend a game to anyone, i would recommend this mod.
I can’t believe I’m just finding about this now. I played d2 20 years ago, d2r since it came out, I’ve just started on project diablo now. Thank you for this video it really helped me out.
Thanks for making this video. I started playing Diablo when d4 came out a few weeks ago. Got everything I wanted really quickly. Started playing d2r, and am about to beat it on hell for the first time better. I like d2r a LOT better than d4. Stumbled upon the pd2 subreddit today. I’m going to get Diablo 2 + LOD & download this mod, and join y’all!
I've started to play PD2 like a week ago or something but... man, this is exciting. This is so fresh. I never had so much fun playing any mod or D2R since classic D2 (and it was 20 years ago when there is was not many ARPGs). I really appreciate what developers make in PD2, it doesn't feel like a mod, because everything added in game is very natural and perfect. For any fan of classic D2, just try PD2. I promise you, you'll find something for yourself.
I recently fell in love with d2r (really didn't like d3) and bought on all platforms I own just to play the same characters across my bnet account... I suffer from fibromyalgia so kb&m is often not my ideal setup.
Been thinking a lot about giving it a shot, some day I surely will. The more I play d2r the more I see it's flaws (still enough for my greatest game ever though haha).
