For whatever reason I believe at the end of the day I would rather have spent the day wheelin with Jillian rather than like of Britney and a few others.
The whole vibe of this video is just amazing, the music, the stories, the friendliness this is why I follow the channel. No shouty intro's or asking for subscribers, just pure awesomeness!
It's not just the work you guys do that's so interesting (and it really is interesting); but your friends and family, staff and crew, hell even the customers become engaging characters in this simple story of getting people unstuck. This channel is an absolute joy.
How can they track him if there is no cellular phone network in the area. The GPS unit on the dog connects with the cellular network for the owner to track it.
Unfortunately that wouldn't help him from being distracted and running away. Your best bet is to seek a trainer. BUT that GPS collar would be good for both !
@@CreampuffgameZ he’s a little old for training like that. If you’re going to desensitize your dog from distractions it has to be when he or she is younger
This was almost me in April in NV (big dunes). GMC 3500HD Dually. Saving grace was all the things I learned from Matt. Air down, 4 low, get on top of the sand and don't stop. We got out, but the adrenaline was pumping! All I could hear in my head was Matt saying "they had no business being out there in that truck". LOL
The fan stop at the Sand Pit campgrounds is but only one of the many reasons the Crew and Matt's Off Road Recovery channel is so epic! Great people, Great content, Great times! Keep up the Great work!
Yea, I have big European hairs where I live, and even though I have clocked my dogs at over 40 mph, they still can't catch them. They sure come back beat, tail between the legs, and very obedient after, but they always have the 'it was sooo worth it' grin on their face.
After going to Utah and off roading, believe Matt when he says that the sand is fine. At one point I thought my truck was actually sinking while just sitting there. I had my tires down to 12psi, I don't go any lower and they were still to hard for that sand.
i ve never been there but just looking the channel you can see how a lot of people understimate the sand from there , looks super dry and thin a very hard terrain to drive
@@NikoMoraKamu I don’t know if you’ve ever “sand” blasted or worked with glass bead but we used to work with it all the time and it’s so slippery we’d have drifting competitions around the warehouse with the forklifts. Sand hollow sand feels like glass bead or miniature ball bearings. The kids love it and it’s nice when you’re walking through the lake fishing but it can sure suck your car up fast just don’t ever show up there over confident because sand hollow sand will teach you a lesson fast. Luckily I haven’t had to be pulled out but I’ve came close but every time we go there there we see people that drove on the beach and got stuck and are digging out or getting pulled out.
It’s pretty cool when you become famous just for being good people and doing your job really well. You’re selling quality and kindness. This is why I don’t have any regular TV service. You’re one of 3 RU-vid channels that I watch regularly, and now I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Lady's quite cute with her snout perched on the seat like that! Maybe there's a perimeter collar you can find for Max and make the rescue the base? Poor max ( as opposed to poor Matt that had to go get him)
Huntin' dogs just gotta hunt...watched my lab chase a jack rabbit down one canyon and up the other until they were just dots on the horizon. Ah man, was his tongue hanging to the ground when I finally caught back up to him. He just couldn't help himself.
That was awesome.. We need more people out there like you that is not all stuck up and just in it for the money, but helping others and creating new friends is what it's all about. Keep doing what you do!
I was just in Durango Colorado rafting the river talking about how great this channel was and our guide was like ya I watch the channel to. Great channel and content keep it coming.
I really want to say thanks to you, Matt, and the team for being so gracious to your fans and staying who you are even with how popular you are becoming. Can't wait till next May when we road trip out there in my wife's Jeep cause we will be seeing you. (Stopping by though, not "making the call", I hope....lol)
You are becoming a star attraction in Utah. Starting to become one of my bucket lists items. Get stuck and pulled out by the entire MORR crew, meet everyone, get my shirt, ride in the Morrvair. Now that's a vacation!!! Best show ever!
Unlike most of your customers, this guy was smart enough to know once you are going down instead of forward you are done for the day. No sense in burying it to the frame and making extraction more difficult.
6 miles ? That must have been one tired rabbit. Lol. I had a dog like that. I would go camping in the middle of God's country when I was a kid. And I could hear that dog running all night long. ❤ he also used to bring fire wood to the camp all night to. I would get up in the morning and there would be wood everywhere. Lol
If I am ever in Utah wheeling I may get stuck but not on purpose of course. The dude doesn't need to be embarrassed we all like the channel. Who wouldn't .
My pup just passed away a couple of days ago :( so it's nice to see Lady in the video. When I was training my dog to get in my truck, without realizing it, I used the command "load up,"...guess it was in my head from hearing Matt say it often.
I just love how that little jeep, even the morevair looks like an ant pulling a log when they pull out those big vehicles. That just makes me giggle when they do that. That jeep must have some serious gearing to do the stuff it does. Long live the banana...
@@dubious6718 yup, it wouldn't be able to get 75% of the vehicles shown on the channel moving in sand, snow or mud with a regular strap or a chain. Like people always ask why nobody helps when there are 10 people around, well, it's all about having the right equipment at hand.
Hey Uncle Sam!! That stopping to meet & greet your fans is why you are the coolest Uncle Sam on the internet. Stay well & safe Matt, Jefe & all of MORR!
Why would you celebrate that? Sounds like the exact opposite of ride or die, more like undermine and sabotage. Holy crow, cuckery has truly run amok...
@@hermestrismegistus9603 I'm with you man. I have no interest in humiliating/embarrassing my S.O. and wouldn't stand for it if she did it to me. Better to be alone than to feel disrespected by "your" woman
When I come to Hurricane, I’m going to the bottom of the “sand chute” and call Matt from there to get my shirt. 😂. But my wife just wants to drive to Winder. 😂
So Matt, how often do you have to repair where your hitch is welded to the chassis on the Banana? There is a continued strain on the welds securing the hitch and eventually does this show up? Regards Willie
With over 650,000 subscribers your bound to get some fan interaction! You all seem like really nice people that would be a pleasure to meet.....love your vids
What to do about Max, electronic "Invisible Fence" Collar, mount the unit in the Banana and turn it on before you let him out. If he tries to go beyond the limit of the transponder, he will be corrected by the collar.
Yeah.. Very nice couple, Hope to see more of them here in California "Uncle Sam Couple"... Please.! teach us to be nice Nice peoples are "Species in danger of becoming extinct" in California
I just found your channel a month ago. And have been binge watching every since. I worked in Tooele for about a year in 2007. I did a lot of hiking but because I only had a two wheel drive, no off roading.
Bah. Go out there and have fun, take some risks. Don't get caught up in having the perfect equipment first. My guess though, from the full time RVing comment, is they were scouting for camp spots.
Eh, they’re not off-roading, they’re just camped along the reservoir and made a wrong choice of which meandering path to take to get back to the pavement. That’s what happens in the lion’s share of extractions they do at Sand Hollow, it seems. The extremely fine sand just sucks a heavy vehicle down deep, fast.
@@xToddmcx yep, 100%! And being from California they’re used to beach sand which is very different than Utah blow sand, as Matt has explained many a time.
Came across your videos about a year or so ago, watched a few episodes and then some how lost track. I recently came across your channel again, I’ve got to say I’m really enjoying your content, I’ve subscribed so I don’t lose track again!
