Not a lot of research has gone into this video ..the 9 dash line dates back to even before surrounding countries were established ,they have since stuck to fish in these waters but never claimed them as they knew of the 9 dash line.
We do quite a bit of research into all of our videos and try to make them as factually accurate as possible. Most scholars tended to agree that the 9 dash line appeared no earlier than 1935, thus we presented it this way. If this is factually incorrect, we'll aim to do better next time.
