Well, in the lore Archer EMIYA is already stronger than types, beasts and gods, nasu also said that he nerfed EMIYA's powers to not make him so strong. EMIYA is above even the counter force/alaya/Gaya, as it was said in his lore that without EMIYA's power humanity would suffer the inevitable end, alaya with the counter force without EMIYA could not Do nothing. EMIYA guardian is only below arcueid and void shiki.
My guess would be they both ran into each other whilst pursuing the same threat since they would both go after things like dead apostles one to save people and the other as their responsibility to the church and maybe in said confrontation against the threat they were both targeting ciel gets injured and Shiro being Shiro makes it his responsibility to help her (being Shiro and just ignoring ciels immortality does sound like something hed do)
Question. More Archer related. If Archer has no legend and is a CG. Would he gain some fame or stat boost if there was a hypothetical HGW in the future where Archer was hanged? I mean, people would have known his name if they hanged him. Or would becoming a CG erase his whole history from the world?
I believe Shroud of Martin for Archer also protected him against Medusa's Mystic Eyes of Petrification. The way Medusa's eyes work is that they drain mana from user and when their mana hits 0, She turns them to stone. Shroud of Martin was like vacuum cleaner where archer absorbed all the mana energy In blood fort. This is why he did not turn to stone despite staring at her eyes. Archer's Shroud of Martin was definitely designed around killing evil being and Medusa is great example of an evil being. His sword also reflect this characteristic.
@@ginadihutama7109 that is how it works. Something to note is that Medusa's eye are also stronger the lower your magic resistance is. Shirou is human so he actually has 0 magic resistance however thanks to Shroud of Martin. Archer gains some magic resistance. I think Nasu answers this question badly when he is saying the shroud returns everything back to normal. He makes it sound like it reverse-time control. I think what he is trying to say that shroud gives status-effect recovery. In gamer words, If you get burned or cursed, the shroud passive reduces burn or curse. Being Breaker Gorgoned by rider which was turning him into stone is example of Shroud of Martin saving Archer.
@@dodang_9147 The eyes do no drain magical energy as a feature. The ways the eyes work is based off a couple of factors, those being "magic resistance, current level of magical energy and being prepared for the eyes". Archer is getting petrified due to being inside the Blood Fort and being caught off guard by the eyes, if he was prepared in a neutral environment the eyes would do what they did against Saber Alter or anyone else with A rank and above magical energy... reduce all physical parameters by a rank. Also yes it is confusing since it's "Mana Rank" that is actually mentioned as the thing that blocks Rider's mystic eyes but in other sources it says "Magical Resistance" Shirou does have magical resistance just like how every magus does, before he activates his circuits his magical resistance is that of an average human, which is "incredibly low but no non-existent". Archer was not absorbing magical energy from the Blood Fort, the exact opposite was happening and it was slightly nerfing him. Also "Breaker Gorgon" is actually the blind fold which is a Mystic Eye killer/Bounded Field noble phantasm.
@@Lucaintheninjatank Saber was unaffected by gorgon because she has A-rank magic resistance. The same thing can be said about Saber Alter who not only has high magic resistance but also near infinity supply of mana from Dark Sakura. Archer is getting petrified because he had D-rank magic resistance. absolutely nothing to do with being "Caught of guard". The reason why Mana rank is relevant is because higher mana rank results in having bigger mana pool container. The analogy is like water bottle. There is small water bottles, regular water bottles and giant water bottles. Obviously, it takes more time to use up all the mana of giant water bottle vs regular water bottle. This is what Mana rank is. It is important to note that eyes themselves do not drain mana but rather the effect needed to resist being stoned drains mana. Another thing to note about Saber is that Saber also has Mana Burst which specific skill related to spending mana to empower offence or create defence. This isn't to say that Archer has mana burst but every servant figuratively speaking has a type of mana burst to resist being stoned. How much they need to use to resist being stoned varies by magic resistance.
@@dodang_9147 Saber is 100% affected by the eyes, that's literally why Rider can keep up with her since the eyes drop all of Saber Alter's physical parameters by a rank but can't petrify her. Again it's "Mana rank" that matters and EMIYA has a B rank, it's explicitly stated that B rank gets petrified when caught off guard.

This explains why sometimes when we see emiya as a counter guardian he's wearing a white cloaked hood and not the red shroud because he probably didn't get it repurposed until after he became a counter guardian
Tbh, a bit off topic because we are talking about Shirou. But i want your opinion about Miyu being a True Holy Grail. Because from the events of Fate/Kaleid liner 3rei (especially the manga) Miyu is capable of many things that a True Holy Grail can. Does this means Miyu is also part of the root? Or her power can just grant people access to Root that's why people want this 'Child of God'? Because if so, then Miyuverse Shirou will have work cut out for him because everyone will want to use Miyu to further their own means.

I would like to think Shirou got the shroud when the world went to crap and dead apostles and evil beings were on the rise. So Shirou being Shirou would go and hunt these things down. This might lead him to work with the church and executors, which he met Ciel and she gave him the shroud.
Shirou could specifically chose shroud as: 1: it is non weapon so it would make it would cooperate with his hero dream 2: It is easier to wear then some bulky armor and it is better for him to chose to dodge attacks then wear bulky armor because of his increased self-regen 3: it could be harder to copy then other equipment, as keys should be fairy easy to copy.

This is probably going to be lost in the sea of comments but I am wondering if you can make a video about the how the United Nation and Mages associations deal with the post Incineration of Humanity. Like according to them one year had passed for everyone else so it was like the public just woke up and realised one year had passed. Not only that but the event started during the summer but ended during winter so they can't just say it was a world wide glitch since some people will notice the season change. And I am also wondering how they would explain the part two event. According to description after Chaldea escape the branches of the Fantasy tree spread across the planet and the tendrils came down and stabbed every human in the heart and turned them to white dust with only those underground at the time to be spared. How will they explain that?
Okay this question brings up an interesting point and it is really some people should think about and that is what if shirou was in the other fate classes we've seen him as an Archer and as a saber fruitt his possible ancestors and I have seen OC art from a RU-vidr who has fate characters react to the Fate verse they basically had two designs of shirou as a saber add another one of him as a caster so it make me think what would a shiro from each class would be like I mean how he would get it would be simple considering fate does a manga what if of different heroic spirits he summons it wouldn't be farfetched that he would ask them to train him like pretty much it would be shirou from each class originally train from a hero Spirit from each class but it's up to you of what you think but you have a good day and you keep up the good work

in theory he can do it since it's an overload but I don't think it will be effective given the mana required and their utilities would be lower since they won't have the magnetic pull of his favorite swords.
He probably can but kanshou and byakuya are the only weapons he can safely use it without wasting too much mana will it's still being a good boost to the weapon and also not possibly wrecking his body or making said weapon explode
Discarded it im sure. You have to remember how merciless Emiya alter is as a character. This is the same guy that dropped every single person in the Heavens Feel war, killed Taiga and left her child for dead as a result. For gods sake, it is a "holy shroud", he likely didnt feel right wielding it anymore. Much like he abandoned everything else. Kiara's advent was the final straw after all.
Also, just because we can't see it doesn't mean its not there. If you look closely at emiya alters second ascension its the exact same fit, just dyed in black.
