Very well done video and lesson. Really makes you wonder how mad God is with us people of the US, the perversion, corruption, and overall morality is completely lacking. Seeing this story of the disfavor against their whole nation due to just 1 or a couple people should wake us all up and come together we cannot allow open sin to just be fine all while it's corrupting our entire nation

Joshua, like Mars, was the son (Sun) of strife (Midian). He was also, like Mars, the "God of battles." He was the son of Nun, i.e., of the Fish = the Whale, whose head is immediately under the Ram; or, he was the son of the Fishes (Pisces), as, having passed this constellation, he would be very aptly styled the Sun of, or from the Fishes. He was born about the time when Moses fled into Midian, i.e., when Aquarius was coming to the equinoctial line toward spring. He grew up a captive in the brick-fields of Egypt (muddy season, or the three months between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, the period during which Moses' mother was able to conceal her son), where he saw the ten plagues. At the death of Moses, i.e., when the winter solstice had passed from Aquarius into Capricorn, Aries was below the equinoctial line in the lower or winter hemisphere, or Egypt. The Lord (Sun in Capricorn at the winter solstice) spake unto Joshua (Aries on his meridian), saying: "Arise, go over this Jordan (equinox of spring) unto the land (summer) which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel " (Josh, 1.2). This land (summer) extended from the wilderness (the intercalary, or spoken-in days), and from Lebanon (winter) even unto the great river Euphrates (the fruit season = autumn), toward the going-down of the sun " (Josh, 1.4), i.e., it embraced the seven summer months from March to September, inclusive. So, Joshua (Aries passing his meridian) commanded the people (they having first prepared victuals), saying, " Within three days (three months) ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God (Sun in Aries) giveth you to possess it" (Josh, 1.11).

The purpose of this chapter, to be read in close conjunction with ch. 8, is easy to recognize. The Lord, who “gives” the Promised Land to his people, and who has just furnished a striking instance of this in the capture of Jericho, demands of his people loyalty to the covenant he has made with them. When the covenant is violated (see v. 11), Israel receives a setback before Ai, God’s wrath blazes, and his pardon must be gained. Only then will Israel again be assured of victory (8:1). The chief point of the story is made clear at the outset. The writer informs his readers of what the Israelites of Joshua’s day would only discover through defeat, humiliation, and the laborious casting of lots before the Lord. He reports immediately that the Israelites trespassed with respect to the accursed things, and the name of the violator is mentioned, complete with a long list of his ancestors. The word used to describe the offense, trespass (Heb. mā‘al), means lit. “to act under cover,” hence “treacherously,” “secretly.” It indicates a breach of trust (Lev_5:15), generally against the Lord, as here, by purloining or withholding what was sanctified to him. The sin is called here by its proper name, although psychological elements in the process of its commission are not unknown to the writer (see Jos_7:21). In Achan’s confession the same frank admission of sin as an offense against God is found (Jos_7:20). The offense is committed with respect to the accursed things, i.e., the ḥerem which Joshua had pronounced on everything pertaining to Jericho and its inhabitants (Jos_6:17-19). The description of the offense is based on the healthy principle of solidarity. One man is the offender but the entire people are viewed as having committed the trespass, and the Lord’s anger blazes against them. The individual functions within the larger context of the community of which he is a part. Achan robbed the whole nation of the purity and holiness which it ought to possess before God. This sense of corporate solidarity is also found in the designation of sin as a “folly in Israel” (Jos_7:15). Corporate guilt and individual responsibility go hand in hand in this story. Though all Israel is involved, Achan is singled out as the perpetrator of the sinful act. His genealogy is traced back four steps, indicating the author’s concern to expose the sin and point out its full seriousness. Achan’s sin arouses the Lord’s anger, which is said to blaze against the Israelites. The expression “his anger blazed” (“was kindled”) is used of humans (Gen_4:5; 2Sa_12:5), but especially of God (Num_11:1, Num_11:10; Num_22:22). God is portrayed as a devouring fire (Deu_4:24; Deu_9:3). It is not possible on this point to contrast the OT and NT view of God (see Heb_12:29; this anger of God had been felt in the desert (Deu_9:19). Now it is felt again.

GUILT can be a crushing burden. “My errors loom over my head,” King David wrote. “Like a heavy burden, they are too much for me to bear.” (Psalm 38:4) Some Christians have become overwhelmed by excessive sadness, convinced that Jehovah could never forgive them. (2 Corinthians 2:7) Is that conclusion right? Even if you have committed grievous sins, are you so far removed from Jehovah that he will never forgive you? No, you are not Return to Jehovah Guilt-“Cleanse Me From My Sin” PART FOUR Guilt-“Cleanse Me From My Sin” “My new job improved our family’s standard of living, but it also led me into all sorts of questionable activities. I began to celebrate holidays, to participate in political events, and even to attend church. I was inactive as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 40 years. The more time that went by, the more I thought I was beyond Jehovah’s forgiveness. I felt that I couldn’t forgive myself. After all, I knew the truth before I headed down the wrong path.”-Martha. No, you are not! “Let Us Set Matters Straight Between Us” Jehovah does not abandon repentant sinners. In fact, he reaches out to them! In the parable of the prodigal son, Jesus compared Jehovah to a loving father whose son abandoned his family and pursued a debauched life. In time, the son decided to return home. “While [the son] was still a long way off, his father caught sight of him and was moved with pity, and he ran and embraced him and tenderly kissed him.” (Luke 15:11-20) Do you wish to draw closer to Jehovah but feel that you are “still a long way off” from him? Like the father in Jesus’ illustration, Jehovah is moved with tender compassion for you. He is eager to welcome you back. But what if you believe that your sins are too serious or too numerous for Jehovah to forgive? Please consider Jehovah’s invitation recorded at Isaiah 1:18: “‘Come, now, and let us set matters straight between us,’ says Jehovah. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be made as white as snow.’” Yes, even sins that seem as indelible as scarlet dye on a white garment are not beyond Jehovah’s forgiveness. Jehovah does not want you to keep suffering with a guilty conscience. How, then, can you experience the relief that comes from God’s forgiveness and a clean conscience? Consider two steps that King David took. First, he said: “I will confess my transgressions to Jehovah.” (Psalm 32:5) Remember, Jehovah has already invited you to approach him in prayer and to “set matters straight” with him. Accept that invitation. Confess your sins to Jehovah, and share your feelings with him. From personal experience, David could confidently pray: “Cleanse me from my sin. . . . A heart broken and crushed, O God, you will not reject.”-Psalm 51:2, 17. Second, David received help from God’s appointed representative, the prophet Nathan. (2 Samuel 12:13) Today, Jehovah has provided congregation elders who have been trained to help repentant sinners restore their friendship with Jehovah. When you approach the elders, they will use the Scriptures and offer heartfelt prayers to soothe your heart, lessen or remove your negative feelings, and help you to heal spiritually.-James 5:14-16. “Happy Is the One Whose Transgression Is Pardoned” Admittedly, you may feel that confessing your sins to Jehovah God and approaching the elders would be among the most difficult things you could do. David evidently had similar feelings. He “kept silent” for some time about his sins. (Psalm 32:3) Afterward, however, he appreciated the benefits of confessing his sins and correcting his course. A major benefit was that David regained his joy. He wrote: “Happy is the one whose transgression is pardoned, whose sin is forgiven.” (Psalm 32:1, footnote) He also prayed: “O Jehovah, open my lips, so that my mouth may declare your praise.” (Psalm 51:15) Relieved of his guilt and grateful for God’s forgiveness, David was motivated to tell others about Jehovah. Jehovah wants you to experience the relief of a clean conscience. And he wants you to tell others about him and his purposes, not with feelings of guilt, but with sincerity and deep joy. (Psalm 65:1-4) Remember his invitation “to get your sins blotted out, so that seasons of refreshing may come from Jehovah himself.”-Acts 3:19. The hardest part of coming back is asking forgiveness for all the sins committed. But finally, we can approached God in prayer and asked him to forgive us. It’s hard to believe that years can pass, before we return to Jehovah. So after many years, someone can be given another chance to serve God and be back in his love.” 🙏🙏🙏

Jericho was the 1st city the children of Israel conquered. It was very clear that GOD through their leader, Joshua, had forewarned them to observe the Law of the first things. In this Law, the 1st born son in every family of Israel, belonged to GOD and must be offered to GOD. Similarly, every precious thing and valuable thing in Jericho were GOD's property, and not permitted to be taken by any man of Israel. Achan stole from the LORD GOD, despite being warned beforehand.

Stupid question, sin is a spiritual seed desease in all peoples desire as they in their mothers womb. Sin does not mean it is a mistake , or is sins more than 1 sin, sins is 1000's iniqity we work or do from tranfression from our hearts or desire unto our minds or soul. It not a correct english word saying we sin, sins is iniquity, sinner means born of man by our morther has sex with and not born again living by the spirit of God. Sinned is a carnel mind made up idea of a mistake of doing someone wrong. Because a desease does not do the evil, the person does by worshipping self not God.

The Ram is so important to Jewish myth. Battle of Jericho (Lunar Month.) Joshua Joshua, having obtained all necessary information by means of his two spies (the two days to be added to each of the twelve lunar months), and having staked off, by the twelve stones, the Sun's ecliptic into as many equal parts, and taken every other precaution necessary to insure success, was now prepared for his ensuing campaign. His first battle was against Jericho. This is a collective name, having for its root, jerah = the moon. Jericho may, therefore, mean the four quarters of the moon, or the four weeks of the lunar month. But Jericho was straightly shut: "none went out, and none came in" (6. 1). The Lord (Sun) however, gave it into Joshua's hands. Seven priests (seven summer constellations) were appointed to bear as many trumpets of rams' horns (Aries during each of these seven months) about the devoted city (lunar month). These rams' horns the priests tooted about the city every day (month) for six days (months). On the seventh day (month) they compassed the city seven times, tooting their rams' horns as they went, i.e., they recalled all the summer months to view (feast of tabernacles, or of the ingathering) in that one month, when the city (summer) fell down flat, and the people at the command of Joshua, shouted " Amen (Oh, Ram), glory to the Ram,” as he went down in the west. All that was in the city was utterly destroyed, save Rahab (or Virgo, which became a day constellation), whom notwithstanding her slip of chastity, Joshua saved alive with all her household, and all that she had, and she dwelleth in Israel (i.e., she is one of the four constellations of summer) unto this day (6.25). Thus, perished Jericho, or the lunar month, and the calendar month of 30 days being firmly established, the year consisted of 360 days. Jesus is called "the Amen" aka the Ram Aries. Abraham (the sun and I'm sure you already know he is the Latin Jupiter/Greek Zeus) "kills" the ram and roasts him on the altar (aka the constellation Ara). Aries, the Ram, is the Hebrew God. Take a look at the Ram headed Zeus Ammon/Jupiter Ammon. A common name of this Ram is Amen. Jesus is called "the Amen" in the N.T. The screwball christians think amen mean I agree. The "killing" aka setting of the Ram (Aries constellation) became the crucifixion of Jesus in Egypt (winter). They can't get enough of this killing business and they will crucify the Lamb at the passover from Egypt (winter) to the Promised Land (summer). As Aries rises from below the equator to above, he gets killed and we eat Ham (Taurus) and have a merry East er.

@@harveywabbit9541 I've never got past the first line of the bible. Until the god character Yahweh is demonstrated to exist as a sentient being in reality in real-time, the book about him is fiction.

@@atheistcomments Yahweh is also Jupiter and the God Jupiter never was. Religion is a synonym for insanity. But it does bring in the money for the crooks.

Do you have any evidence that supports your deity is not imaginary? Were the Greek gods legend or real? Were the Egyptian gods real or legend? Were the Roman gods real or legend? Were the Aztec and Mayan and Hawaiian gods real or legend? How about the Norse gods... legend? You see, all cultures invented gods to interpret and answer what man could not before we had science for valid, satisfactory answers. The problem with yours, as the rest of them, is that you all make outrageous claims and it makes your belief as equally ridiculous as the other god believers.

The amount of actual history, in the bible, is near zero.

Clearly, you have not met him. If you had, stupid would not come out of your mouth. The interesting thing is the numbers of people who have gone to the tortures and death rather than deny what they knew versus you who have nothing but your erroneous opinion. You could find out but it is unlikely that you will. Change always requires humility…I’m sorry for you but we all make our own decisions. On these decisions our destinies are based. I will ask him for you this one time.

Now I have one for you. What kind of evidence do you have for carbon dating? The theory goes that a carbon atom will decay at a steady state provided there is no cold, heat, ice, wind, water. You get the picture. So we measure where these atoms are and then estimate the age of a frozen Wooly Mammoth, a human body that fell off the Alps, the shroud of Turin. Who has actually measured the rate of decay of a carbon atom over a prolonged period of time, say 1000 years, 5000 years, 100,000 years. The answer is no one. And yet you have blind faith in carbon dating. It’s also true that the face of this planet doesn’t hold anything at a constant moderate temperature without wind, rain, etc. frankly you have way more faith than I do. I believe the God of Israel because I have met him. You believe in carbon dating because… I can’t imagine why… It’s a supposition on top of supposition on top of supposition without any scientific data.

"Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." - Joshua 24:14-15 (NKJV)
