Was watching one of these sermons, glanced down just a little, seen the comment, dont go backwards....which is what slowly has been happening to me. Something I've noticed, been telling myself to work on, but the more I tell myself that seems to be the more I do. So I just need prayer from others please, strength and above all else, Christ

Sometimes we serve better when we have gone through the situation. Going through depression and anxiety while helping others helped you help them from a point of personal understanding
@@rabelaninetshisaulu2162 You are so right! I became a counselor because of my own struggles with anxiety. I was literally my first patient. When I first noticed the anxiety I started to question my behavior and asking God why was I the way I was and when he started to show me things and open up my understanding and started to free me from things I said Lord I want to help other people do this and he led me into the profession of counseling.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thank you so very true. You know I've been praying for a certain person for months now but nothing changes. I've pretty much have given up on them. I'll still pray for them but it's hard to even be around such a negative person.

False preachers! I was introduced to Elevation Church on RU-vid. I don't have Blind Faith. You're the only preacher that I think is 100% real but not 100% right all the time. No one is. Thank you for making sense of God's word! Thank you for holding your hand out to people like me and others instead of pointing fingers at us. I have enough testimonies to make volumes of books. We can easily get entrapped by our own fears. But when things seem like too much to handle, we need only turn to God to remember that we are safe in His hands.
Don’t run from your fears face then head on.. Most people are comfortable with there fears scared of failure we’ll don’t even try. Scared of heights don’t go flying..
So the children and women that are sold and trafficked is part of the plan? Bombings, murders, rapes all part of a plan? Or are you going to say it's the enemy's doing?
You are so honest about your insecurity and saying you have enough going on in your head. Coming from a pastor this stood out because I understand. It's a battle of it's own. God matches our thorn to our calling. It makes sense how it torments us but we can choose to let it mentor us. Praise God. We fall, but we will also rise with the king.

I needed this. Right now I consistently need a reminder of God's strengths, intentions and love to get by hour by hour. He is the reason I am here. I need him. I need him. I really need him.

God wants us to grow and thrive, find strength in your weaknesses with God beside you. What we see as weakness God wants to use to strengthen us and grow us. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your GOD, I will STRENGTHEN you, I will HELP you, I will UPHOLD you with My righteous right hand.

I love the fact that you freely share that you are human too. This helps me so much. Sometimes church needs more life application versus rich tradition.
This really called to me from your sermon - "You gave me a gift of realizing how much I need God." One of my obstacles was to seek approval from my earth father. It took me many years to realize that he could never show me that and to just Love him and feel Gratitude for what he was capable of giving to me. Thank you God for your approval is all I need and I will continue to work on myself to be worthy of such Love. May we all observe and appreciate another beautiful day!
This totally creeped me out because I wasn’t even on my phone, but when I was trying to put it somewhere, my phone somehow got on RU-vid and this video started playing. I’ll admit I’ve been struggling lately because I’m dealing with something that has been an issue for a long time. Over the years, this issue seems to come and then go for a while, but really, it’s been dormant until the right situation awakens it. I don’t know how to deal with it because it really is something that can damage my relationship with God. If I’m going to be even more honest, it already has. I’ve gotten so angry at God and pushed myself away from Him because it seems torturous for Him to let me have this issue for years and not fix it in the ways only He can. Please pray for me to see this however God sees this
You were able to express in words what I've been feeling for years. I've come to the conclusion that God is still working on me and He's still using me so no matter what happens I trust that He is not through with me. It's extremely hard and I sure don't want to be stuck in this place for years to come, not even for another minute. I refuse to.
If its anything that causes you to move away from God, you must have Faith and Trust that its best to let it go. Your soul will find peace in watching some more of Stevens clips. Now, is the best time to wake back up to God. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you and direct the path you are to take. Believe that God has already predestined your future and that our discomfort comes when we try walking our own path. Above all Pray non stop and rebuke the enemy in the Name of Jesus Christ!

This last year I asked God to give me patience, my stepdad said oh no don't ask for that. I said I needed it, now I'm in the depth of my hardest trial. I will make it out alive and better. Because God is always good and He's working great things through me for His glory! No matter my thorns, I can say I was never alone for He is with me. He is the warmth I need in this winter storm. I may be in the storm, but the storm is not in me. He is opening my eyes to what I've been turning away from my entire life. Thank You Jesus!

God spoke taught me this exact lesson years ago on a work trip after the enemy tried to overwhelm me with guilt and shame after doing something displeasing to God. The enemy tried to convince me I couldn't ask for forgiveness AGAIN, after what I just did, BUT God somehow told me that I can get on my knees right now and repent. So I did, and the very next morning I watched a sermon by you, probably this exact one, and God began to reveal to me this very lesson. 🙏🏾
The enemy job is to let you feel defeated. The devil first attack your mind because our power is in our mind. We as Christians when we feel attack we should plead the blood of Jesus . I hope you know that your love and no weapon form against God children shall not prosper.

That's the first step, repent, and know that's it's a journey. Not an overnight thing. And each day make up your mind to choose Christ. I have been praying and going to rehab and pouring out bottles and praying and praying and reading and praising that God remove my urge for alcohol and help me overcome this temptation. This stronghold. Not yet. I fight every day! I need more prayer from anyone reading this! I need to be freed from it! I believe I will. I hope I will
Wow, I woke up this morning and this was the first thing I saw. I have had Thorne in my side for years. That is to help the lost. Everytime I get a job working with group home children, teenagers and pre adults or the homeless mental health community I loss my job. Because I have a heart. I help them learn to read, write, new skills, cooking, showing love and teaching them to own their own disabilities and mental health with drug addiction. That they have to see why they became a attracted to that substance. But I have not been able to find work as of yet again in those fields. In the mental health care system I have education and skills from working in. I need to uh understand what God wants me to do.
I currently am suffering from issues you're trained to handle and solve. I'd love to talk to you. Your ministry may be around you and you not know it. We all need a paycheck and have Bill's to pay. But you can be not only a free blessing to others and minister in need, but a priceless one. This world needs more people like you. I speak from being one on the needing side.
It was very liberating to hear you say your thorn is/was self-loathing. It's something that plagued me for years. I'm overcoming it now with God's help.
This is the most biblically sound sermon I've heard Pastor Steven preach. Really good. Sometimes the thorn we are given can be very frustrating to live with, yet in our weakness God is glorified.

I have recently lost both of my parents, and it really been rough. But I have over a year clean and serene off of mind altering substances and by the grace of God I shall never return to that way of life. Amen, pastor! In every sermon that pops up throughout the day and other devos I come across and people I talk to, there's a common theme: the Fathers heart can be trusted even when He offers no explanations. So I ask myself when I feel the pain surfacing again, when I feel hopelessness raising its deceitful head, and all I'm going through begins to overwhelm me: do I trust His heart? And it centers me again.

Torment...mentor. I must push and keep faith through the storms. Rise within wisdom from traumatic experiences. Give me Grace, my God so I can rid this thorn. I trust in God through every second of the process.
I am so thankful for Pastor Steven’s boldness and sincerity about his testimony. The way he exposes himself humbly and boldly expressing his experiences as not only a Christian in this world, but a Pastor and a real person, makes him so relatable as he shows us by example how to apply the word to our lives through faith,though not without challenges. This ministry is so relevant. God orchestrated and necessitated it for times like these. Thank God for this ministry and I pray for Pastor Steven’s strength to continue pressing forward. I’m sure his calling as a leader isn’t easy.
When somebody told me a long time ago, never pray for patience I immediately started praying for it because I know that God would help me through the difficult process of that and in the end I want to have patience because it helps me be less stressed angry and frustrated. I have more peace and peace for this anxious heart is valuable to me

I'm sooo tired Furtick. Waking up every day in chronic pain and or paralysis is the scariest feeling. I never know if I can walk each day when I wake up. Increase my faith Lord Jesus.... migraine all day due to old neck and shoulder injuries. 😢😢😢

I see your preaching at different dates than originally said but you and He speak to me,my insignificance. I was born with spina bifida, developed hydrocephalus, scoliosis,and I’ve thought I was dead 11+ times. I am 52 years old. I go by Murphy because of Murphy’s Law. The Devil has spent most of my life trying to destroy me. I used to blame God until you reminded of the devil. Thank you.
I have been in Church all my life, however it's only now that I'm able to understand & realize it's very very dangerous to NOT 🚫 live w/ Christ in your live. So I'm 46 & Steven Furtick gave me a gift of realizing how much I need God. I'm 46 & now living w/ Christ in my daily life. I'm 46 & still making mistakes but I am 46 & still learning how to be a better Christian, better wife, better mother, sister daughter, . God has shown me so much Grace , Thank You God for loving me , waiting on me but God I'm here & I know your with me , & HEAVEN has come to invade my life and fight for me. Thank You to Steven.
