WHY DID GOD PUT A CAT IN YOUR LIFE? the spirituality of cats 

I never expected to have a cat in my life. But at the end of 2019 a Grey 3 legged cat showed up in in my backyard. I decided to feed and care for her. Little did I know that she would bring her daughter, and then another one and another one. All 8n all I took care of about 20, kittens included. Now I have a mother and her 6 kittens in my home and wouldn't have it any other way

My cat's healed me. I can't imagine life without them. They give meaning to my life.

My cat heals me and i believe she is sent by God.

I never had a pet. Always liked cats. One day, when I was 41 years old, I prayed to have a cat. (I am Christian). In about three hours, there was a beautiful calico kitten at my front door. She was my pet for 20 years! It had to be an answered prayer. No cat ever stayed by my door, before that.

I never was a cat person,but in 2022 during my divorce from a 28yr marriage a Tabby came into my life.. I was all alone and was going through depression until Delilah "LaLa",then came Drake my black cat,now I can't sleep at night without them laying and cuddling with me.. I'm soo grateful for God bringing me my little loves ❤️

I never use my flip phone. I don't like phones. But I have one in case my wife calls or in case of an emergency. I am an artist and I often leave (forget) my phone at the studio. Once we were about to drive out of town and I thought, I should have my phone, for some reason it seemed important. So we drove back to my studio to get the phone. It was snowing. My wife parked the car, for some reason, across the street from studio, and on the step, half covered in snow, was a little gray fur ball. We both realized at the same time that it was a Kitten! I jumped out of the car and picked her up only to see a 2 lb kitty with her eyes completely crusted over. It was a wonder she could see at all. So we drove directly to the vet clinic to have her treated. I knew she was a gift from God without doubt. Her name is Pearline. She wasn't a kitten either, she was starving and the vet said her growth was stunted. She is fine now. Full sized, with a sweet and affectionate disposition. Amen.

These heavenly angels are sent to us to become our earth angels and they truly rescue us. I have been rescued by my beloved cats a zillion times.

I"m 64 years old,single and I know God placed my cat in my life.She showed up at my back door,feral,in labor and scared,asking me for help was probably the scariest for her.She had 1 kitten on the way to the second animerge(the first one said they were too busy).She had 2 more at the vets.It was during the height of covid,the vet had to come out in the parking lot and take her in from me.All went well,the vet didn"t even charge me!My landlord & his wife adopted the 3 kittens and paid for all the shots that I had the vet give them.They"re beautiful people.I have Marley(the mother),she"s a great cat & I love her to death.God was DEFINITELY,involved.

I’ve been clean for 2 yrs now. Got 2 kittens and it was them that made me want to change. I have always loved them so much. I’ve over dosed 6 times and the last time was the only time paramedics were involved. I was hit with Narcan 3 times and my friend said there was zero response and she was screaming “Kim wake up”! over and over again. Nothing. I was blue and had purple lips. They were getting ready to take me to the hospital and she screamed in my ear “who is gonna feed your cats”? She said my arm flung up and down and my eyes started to flutter. I believe had she not said that, I would be dead. Paramedic told her to keep repeating that and that’s what brought me out of it. Gawd I love them. I’m so grateful I was able to love something so much and I believe God sent them to me. They love me too ❤️😉

I found my baby boy 10 days after my Mommy passed away this May in front of her Church. 💜💜💜 He is my Blessing from God and my Mommy 💜

I have always been a dog lover but since adopting a cat from a neighbour who was moving away I have to say Oliver has made a great difference to my life as I have clinical depression so find him so calming and peaceful to be around.Cats are wonderful.❤️😊👌

I've had pet cats for almost all of my adult life. I have multiple cats. In the not so distant past, I was in an accident where I was hurt very bad and I'm handicapped because of it. My cats sensed my needs and we're and have been by my side 24/7 ever since. They are definitely gifts from God .

My beloved black cat Moby had an outside enclosure connected to a temperature controlled trailer under a tree out in the country where he would love to lay and watch the wildlife as he was very I’ll and in and out of emergency visits to the vet. His doctor decided with us after seeing a specialist that it would be best to end his suffering in a couple weeks. During this time another black female started coming around and sleeping on top of his enclosure and staying close to keep him company, but never direct contact as he was very fragile. We live in the middle of nowhere so where she came from I don’t know. Weeks after he passed she would come and eat and visit and then one day I’m in the yard and here she comes with 5 solid black kittens, solid black like her and my Moby trotting into the yard. He was fixed , were not his 😂 It warmed my heart because I think Moby was worried I would be lonely without him and sent me 5 little trouble makers to ease my pain. 💗. He is buried under that tree and generations of cats have come and shared his yard and home ⭐️

My cats keep my heart open. I am fortunate to have them in my life. I once had two cats who were soulmates. They loved each other from the minute they saw each other. They bumped noses the first time they looked at one another. It was an honor and privilege to live with those two beings and experience that kind of absolute love in my life. I’ve had cats ever since I was 2 years old. I’m 70 years old now and have had over 30 cats in my life! Presently, I have 3 indoor loveable cats! A 3 year old grey and white tabby, a 7 month old orange tabby, and my extremely loveable and caring part Siamese, Simie-baby! He takes care of me! He sleeps next to my pillow, he loves the body massages I give him, he loves to hear how handsome, sweet and soft he is. If I’m upset, Simie will follow me around head butting me letting me know he’s there for me! He’s absolutely the most loving and caring cat I’ve ever had. I love my emotional support babies! I can’t imagine life without them! They love having each other as brothers, and they entertain me sooo much when they play chase and gently wrestle! I love my babies! ThankYOU LORD for my fur babies!

My daughter loved cats, had two. I have them now. They are lovable and I enjoy them. I have always sneezed around them but i put up with it now. They talk to me. The bigger black cat Cuddles talks a lot and demands a lot. Mishka is smaller and timid and a pile of playful mischief. I am old now and had a cat when I was young. It's a new experience. Yes they heal me. But I wish they had healed my daughter.

I struggle with depression and sometimes with strong thoughts of suicide. Sometimes I’m sobbing, and both of the cats that are a part of my family, will come to me. I will always be grateful to them, they will go to heaven, I hope I make it to see them.

My tuxedo cat knew something was wrong before I was diagnosed with breast cancer. He would through himself over where it started. All during my treatments and being in bed day in and out he stayed with me. On top of me like he was trying to fix it. He became extra extra clingy but it's ok. He loves me that much. Yes He is a gift from God. Its funny now but when I really lost my hair he did a double take and just stared and stared 😮

I've enjoyed taking care of cats all my life. God brought my first boy into my life after the death of two of my fur babies. I didn't feel quite ready when this happened. He was 6 weeks old abandoned & found in a neighbors tree. The little thing tugged at my heart strings. He is four now but it has been a difficult experience for us both. I keep trying to learn & make it all work out. I just feel he is bored & unhappy and doesn't care for me much. My husband makes the difference here for him.

Love this...Somehow, I ended up with two cats. I'd only ever had one dog in the 80's. Two years ago, my daughter wanted a kitten and a litter just happened to turn up. We took one, but I felt we were supposed to take two. Unbelievably, a couple of weeks later, his brother arrived next door. He was the runt of the litter and was given away on FB...My neighbour just happened to take him...Coincidence?... Once they were re-united, they wouldn't be apart, so he became our second cat. My daughter subsequently went flatting and "Dad' was left to look after them...Having them opened up a new world for me and I love and care for them both ...They are confidants provided by the universe to help in these chaotic times...My lions...I wouldn't be without them...

God brought me my cats because he knew I would take good care of them and my cats needed me as much as I needed them.

I found P-Nutt visiting my best friend in Northern Cal, her aunt had a litter. He passed away 3 months ago, he was 16. A year before my friend passed away, she took me to a thrift store, where I found some Asian style art work, of a white cat with a black tail. 2 yrs ago, I found an abandoned 5 week old kitten hiding under a truck, scared and crying. I brought her home. She's white with a black striped tail. Looks almost exactly like the artwork. I believe Snowy was Heaven Sent. Snowy crawls under the covers to snuggle EVERY night/morning. It's the only time she purrs.

My fur baby.. i dont hav kids of my own.. 4yrs back.. a cute little kitten appeared in my courtyard.. i heard his meow.. i made a noise n there 1 month old boy came running to me.. he was sick.. vets said it will be difficult to save him.. then i took care of him orally feeding him.. every now and then.. gradually he became ok.. He brings so much joy into my and my mother's life. I also feed the stray cats that come home.

I lost my best friend (a cat) this summer, and against my best judgment I chose one from the local shelter. He has been a godsend. My standard practice is to let the cats that need the most help find me. I have 5 now all are special I would have more if I could. So I rationalized that Johnson passed to make room for another, and I treasure the time I spent with him.

I am a "cat person" ever since I was 7 years old. I'm 50 now. I have two. Both want to sleep with me and purr even without me touching them. I LOVE them and know they both love me. Cats do not get the same love, from shelters, as dogs. They are smarter than dogs. Not so demanding as Dogs.

About a year and a half ago, a little Ginger showed up on our property. We named him Gypsy. He was soooo tiny (lol). I believe he was sent by God, as the day he showed up, I was feeling especially "blah", and needed a little hug from God. I know it sounds corny, but Little Gypsy is such a JOY!! I believe he gives us what we need, when we need it.

Since humans are awful to be around, for some of them, I only believe in the love I receive from animals. They sense it too that I am a good person
