gogeta knows how to deal with people like broly he only used ssj1 first to see how muchg stronger broly got in that hour and after seeing broly ssj1 being on the same lvl as gogeta ssj1 and even unlocking LSSJ what was in terms of pure power stated to be close to ssjb lvl gogeta he skipped ssj2 3 ssjg and went ssjb and after seeing that even ssjb cant put broly down easliy and seeing broly power up even more gogeta ssjb started going for the kill like he made broly his last power up look like a power down 😂

It's actually smart. Testing him as goku and vegeta was counterproductive. Using a powerlevel that broly couldn't match in time is the only play other gogeta might have gotten himself beaten or killed if he toyed around too long
@@winterace2.051 the reason why they defused is because it goes greatly beyond trunks and gotens actual power. they don't even have ssj2 therefore the fusion is literally going even further beyond. When gogeta used ssj or ssb there were no bad side effects as Goku and vegeta have those transformations.Goku has kaioken therefore I don't doubt that gogeta would be able to try it without the fusion time shortening. Ofc there'll still be the usual kaioken disadvantage. And for ssj4 gogeta ppl say that he has a more divine version of ssj4 also it's not canon Edit: I'm tired of people not listening to what I'm saying. No, it's more like "because the newest form is always the more marketable one". I know Ultra Instinct is technically the newest form when it comes to the anime timeline (up to Super Broly), but consider that Goku didn't master it yet in the anime. Sure, he got the proper form out of it, but is yet to learn how to willingly go into it like he does in the manga. So blue is the next best thing. Same reason for Vegito going into blue instead of God. I also think they don't have the fusions go into Blue Kaioken or Blue Evolution because they wanna have a more unified style for fusions, so because these are exclusive to Goku and Vegeta respectively, instead of a shared power, it's just ignored. So the threat is always just base blue fusion level. Especially considering the timer gets lower the higher the form is, when it comes to Potara. If Vegito lasted that little in the anime only in normal blue, imagine if he stacked Kaioken or even further on top of that 💀
Yeah, he should be capable to use any transformation that both Goku and Vegeta can do. As mentioned in this video, going blue was the quickest way to beat him not giving him time to adapt as he did to Goku and Vegeta's SSG AND SSGSS
ofcourse he can. fusions can use powers both individuals cant use just look at goten and trunks both couldnt go ssj3 but when they fused and became gotenks they easliy became a ssj3 with 0 trouble its the same for gogeta and vegito they can easliy use ssjbe or ssjbkk20 and probably even ue and ui but the thing is it will drain away their time way to fast like vegito at ssjb only lasted 5 maybe 10 minutes and gogeta only has 30 minutes and it will drain a bit of his time aswell and remember when gogeta is born he isnt goku or vegeta its a complete new warrior with his own personality the only thing he got from goku and vegeta is all their powers with a fusion multiplayer on top of it what is his own

Broly was still eating them attacks and standing up gogeta even used his full force kamehameha what would have ko him but broly was just saved by the wish and even after that one he still had time to deal with frieza like we didn’t even see him defuse at all and he only has 30 minutes (keep in mind that he started in base went ssj1 for a while too) vegito was a different story he really launched a couple attacks and defused immediately while having a hour of time. Both are the other side from the same coin at the end 😂 one has more time but his time gets waisted faster in ssjg forms. The other has less time but his time doesn’t get waisted that much in ssjg forms. Ssg/godki is pathetic in super, a universal level power boost getting surpassed by asspuller literally ruined it's reputation beyond repair, heck even ui and ue(aka upgraded ssg) got one shotted by asspullers

I think people forget that Broly's Potential and Growth has a *limit* just like everything else in Dragon Ball. People nowadays overrate the hell out of Broly's Potential and Growth because of what was shown in the Broly Movie. If you have a big enough power gap over Broly, then Broly will not be able to catch up. Broly only grows and improves to the point where he surpasses his opponent thats within the range of how much he can grow. SSB Gogeta while being surpressed and while toying with Broly during at least the whole first half of their fight was completely demolishing and dominating Broly to the point where Broly couldn’t even defend himself or even touch Gogeta, plus we also have to consider the fact that even with Broly's growth and potential, if you are strong enough to be able to hurt him, Broly will be taking damage overtime, therefore will continue to get closer and closer to the point where he can no long fight back and or get back up as seen with SSB Gogeta
Or it just feels better to say SSB Gogeta than SSG Gogeta lol. The powergap between SSJ and SSG is massive, Im sure it would've been enough if Gogeta went instantly for the kill, he was mostly playing with Broly in SSB before using his full power.
My biggest thing with it is that getting to ssj god is only achievable by ceremony. Ssj blue is also only possible to achieve by knowing what god ki feels like inside of you… so in the case of broly I feel like he would be able to process what red and blue are, and that he would be able to get into ssj blue since he knows the power of ssj god by combat

Super Saiyan Blue Was Literally Called Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Which Just Means That It's A Super Saiyan Stacked On Top Of Super Saiyan God, So Broly Wouldn't Be Able To Stack SSJ On Top Of SSG If He Can't Do SSG, You Can't Go To SSB Without Going Through SSG First. It Just Doesn't Make Sense.
I don't think y'all understand the power gap between ssj and ssjgod, Gogeta went from ssj to ssjblue, even with ssjgod the result would've been the same, he could've also used ssj2 and if ssj was tanking ssj Broly, ssj2 Gogeta would've closed the gap albeit not entirely and ssjgod would've gone far beyond, I genuinely think he didn't use it coz the writers didn't want it. Broly fought ssjblue longer than any Goku and Vegeta's form and yet wasn't able to transform coz he had apparently reached his peak, his body was probably at stress and couldn't take any more transformations at that point just like any saiyan has a limit to the number of transformations they can reach in a given fight, so Gogeta tapping into ssjgod wouldn't have made it any different.
No. I severely disagree with you. Gogeta as a Super Saiyan was more than capable of taking down full power Broly, but the makers of the movie wanted to make the final showdown more flashy, thus they resorted to using Gogeta Super Saiyan Blue. By saying that Broly could've caught up with God Gogeta, you are simply disrespecting the Super Saiyan God transformation.
Make sense because if Gogeta use Super Saiyan God Broly would become even more powerful, so powerful that perhaps not even Super Saiyan Blue would defeat him
I really love the fact that both Gogeta and Vegito are two separate people entirely. Theyre not a Goku mix Vegeta, theyre a new being on their own, he is smart enough to realise he cant let Broly grow like how Vegeta and Goku fcked up. Instead he creates a huge of a gap to wipe Broly entirely.

this was indeed a smart move and fun fact near the end of the fight broly was able to block some attacks from gogeta and even mange to recover fast enough to attempt to fight back during the gogeta beatdown broly meanged to block gogeta's kick before the impact of the kick blew him back and as gogeta was trying to finish broly was getting less unshaken by gogeta attacks to the point he was actually trying to attack back so gogeta using god would of probably made broly gogeta blue if he gave him the time to grow
I feel like that’s a very good point. Although technically speaking, I think he could’ve gone even further. There’s Kaioken and ultra blue. He didn’t use either of those against them so I feel like he didn’t go all the way out, but he did take him serious to an extent. (at least in my opinion that is.)
Based on what I know about both versions of fusions; the higher the power level, the shorter the time in the fused state. Gogeta had to work quick or the fusion might have worn off.
Also gogeta is on a strict time limit, and they’ve seen that the god forms can drain time limits with vegito. So it’s likely they also went blue so that they wouldn’t have to worry about the time limit.
The real answer to that is unfortunately just lazy writing lol. Toriyama and Toyataro both felt that ssg didn't make sense to use anymore and actually forgot about it at one point!
Basically, he did what every character should do, according to power scalers and versus battles: go right to their strongest form and low diffing his opponent by sheer stats difference.
I think it's probably the same reason in the Fusion Reborn movie his power scale was so high he doesn't need to go through the breakthrough phases. Being that of two powerful warriors with already high level of ki, it's really to keep him contained that of a "fair" fighter
i don’t believe that’s the point. they would have if they wanted to, but they knew if they stalled the fight broly would hav eventually caught up in terms of power, so they had to make a power difference sizable enough to where he couldn’t close it IN TIME and then end the fight as quickly as possible before he gets too strong to just slap around
@@z4y_w467 No he wouldn't. That's pure headcannon. Broly hit his limit will full power super saiyan. Literally was exhausted and unwilling to fight after gogeta hit him with the combination. Gogeta was the one being the aggressor seconds before meteor explosion.
The real world explanation is it was the climax of the movie and they wanted the most powerful form for it for merchandising and dragging out the movie so he could go through each form would have hurt the pacing.
It was one thing if Broly climbed through the power system fighting single warriors but the minute his strength starts to match a fusion warrior is when things get really scary
Theres also the time limit. Knowing goku he probably would of wanted to fight him longer to push broly further and enjoy it but knowing the time limit he had to finish the fight at least some what quickly
