Messi disliked Chelsea on those few years they met each other. Mourinho knew how to wind up opponents and he was master at that. They had similar rivalry against Liverpool. When mourinho went to real madrid he took that style of management with him that when guardiola said enough is enough i can't take this toxic rivalry. Today's football rivalry is more friendlier than it used to be.
