@@peted5217 i changed my stock vag oil cooler to proper one that uses air flow for cooling, works like a dream now and oil is cooler than it was with stock cooler.

@eyeset9292 good question, because it's a money pit, car manufacturers since beginning of millennium, got the conclusion, that reliable car are a big lost to make. It's a kind of malfunction that if you don't detect by time, which you can't, it can very easily destroy transmission, or engine, in a way the no one can be blamed, best method for cooling a gear box for example is the old models that have a solid thick copper cooler inside radiator, instead this aluminum that is soft as butter, I was working on a Mazda 6 that this aluminum cooler was erupt, the automatic transmission and engine were destroyed, that's why I drive my toyota corolla a4fe 1998 for already 13 years, it never breaks... Since after the end of 1990es, each car is a tone of plastic and soft materials that made to burst after a certain time...

@@asafgl4281 lol these things absolutely never cause problems in the US so long as they were manufactured correctly in the first place. Maybe if you go ages with the wrong coolant it could eat the aluminum but that's not a problem most people have. It's essential to make it out of aluminum as the whole point of it is that it's for heat transfer.

To obtain lower emissions as a better fuel economy they want all of your different oils to reach operating temperatures quickly. The thermostat heats the coolant and the coolant heats the transmission fluid. If the transmission overheats like when loaded and the coolant is cooler the reverse heat will exchange.

i think its the oil cooler i saw same thing happened to ford everest but it's the oil cooler for the automatic transmission ATF GOT MIXED WITH COOLANT.

@@user-ez1sr9el3g теплообменник никак не участвует в охлаждении. Он даже такую функцию не выполняет. В названии подсказка. Он выравнивает температуру масла и охлаждающей жидкости, чтобы не было сильного перепада температуры, но эффективность крайне низкая, из-за его площади. Работает он когда мотор прогревается и ускоряет прогрев масла. Масло нагревается в 2-4 раза дольше антифриза.

Не завжди таке діє.Був в мене випадок-коли тріщина була настільки малою-що навіть при тиску в 9атм нічо не було видно.А при нагріванні теплообмінник перепускав масло в антифриз.

If you find coolant in your ATF this parts failure is the only way unless someone has pour the coolant directly into the transmission.

Weil die Ersatzteile billiger als nur billig hergestellt werden. Meistens überleben diese die Herstellergarantie und danach wird es richtig teuer aber gutes Geschäft für die Werkstätten. So ist es leider bei allem und bei allen Herstellern .

I hate this cooler. I absolutely hate it. Such a stupid design. The cooler is so small and close to the engine it can barely do anything and it combines two things which should never combine. On the om612 engine it is in such a stupid place - you have to remove the intake to get to it…. And to remove the intake you have to remove the thermostat… and then the gasket for the oil cooler keeps faaling out of place…

Thanks, we didn't set the pressure exactly to 1 bar. It was enough to give a little air and the air flow passed without difficulty

Там резиночка внутри, на 3 дырочки-две под трубы и одна под масло. Но то когда в бачек идет черное масло, тк давление выше!что крааааайне редко можно увидеть!так что.... Безтолковое видео

Ez egy olajhűtő. A hűtőfolyadèkba olaj megy, amikor ez a videóban làtott módon tönkre megy. Csak a videóban víz ès levegő keveredèsèt làthatjuk, mert ígyszerű bemutatni a hibàt.

Вітаю. В мене ситуація наступна: почав діватись антифриз, постійно доводиться доливати (пів бачка раз в 3-4 тижні). Підтікань не виявлено, патрубки цілі. На сто перевірили вміст СО2 (здається, так називається) у бачку при заведеному двигуні і 4к обертах. Результат позитивний. Кажуть, гбц потрібно ремонтувати, бо антифриз потрапляє в неї і розʼїдає, вона тріскається. До речі, температура двигуна раза в 1,5 стала більшою, як почало підʼїдати антифриз. Чи хтось зіштовхувався з цим і як вирішували проблему?

@@user-gf7tz4dt7c є така проблема. Потрібно знімати головку блока циліндрів. Оглянути на предмет появи раковин (ремонт або заміна по результату огляду), перевірити на герметичність, перевірити та зробити площину. Встановити нову прокладку ГБЦ.
