Maybe Rick Dicker 'retired' because the government thought Rick was too close to the Par family and became suspicious of him. So they fired him/killed/erased his memory.

I always suspected that the father was assassinated. Criminals had to know he was pro supers and since they broke in after the supers were illegal, it just seemed obvious this wasn't a regular robbery. Pixar does things intentionally and his death being so suspicious had to be intentional.

What I find interesting about the incredibles and incredibles 2 is that if you look at all the villains (except the undermined because what was he), none of them seem to have superpowers of their own. Syndrome doesn't, he uses technology, Evelyn, she uses technology, Bomb Voyage, as far as we know, he doesn't, he just uses bombs and silence (as a mime) to get around. I want to see a superpowers villain fight the supers if they do a 3rd movie (and hopefully it's a good quality movie and not a cash grab like a lot of sequels and 3rd-in-the-series movies)

As soon as I watched Incredibles 2 for the second time, I immediately thought of the possible sequel - Time jump a decade or so to when Jack Jack will struggle to stay on the side of good and be tempted to go dark, possibly even become the new villain. He has nearly 20 powers! There's never been a super in the films to have so many. It would be an awesome plot.

What if incredibles is not an alternate history but is akin to our history but supers are destined to lose and the government whiped everyone's memories. A combination of screenslaver and the memory wipe technology?

Why weren't the incredibles arrested at the end of the first one after saving the day, but were arrested after the Underminer attack?

Maybe the government funded Syndrome to get rid of supers forever. But they had to make being Super illegal before he had the clear to kill them. But syndrome turned around and used their help to furbish his own plans to make profit from his inventions.. Ik its probably random on this video but something you said at around minute 5:00 triggered the thought

During the end of the movie, when Coraline gets the last eye at Mr. B's, she tells him that he's just a copy of the real Mr. B, and he replies saying that he isn't that... anymore. What if the government was full of hidden supers, and they wanted to ban superheros due to the different types of villains that appeared to take vengeance due to them. Without superheros there's no supervillains. (In addition if they had superheros for normal tasks that police could do, what would be the point of having police?)

I love your theories but i feel that this one is very far off the mark. One thing that really strike me that you missed was that dad deavor had a phone to Gazerbeam and Gazerbeam only went missing in the first movie So I don't believe that the ban on superheros came just after he was shot. I instead believe that he was shot after gazerbeam died as in the first movie Frozone said the Gazerbeam had a hard time adjusting to normal life if he had a phone call he would jump into it. So i dont think that the Deavos were that high up plus i think someone else did a theory about the incredibles and they said this was like during the cold war period. And also how the hell did all the countries in the world ban superheroes at the same time?

There are no villains in the Incredibles universe.... Just supers who understand the truth and rebel against it.

Okay, so this is not in anyway related to the video, but a strange thing is the headline in a random newspaper at the beginning which says: “Dynaguy Sued”. But Dynaguy died due to his cape before the lawsuit was filed. So perhaps you should do a theory on it.

Of course Winston has conections with the NSA, he has a giant company of comunications and the goverment will want some of that. Perhaps in the meantime he met Rick, who he may already know for being the super representative. MAYBE it was Rick who gave Winston the idea since he was about to retire and there would be no one left to help the Supers.

I'm pretty sure that the government are the ones who created the supers, just by looking at their skills in the first movie... Yeah, you would probably still die in the first time you tried to fight crime without previous training.

🤯I don't think I've ever been more convinced that a movie theory is canon! I really like how the both NSA & the villains are called into question. If Winston worked for the NSA, that also might explain how he found just a handful of supers with powers that could create a bad image of supers. Everything fits & I love it!

If this were the entire case, then the government crackdown on supers was the stupidest thing ever. What makes the government think that they'll have CONTROL over these super-villains? I can understand how arrogance and pride can make you choose the worst decisions, but even someone with a "stiff upper lip" would not ignore the fact that there is such things as super-VILLAINS with plans to conquer/destroy the world/universe. These villains would most likely backstab the people who hired them after the super-heroes get suppressed, there even exists villains who can even outsmart law enforcement. I mean, government created criminals are one thing, but its another if the villain is independent of the government. So I highly doubt that the government would do something this stupid (suppressing super-heroes) because the non-associated super-villains would go on a rampage. The real question is HOW did the government suppress the super-villains for all those years?
