every time there's a debate about who the next Doctor will be Alan is top of my list. I seriously think he would be good. I mean. Look at him in Jonathan Creek, he was already dressing the part then...

I was in a (cheap) hotel once… jumped in the shower started getting clean and then looked up to see a huge spider sitting just a short distance from my head, on the wall. It was at least 8-10cm across (legs included obviously), so not small! I decided if it had watched half my shower without moving it might as well see the rest 😂 So just carried on & then calmly got out while it sat there. Never saw it again - luckily!

Stephen kept trying to goad someone into saying “a drink” or “water”… and no one fell for it! 😂

With my legs in stirrups, and a gynaecologist between my legs....directly above my face....slow motion black spider drop. One of the biggest thrills of my life. The spider seemed to be equally exhilarated on the rapid rebound of its bungee jump, after narrowly avoiding colliding with my face.

I want to see an edit where right after Sandy says "I've got the hang of this show" Stephen vanishes and Sandy is the host

My nickname is "Spiderman". I don't have any superpowers, I just sometime struggle to get out of the bath.

Can confirm sandi is right, most spiders have very poor eyesight. The only exceptions tend to be ones like wolf spiders which have to chase and hint their prey rather than trap it in a web etc.

"Are they voyeurs? Do they like watching people in the bath?" Once, while I was undressing for a shower, I happened to look up just as a spider was descending from the bathroom ceiling, as if to land on my head or, indeed, to get a closer look. 😆 Though it did jolt and start to ascend when I yelped and jumped away.

I don’t like the implication that there is probably tons of spiders all over my carpet that I am missing because they blend in. That means I’m probably stepping on lots of spiders with my bare feet. I don’t hate spiders, I just hate the idea of them touching me because they’re so small. It’s for he same reason I don’t like worms or flies. I also find tiny dogs very cute but I’m scared I’ll accidentally step on one because they’re so small.

I let spiders in my house and I love them, watch the ones in the bathroom. But I was wondering where they diaspear all of a sudden after a few weeks. They stay in the same corner for a couple of weeks and then they are gone!

Wouldn't that be a good alarm clock, one that releases spiders over your bed. I'd never hit the snooze button. Up and across the room all awake, prob before it even rang.

This is one of my All time favourite discussions on the show. Great stuff. The suggestions are hilarious, washing, a drink (put apart your own preferences🤣) Spider Drop sounds I interesting.. 👍😁 Big Question...Stephen or Sandy...😳😂🙄... (Or... both be Captains with Alan as quiz master.) It has been suggested before but I really want to see that happen..👍

Spiders actually have very good vision. They have 8 eyes, after all. Some species like jumping spiders rely on their vision in order to hunt.

Sandi is correct about Spiders they are natures pest controllers, its better to have 1 spider than 100 cockroaches
