Smug's got those life ending combos. One moment his opponent is washing him and the next moment the opponent is getting robbed of 3/4s of his health bar, the vitality of his children, and his ki all in one go. Masterful
@@juanbravo2965 It's just hard to start something with him in neutral, you have to wait for them to mess up. His fireballs aren't good so you can't zone to make up for that.

Not like he has a V-skill that can absorb a projectile and immediately allow him to block on successful absorb. Not like he has a V-trigger that gives him 6 charges of buffed specials that can be made safe by using a V-skill that gives him a fireball from the air from the ground that has 2 points of durability. Pooooor G and his lack of defensive options. And yet Abigail gets nerfed for having corner carry. Go put some more slob on Ono's knob.
Kage is a character that needs time to develop, perfection and make it work, is difficult. But in a game that you have a joke character like "Abigail" buffed, that is bad. Also for worst there is that line up " K A R ": KARIN - ABIGAIL- RASHID. That is all you see in tournaments. This game needs more balance an yes let's bring to the game more characters like Kage, maybe we can get to see more diversity of characters in tournaments.
Im so mad i cant play kage, because hes my fav character and when i bought the game on steam i was only able to play for 1 hour before i relaunched and i kept crashing ;-;
It's because they've always had an arc in mind for Daigo. With SFV nearing its end, it's time for Daigo to enter his final form. He's happy with Kage. Therefore Kage gets the buffs. No more messing around with merely being in top-8. He'll win. And Daigo's success is directly linked with the success of the SF franchise, so it's win-win.
Kage needed a buff tbh. His air mix ups are some of the best but he is hard as hell to play and his punches and kicks on the footsie neutral game are so short range. G still wins though Smug just tripping here a bit.
