Hey man, just found your channel yesterday when I was searching for moomin-videos! Subbed! I'm intrigued where you're gonna go. I hope you get many more subs in the future :D Also, I find it interesting when people discuss the reasons why someone likes horror or dark content in general. I had a conversation with a classmate recently about the horror genre. He was convinced that people who like horror watch it because deep down they are sick and twisted and want to do those things to others in real life. He said he liked comedies because they were about making you laugh. I then said: yeah but most comedies are about immoral and horrible people being horrible to everybody around them. Implying that by his logic that must mean that he deep down wants to hurt everybody in his life. I don't think he wants to do that of course, but it is just such a strange thing to say. I don't even think there's that much of a deep reason why some people watch horror movies. We are animals and we like adrenaline. We live mostly save and protected lives and the only way we can safely reconnect with our primal emotions is through entertainment. I personally watch horror movies when I want excitement or when I want to reach into a part of myself that I need to reflect on. I saw Climax the other day. It's an intense ride and very much an invitation for the viewer to safely put themself in a very, very unsafe situation and reflect on what they would do or on situations they have been in irl that messed with them. It's almost like therapy sometimes.
Your channel is amazing and can't wait to see more videos from you :DDDD I saw your moomin video on recommended section and I'm so glad I found this channel :P
For some reason even though I was really scared of shows like scooby doo and courage and moomin I still watched them as a kid. Home alone watching been scared I guess maybe I just wanted to see the good guys prevail in the end but the show courage didn't really have a happy ending in my opinion.
