I just like a Gaga song the first way she presents them to us, it's different than seeing it later on. the aura of the song changes. And that snl Moment is "Why Did You Do That" in it's best form.
I know this was supposed to be the "bad" song from the movie, but it's literally everything we ever wanted haha. Along with Heal me, Hair Body Face and is that alright.
I know the song and the entire performance is supposed to make us really sad that Ally lost what made her original and has turned into a "generic pop artist" - but let's be real, this is an amazing performance, way better than most of the actual snl performances
I don’t think we are supposed to feel sad. We are to understand that she is just getting started in the business. She has to become popular in order for her to actually do the songs that are authentic to her. I think back to 2008/2009 and The Fame came out for Lady Gaga. Those songs were made to reflect an artist first coming out. It wasn’t until we were a few albums in and a lot of live performances of her oh the piano in order for us to understand the depth that she brings. I love this song because it’s a great starting point for a new artist that we know has the depth to continue sharing more of her story
I will be honest, when i was a kid i didnt like lady gaga, i thought she was so weird and out of this world🙈 Now i see her with a completely different way and i think she is one hell of a human being with a pure heart and kindness she is just pure passion.I am so sorry Lady Gaga!! (Please dont hate i had to share)
iliana Santo SAME when I was like idk 9 or something, I always disliked her because of these "satanic" things people called, yet I still lowkey bop to Bad Romance and Poker Face Until recently I tried getting into Artpop and i was shocked. Then I listened to Joanne (Now my 2nd Favorite album of all time) then BTW, etc. Now I'm a really huge fan of her, she's very talented, very loving, and very accepting to people. Now I know why many people loves her.
Diane Warren co-wrote the song and defended its lyrics, noting that it was not meant to be a "bad pop song", but rather a fun, light-hearted track to emphasize that Ally's career was on the rise as Jackson's was declining.
Ken Alexandre Meridi They said RIGHT NOW. Those albums you mentioned are iconic, but they came out a long time ago. I don’t really think today’s music sucks, but it’s hard to find artist that got me feeling the way Gaga did in the 2010s lol.
I realize this song is meant to be “shallow” (pun) & the pop manufacturing of her label, all not true to her real voice. But this song is literally what the gays throw down for and wanted from this soundtrack.
i really love that type of jokey/sarcastc/ironic pop songs and i cant think of many other than This one, intuition, on a roll and most of what poppy makes
I really like this song, it sounds like a first single for a nighties’ girl pop group and I’m weak for it. The percussion gets me every time. It’s not true to Ally’s voice at all but I love it.
While the production is just supposed to be generic pop-trap style of today's music...her voice and pitch control is just outstanding. Thus, makes it a bop to me. A lot of new singers out now rely on so much auto tune and her vocals have so much raw emotion in them, even in a song like this.
there’s a huge undertone of sadness in this song despite being a generic pop single and i think people often pay attention to the simplicity of the lyrics but not the emotion behind it which for me hits home in terms of emotional relationships
Lady gaga deserves the recognition that Beyoncé gets. Being so versatile with her style in music and then her multiple talents. She can sing, dance, play multiple instruments, speaks multiple languages, acts exceptionally well, and most importantly stays true to herself beyond everything else.
